Everyone looked jittery and worked up.

Seeing their faces, Seth could understand what went inside those still-developing brains.

'I wanted them to consider their future carefully. However, from the looks of it, some are confident while many are still worrying.'

Seth let out a loud sigh.

"Alright, Alright- don't imagine too much of it. You all are young. You still have time to experience the world and decide your career."

Thought the kids were all graduating from their high school status, Seth did not intend to pressure them with career plans. He only wanted to know what they dream about and their life goals. Frankly, he was hoping that they would understand the responsibility of upholding their life and live without any regrets.

Hence, this gathering is for the students to know that dreams are meant to work hard for and achieve.

Nonetheless, before initiating the discussions, Seth called out on everyone.

"First, tell me how you guys did on the finals, specifically my subject?"

Seth's question enthralled everyone.

"It was easy as a piece of cake, Mr. Seth," one of the kids from backseat row shouted.

"Is that so? Then I will make sure to check your answers with extra care!" Seth responded.

The student immediately got scared and went speechless.

"Some of them chorused together with a 'the test was good' expression on their face. A very few had the resolute confidence like Derek, Anna, Carmel, and a few more.

The mixed response from the students wasn't clear. Hence, Seth gave up.

"If you did well, then there is no one else who would be more proud of you than me," Seth declared.

The kids became soft after hearing it straight from Seth. They smiled playfully.

"Very well, we shall now start with your career plans."

Not even a moment passed with the kids feeling emotional, Seth went on to the next step.

"I can read through your expressions, and so, Derek will start first," he called out.

Just as he mentioned, Derek being the topper he was displayed confidence. He did not hesitate a second after Mr. Seth calling his name.

Standing up from his seat at once, Derek took a firm stance, almost towering overall with his prided gaze.

His eyes reflected his driving force, and the expression was so appealing.

"I wanted to become an Aircraft designer and work towards the country's growth."

Derek's big reveal startled everyone, including Mr. Seth. He expected the school topper to be a nerd, but he announced his dream so bold and sharp showcased his perception and such a crisp vision on his future.

"V- Awesome, Derek," Seth faltered slightly from the flamboyant start.

"What can I say? You did show interests precisely. I'm very proud, and I wish you to reach your dreams and go further heights in achievements. Best wishes, Derek."

Seth encouraged and supported his top student to pursue his goal.

Following Derek, Seth let the students speak one after the other.

Row by row, it went. No longer had they felt the meeting to be boring. Everyone appeared focused as they observed their classmates reveal about their passion.

"Next up is our Bridgette," Seth called.

So far, Bridgette maintained silence at school and changed her behavior. Most it was because of the problems she faced alone for the seed she sowed. However, her redemption journey still included her best friends. A little by little, Bridgette's attitude changed. She stopped involving herself with others and spent most of her time with Ivy. Both enjoy movies, and so, Ivy often took her out to the theatres.

The change bought shock to her classmates, but soon, it got welcomed. She wasn't treated highly or so, but still, a few relieved from Bridgette's bullying.

Now, when it came to her turn, everyone gawked at Bridgette with prying eyes.

Bridgette stood from her seat.

"Mr. Seth, I want to become a Broadway actor, not an actress but an actor."

Most of them had their brows reaching the temples as they all heard the gossip queen reveal her dream.

Seth got surprised as well.

"Wow, May I ask why?" Seth asked.

Bridgette held a poised gaze, not hesitating for a second.

"Ethel Merman's performance from the movie 'There's no business like show business' was my first impression. My parents love that movie very much, and we used to watch it often at home. I remember growing up watching this incredible woman playing the role, Molly Donahue. I saw it hundreds of times that I still remember every scene in my mind."

"Also, Donald O'Conner is my all-time crush. He was also an influence. Following that, my parents also took me to many Broadway plays where I would watch these incredible actors performing."

"Naturally, it stuck with me, and I wanted to take it seriously after graduating high school."

Probably, it is the first time that everyone heard Bridgette talk so genuine and is natural in her charms while doing it. She looked happy sharing about her vision. Everybody was in the awe, listening to every word she uttered.

"What is your favorite Broadway play?" Lillian asks, quenching her curiosity about Bridgette's unseen passion.

Hearing a fellow voice coming from behind, Bridgette turns to find all of her classmates in complete wonder.

Astonished from learning about her new side, even Lillian got caught in complete focus.

"Uh- my favorite play?" she repeats to get confirmation.

Lillian Grey nods.

Scratching her cheeks, Bridgette thought.

"Ah- There are too many. I can't finalize it to one. But, if I were to choose, then-"

Bridgette continued thinking about it intensely.

"Hmm, I think I'll say Oklahoma! by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II."

"Yeah, I will choose that because I like the cowboy vibes, and the story has a lot of interesting moments."

Bridgette answered and smiled brightly.

"I'm guessing you like the character, Laurey Williams," Lillian Grey returned.

To her surprise, it was Bridgette's favorite character, and so she nodded her head swiftly.

"Woah, she is a great character," Lillian admitted.

These two conversed as like there's no one present while the rest watched them in muteness.

"Do you know what she is talking about?" Anna stepped in, asking the question that everyone had on their minds.

At an instant, Lillian Grey admitted to knowing about the play. As someone who enjoys novels, it was no wonder that Lillian was aware of the story.

Seth intruded from dragging the conversation. He felt happy for Bridgette holding a passion for such an art. He wished and praised her for the first time.

Bridgette appeared content and motivated by his genuine, heartfelt words.

Sitting down, it was Ivy's turn.

"Mr. Seth, it is not something like a secret. Everyone knows that I love movies and that I'm into directing. You guys watched my short films, right?"

Ivy spoke casually about her dream.

Ivy's interest in movies is already known to her circle, and others as well. She is often found to be participating in some contests or so.

Seth also knew it and wished her luck to make great movies.

Next came Sara and Carmel.

Sara informed Seth that she wanted to do business while Carmel had an idea.

At first, Seth asked Carmel twice or thrice to stress her in sharing her dream, but it failed. Carmel responded that she wants to explore more and then decide what suits her.

Seth dared not to defy her words and encouraged Carmel to find her passion and chase it diligently.

Carmel welcomed his words whole-heartedly.

The streak continued and soon landed at Jamie.

When it came to Jamie's turn, instead of her, everybody answered in chorus.

"Jamie is our music artist, Mr. Seth."

"Yes, Mr. Seth, Jamie is going to become the best singers in our country."

"Yeah. Yeah"

Jamie laughed as she heard everyone talk for her.

Just like Ivy, Jamie's dream is well-known amongst her classmates. She indeed admitted to their delights.

"Jamie, you have to give us your concert tickets!"

A few roared from the backseat. The guys all requested her to give concert tickets so that they can take their girlfriends on a date.

For a while, it became a cheeky conversation for the students to chat commonly. Seth joined in as well.

"Alright, we can't rob her so publicly. Jamie?" Seth settled.

"When you become an artist and hold your first concert remember to invite to us, deal?" he suggested.

The kids all nodded to Seth's words and eagerly looked at Jamie.

"Of course, Mr. Seth, I promise to invite our class and you to my first concert, which I don't think will be that far."

Jamie said and winked, receiving claps from all.

Before sitting down, because they were all in the zone, some of the kids requested Jamie to sing, and she ended up dedicating a song to her friends by singing The Beatles 'With a little help from my friends.'

Jamie, as usual, gave a beautiful rendition of the song. It wasn't like an occasion, but she turned it into one with her performance.

A few swayed their bodies as they enjoyed to her music, and the rest grooved to the song.

Finishing her performance, Jamie finally sat down after loud praise from her classmates.
