Chapter 070 Part 2

Anran went into the office, put the bag down, then heard sound of the office door opening. Huang Dexing pushed open the door. His face was smiling at her.

Anran stood up, “Director, what can I do for you?”

Huang Dexing smiled and motioned for her to sit down. He pulled a chair to sit down in front of her.

“I heard about yesterday’s commotion. Who was on bad behavior to tear up your design, the company must track down to the end to give you an explanation, and that you will do well.” Huang Dexing said so.

“Yeah.” He looked at Anran. She just softly answered. She knew he was dealing with her. The investigation would be conducted, but the results was another matter. “I and the other company have some news.”

Huang Dexing satisfiedly nodded, and said, “In fact, we all know your strength clearly. The reason why the company has the pitch competition is just to want some people who are unwilling to lose convinced, nothing to it. No one thought in the heart that such a small matter, is capable of such things. ”

Anran just looked at him, didn’t laugh, didn’t take him.

“This afternoon, I will cancel this pitch competition. As for the design of the municipal government building, I fear that the design of yours really cannot keep up, and so, we can only use Xiao Xiao’s.” Huang Dexing said as he watched Anran’s expression.

Anran mouth twitched, but she did not smile, only said, “I listen to all the company’s arrangement. I have no opinion.” For his favoritism of Xiao Xiao, she would have to be prepared. It was not surprising anymore.

Hearing her, Huang Dexing nodded. He was clearly satisfied with her answer. Then, he stood up, walked out of the office, and without forgetting to say, ” Tell me when Su-tezhu is set to have dinner.”

Anran just nodded, “When there is a chance.”

At lunch time, Anran went to the bathroom, just in time to encounter Xiao Xiao who was holding a face powder compact to her own makeup. She came and saw Xiao Xiao’s eyes looking at her eyes back, while one of her hands was holding the puff to pat her face.

Anran only sighed, then walked over to her, directly to the sink, and then washed her face with water and then came out. Xiao Xiao was still, at the moment, holding a lipstick and looking at the mirror, and painted her own mouth a bright red. Xiao Xiao looked like she wanted to make some people feel dazzled, coupled with her too white powder beaten face, with her outfit today, a black suit dress. Anran had to think of some kind of bloody comparison. Strangely, she was not so into makeup, but she was really flattered her.

Anran’s eyes didn’t stay long on her face. She washed her hands in the sink, pulled the paper straight and walked out.

In the afternoon, Lin Xiao Fen also called to confirm about dinner tomorrow evening. For both parents to meet, Lin Xiao Fen was still feeling a little nervous, not quite showed on the phone and asked how were the Su family men. She asked what sort of gift needed to be ready when they met. Anran was relieved, only said that the several Su patriarch were good, approachable, and it was not pretend.

Hearing her daughter say so, Lin Xiao Fen was also relieved, putting down her heavy heart, but still, she could not help but want to ask her a few questions about Su Yi Cheng recently and whether Su Yi Cheng treated her good, and she said to later ask Su Yi Cheng to at least, every week, go back to visit them.

Anran was keen on the idea. Her mother said some things in life and work, of course, only picking nice words to say. Tomorrow night, she told her mother that she and Su Yi Cheng would be over to pick them up directly at home and so on.

Closing the line, sitting in the same position, Anran stayed a while, when Ling Lin, with her design, came. She gave it before her next job. Anran hadn’t yet finished checking it when Ling Lin’s phone rang. Ling Ran was on the phone. Ling Ran said that they must eat together tonight. Ling Lin happily promised, then didn’t know what Ling Ran said in the phone, Ling Lin looked at Anran and asked, “Sister Gu, do you want to have dinner together in the evening? This time, my sister said she wants to thank you for taking care of her.”

Hearing it, Anran frowned, then looked towards Ling Lin. She smiled slightly, then refused, “No, I have a dinner tonight with someone, next time then.”

Ling Lin didn’t think twice, directly conveyed Anran’s words to her sister, and the two sisters chatted something for a while, then hung up the phone.

Anran checked Ling Lin’s design again then handed it back to her, and said that to let her sketch required new ideas, at least have a reasonable one. From another drawer, Anran took two books, then handed it over to Ling Lin to look freely.

Ling Lin spit her tongue out slightly and blushed, while Anran somewhat looked weak and tired, sitting on the chair.

Anran didn’t know what was the relationship between Ling Ran and Su Yi Cheng before. Ling Ran seemed to take every opportunity to be close to Su Yi Cheng as her goal. She was afraid of how much it would affect Su Yi Cheng. However, this morning and yesterday night, it seemed, from Su Yi Cheng’s attitude, she thought that he was avoiding Ling Ran at some point.

A few minutes back to work, Su Yi Cheng’s call came in. He said that today, he had authorities investigation, and estimated that there was a dinner tonight, so there was no way to pick her up when she went home. Anran nodded and said yes, then told him to come back early.

Anran just gave herself a bowl of noodles as her evening meal, eating directly in the study room. Before, her design was torn, but the design was still in her own memory. She drew the design on paper based on her little bit of memories.

Didn’t know for how long Anran was sketching, she was very serious, untill finally, she drew a large sample for a little from the time. Her mouth felt thirsty. Subconsciously, reaching towards the edge of the table for a cup of tea, she found that she was not in the office, but in the apartment’s study room.

Anran got out of the study room, then went to the kitchen to prepare herself a glass of water.

“Bang! -”

From the living room, there was a sound of something falling. She turned and walked towards the living room, and found out that Su Yi Cheng had come back. Now, his brows were furrowed, his one hand tightly clutching his stomach and his another hand grabbing a bottle. There was slightly cold sweat on his forehead, and he looked to be very much in pain.
