Jamie hesitantly lifted her head to the point of only taking a glimpse at him. When she did, Derek removed one of his hands from holding her. He raised her face even higher to engage eye to eye.

Jamie's gaze, still radiantly sparkling from the first time he had met her. He found himself to get captured into her.

"Do you want to give us a second chance?" he asked sincerely.

All of the racing heartbeats suddenly became tranquil. Somehow Jamie felt at ease and confident with him staring into her.

"Of course, I ain't going to miss the guy I fell in love with," she responded.

With no exchange for words, Derek looked at her astoundingly.

His love for her that he secretly held gave him the faith he needed to believe in her.

"Alright, Ms. Jamie, I hope you succeed this time. Let's work hard together, okay?" he said by pressing their heads jointly.

His voice as refined as it could be and his grip, on the other hand, toughened to let the girl know that he is willing to give a second chance.

Jamie held the boy who appears to lose his poise. She supported him with her own strength.

"I will," she swore.

With the second song concludes, everyone around them seemed perplexed by their unusual bonding.

"That lucky bastard, look at him being so close to Jamie."

"Why am I so jealous even when I clearly know that I don't stand a chance with Jamie?"

A few guys groaned to themselves.

As soon as the second song ended, Chester declared everyone to join in along with their partners to take up the dance floor.

Following his cue, the couples took over the limelight.
