The archers in the rest area were stunned, seeing Li Lao's face flushed red with anger.

Tang Yan watched the 70-meter finals from the sidelines.

The winner was Zhang Jixue from Yuhang City. The latter had gotten an amazing result of 102 points with 12 arrows. The average number of points reaching 8.5 per arrow. The audience cheered fervently.

Tang Yan didn't bother to watch the 90-meter finals. This distance was too far for him, and there was no such event at the Olympic level. So, after watching the 70-meter finals, he returned to the hotel to rest.

Upon returning to the hotel, he was sought after by his teammates.

The two old archers they had brought were going to participate in tomorrow's competition, so they were training in the training grounds by the competition venue.

The other guys though had come to find him to go out with them. They were going to chill with the archers from the other cities.

But Tang Yan wasn't in the mood to go out, so he said he was too tired, and they went off on their own.

The 50-meter event was over, and tomorrow's team event was going to be handled by the two veteran archers and the others.

His trip to the provincial archery trials was over.

Although he was a bit unsatisfied, he had to admit it had been a fruitful trip. He had won his first major event, unlocked more of Li Guangs' skills and gotten Shao Ping's promise to help him get into the provincial team; he had already gained a lot.

Shao Ping and Wang Tao had both taken a seat on his bed.

"Remember what I told you before?" said Shao Ping with a smile.

"Before?" Tang Yan gave it a thought, then said with excitement, "Wait, did coach manage to get me into the provincial team?"

"Hahaha..." Shao Ping laughed with a smile.

Wang Tao said, "Tang Yan, you have to thank Shao Ping and Li Lao. They've put in a lot of effort to get you into the team".

"Thank you so much, coach!" said Tang Yan with gratitude from the heart.

"Haha, don't get all emotional on me now. Just make sure to perform well in the provincial team and strive to enter the list for the Youth Olympics, this would be the best way to thank me." Shao Ping said with a big smile.

"I will work hard," said Tang Yan nodding heavily.

After this, Shao Ping discussed a few more things with him then and finally said "Okay, well, I'll leave you be. Have a good rest." Then got up and walked out with a laugh.

Wang Tao got up as well but didn't leave with Shao Ping; instead, he lowered his voice and said: "Tang Yan, I heard about what happened earlier, you need to watch out in the provincial team. A lot of the members are from Yuhang City, and Xiao Yan is not the type to let things go easily. "

"I understand coach, I'll keep my head down," said Tang Yan with a sigh.

"It's good that you understand. You don't have to be too worried with Li Lao looking over you, things should be fine. Try to enjoy yourself a bit more often, you have earned it, so it's okay. You are always so strict and solemn, completely unlike your age," said Wang Tao with a smile.
