That's all. Wow, a lot of pictures I took. Well, I love them. Lilly, thank you for accepting my love. I hope to make you happy and never feel sad or lonely. To our next future anniversary Vegas trip!!!!

Lillian's heart fluttered after reading the message from Lucy. Of all those people, she had dated till now, Lucy was the one who provoked her to get angry, fight, and still confess genuinely. Lucy is trying, she is trying for me to live happily. Maybe, after all these years, it is time for me to let Giselle out of my life.

She might not even suffer like how I'm right now, I mean she got married abroad, now lives with a kid!!! Lives... with.... a kid, where's her husband then? Did she not mention about her husband to Anna? What? What am I even thinking?

All for the next golden ten minutes, Lillian circled around a maze inside of her brain. While Anna, on the other hand, was patiently waiting for her friend to speak up.

"Oops, Anna, Are you there? I'm so sorry." Lillian checked to know if her friend still waited on line.

"Well, I suppose yes. I would have confirmed that you were dead if you haven't replied me after fifteen minutes. So? Did you struggle to prepare your message for Giselle?" Anna replied.

Message? Shit!!!!! I gotta convey her message. I totally forgot about that.

"Guessed it right. I knew you that you won't have any message ready by now." Anna felt pathetic. This is troublesome. She thought she might help Lillian to get better but somehow it turned out to become a mess. However, it is her best friend from school and still now; even though she hasn't shown it out loud lately. Anna waited until she got a reply from her friend.

Lillian was struggling like a flightless bird trying to get away from the hunter. Finally, she cleared the Maze and got out to give Anna her message. "Anna, I have a message for Lillian now. Can I trust you to convey it directly?" Lillian sounded confident.

Her voice was steady and clear. Anna agreed and listened to the message concentrated every single word of it.

"Are you sure that I tell Giselle this was a message from you? I mean are you 100% sure of it?" Anna asked her to check if the message was just a mere reply to Giselle; her first love or is Lillian sure to move on?

"You have told me to live my life. I am following it, Anna. I would appreciate if you give Giselle a reply only when she asks about me? else you don't need to tell her this message and just enjoy the party." Lillian requested.

"Sure. Deal. I'm happy for Lillian. And I mean it. If there's one thing I want from you. It is for you to live without regrets. I know how much you loved that girl and cared for her. I even got angry at you for your decision back then at high school. But when I saw you happy with her, I regretted yelling at you. However, life wasn't fair to you. So, all I could do was pester you to 'move on'. And I know that it is difficult to get it over. I'm sorry if I couldn't be a good friend Lilly." Anna felt guilty. She kept saying things that were unsaid before.

"Lilly, promise me that you must care for yourself first and foremost. Don't be over generous. I know I shouldn't say like this. But I truly wish your peace. I received every word of your message to Giselle; if and only if she asks about you. I will let you know if I get any reply." Anna replied firmly.

"Anna?"

"Yes, Lilly."

"Promise me one thing, you can attend the party and go on. If Giselle asks about me, give her my message. But just don't tell me anything, any replies or any messages from her. I don't need them. You know what I'm saying right? Let me try this one time to see if I can live without her love." Lillian requested.

They both agreed and hung up later.

After the call, Lillian replied to Lucy for her message & pictures. The time was 11:00 PM. It was a reckless day and Lillian was severely tired from traveling, cleaning, and clearing the maze inside of her brain. She switched off her light and went to bed. Her phone rang, it was a message from Lucy and Anna.

Love you too. Sleep well. Book release soon, all the best. I pray to god for your success. Bye.

Lilly, after your book release, come to visit me. I want to see your pathetic face again. lol. All the best for your book. I pray for your success and happiness. Good night. Sleep tight.

Lillian had few tears after reading Anna's message. Anna never talked about Lillian's book before. So, Lillian believed that she wasn't interested in reading her friend's work. But now, she learned that Anna follows her career too. She just felt happy. With few tears rolling down her cheek, she turned around facing her pillow and sleep tight. That night she slept like a baby.
