Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (3)

Vivian and Marie stepped inside a building.

Marie was carrying her equipment and went straight to the counter where there were two clerks, a Priest and a Priestess, sitting behind, both of whom were wearing White Cloaks.

Vivian, on the other hand, decided to look around.

This is the Blacksmith Shop…?

When Marie told her that she needed to go to the blacksmith to help her wear her armor because she couldn't do it by herself and Vivian had no experience in putting on a set of armor, she was expecting to see a dimly lit room with a burly dwarf or a long-bearded and mean-looking muscular old man forging a weapon with his scrawny assistant and they're all drenched in sweat while furnaces were coughing out flames and smoke.

She was even expecting some hardcore death metal music playing in the background. Instead, what she was seeing in front of her was just a normal weapon and armor shop with two clerks behind a counter.

And of course, they were still inside the compound of the land where the members of the Temple of Priests reside.

Marie was escorted to one of the rooms at the side by one of the clerks, a female in her mid-20s.

Vivian continued walking around, giving each item a quick glance before moving to another.

No price tags…

Some items were hung on the wall, while others were on top of tables. However, none of them had price tags.

She continued looking around before her eyes finally landed on a bardiche that was hanging on a wall.

The body was 6ft long and painted in silver, while the blade was 1ft long.

She reached out her hand to touch it but stopped mid-way and pulled back her hand.

"That's a good weapon, sister," a male voice suddenly said.

Vivian turned her head in the direction of where the voice came from and saw that it was one of the clerks behind the counter, a Priest in his early 30s.

"Great for slaying larger and tougher opponents even without enchantment and caring about the sharpness. But some would argue that a normal axe or mace would suffice. Well, I guess it depends on the person."

"I see," Vivian said before turning away and resuming to look around.

The man noticed the sword on Vivian's waist and her boots with metal covers.

"You practice [Sword Mastery] and [Leg Mastery]?"

Vivian stopped and returned her gaze to the Priest once more.

"Yes."

"I'm Brother Sike. I'm one of the people in charge of managing this shop."

"Sister Vivian," she replied and resumed searching around once again.

Noticing that Vivian wasn't in the mood to talk, he left her alone.

Vivian continued searching around until she noticed another interesting weapon.

Brass knuckles…?

In front of her was a pair of silver-colored brass knuckles. Back in the previous world that Vivian was from, specifically in the country she was born and raised in, carrying brass knuckles was no different from carrying a knife and gun. Once a man was seen carrying something like that, they would immediately attract unnecessary attention. However, what really caught her eye about the weapon was that it had some red words or symbols on the outer layer of its rings.

Vivian's brows knitted together.

I can't read it…

A different language…?

No matter how much she tried to focus, she couldn't read it.

Did Marie not teach me everything…?

But after realizing that she only started learning how to read yesterday, she dismissed the thought and concluded that it was a foreign language.

Well, I can just ask her later…

She switched her focus on the weapon.

Hmm...

I guess wearing steel gloves is better…

At least with steel gloves, I don't have to worry about putting it on every time I want to use it…

There's also the chance that I might lose then when running in the middle of the fight…

Yup…

Pretty useless…

Vivian continued looking around until she found another interesting item.

This time around, it was a full set of silver-colored armor just like Marie's. However, this one had a different design. It was painted in white with gold accents and had a short white cape behind it that ended on the rear end.

She continued looking around and realized that she had already seen everything.

She glanced at the door of the room that Marie was led to by the female clerk.

The door was closed.

Tch.

Vivian clicked her tongue.

Maybe it's against the rules to enter…?

But I'm a woman and the clerk that Marie was with was also a woman…

So I guess it's fine if I enter…?

I want to see how they put on armors in real life…

And plus, I’m not gonna lie, I want to see her naked body…

After all, she has seen mine…

She shook her head.

What the fuck am I thinking…?

I should spend more time doing productive things…

She turned to the Priest behind the counter and headed over to him.

"Brother Sike, right?"

"At your service, Sister Vivian," he said and smiled.

"Can you tell me what kind of metals are used for making weapons and armor?"

He thought about it for a moment.

"Well, there's Iron, Silver, Mithril, Orichalcum, Adamantite, Rainbow Steel and Spirit Steel. However, we only sell Silver to Adamantite here.”

“Why?”

“Because Iron is too weak so no one buys them. But for Rainbow Steel and Spirit Steel, those are legendary precious metals that are so rare that people would literally spill blood for them, especially for the Spirit Steel."

Vivian then recalled how her weapons snapped or got destroyed after using her skills.

"You mentioned that iron is too weak. How does one know when a weapon is too weak for the owner's strength? I used to have other weapons, but after using a skill with it a few times it got destroyed."

A confused expression flashed across Sike’s face but it only lasted for a moment.

In his head, Vivian looked like in her mid-20s, she was a Priestess, she had a Copper I pendant around her neck and although she looked poorly armed, she was still armed nonetheless.

"People use a Physical Force Crystal."

"Physical Force Crystal?"

"Hold on for a moment."

Sike began searching from the drawers of the counter.

When he finally found the item he was looking for, he placed it on top of the counter and in front of Vivian.

The Physical Force Crystal looked like the Class Crystal, at least when it came to its shiny metal-like texture. The only difference was that it was shaped into a rod about 10 inches long.

"Hold it and imagine using any Physical Art that you have," said Sike.

Vivian picked up the rod and imagined activating a skill.

[Power Fist].

The rod made a faint white glow.

"Hmm… Based on the glow, my estimation is that your physical force is around the silver metal."

Vivian's brows knitted together.

“Huh?”

“As I mentioned earlier, the metals are Iron, Silver, Mithril, Orichalcum, Adamantite, Rainbow Steel and Spirit Steel.

“And when it comes to measuring a person’s Physical and Magic Force, we also based them on those metals Iron, Silver, Mithril, Orichalcum, Adamantite, Rainbow Steel and Spirit Steel.

“So to put it simply, if your Physical Force is Silver and you use a Physical Art on a weapon that’s made out of Iron, the quicker it will destroy your weapon.”

I don’t understand half of what he’s saying…

“I see. So the glow earlier, you were able to identify my strength based on the color of the glow?"

"The Physical Force Crystal only emits a white glow. The measurement is based on the brightness of the glow."

When Vivian put down the rod, it stopped shining.

"So the brighter the glow, the higher the metal that is needed?"

"Yes."

"What about those legendary metals you've mentioned?"

“You mean Rainbow Steel and Spirit Steel? Aside from the fact that Rainbow Steel and Spirit Steel metals are extremely rare, there aren’t that many people walking around with Rainbow Steel or Spirit Steel Physical and Magic Force. In fact, it’s already admirable when someone reaches a Physical and Magic Force of Adamantite grade.”

Why is this person talking about Physical and Magic Force…?

Are they two different things…?

Is that common knowledge…?

If it is, how am I going to explain why I, an adult who is also an Adventurer, have no idea about Physical and Magic Force…?

Motherfucker…

I need to find a way to subtly ring it out from him…

"So what is the common Physical and Magic Force?"

"It depends on which group you’re referring to and what age. But let’s say we’re going to base it on your age. You’re in your mid-20s, right?”

Vivian nodded.

“If we are looking at the overall population, then you can say it's Silver.

“If we are looking at the group whose main profession is fighting, then it's around Mithril.

“If we are looking at the members of the Temple of Priests and Nobles, then we could say somewhere between Mithril and Orichalcum.

“And if we are looking at the future Gray Cloaks and people from the Aristocratic Noble families, then maybe we could say Orichalcum.

“But if you ask me about the key members, like gifted individuals from Royal and Aristocratic Noble families and organizations such as the Temple of Priests, that I don’t know anymore.”

Vivian suppressed the urge to massage her forehead.

I probably only understood 25% of what he said this time around…

Anyhow…

The metals are Iron, Silver, Mithril, Orichalcum, Adamantite, Rainbow Steel and Spirit Steel…

And that’s also based on the Physical and Magic Force or whatever that means…

And right now I’m Silver…

Damn…

So weak…

Still so, so weak…

Vivian was about to ask another question when a door opened.

A being donned in full armor and the other shop’s clerk appeared.

The armored being flipped the visor of her helmet, revealing her face.

"My apologies for keeping you waiting, Sister Vivian," Marie said and smiled as she curtsied.
