First Marriage Then Love Chapter 3

The next morning, when breakfast preparation Lin Xiao Fen had done, she saw her daughter out of the room. She looked at her eyes and said “Come and eat breakfast.” Her tone sounded as usual, without the slightest strange, as if something had happened last night was never exist.

Anran walked toward the table, pulled a chair to sit down opposite Lin Xiao Fen. Lin Xiao Fen handed her porridge.

Anran bowed down on the porridge, didn’t see the emotional expression.

Although Gu was not scholarly, but Gu father also had a set of ‘rigid standards’ – eat without saying, sleep without a word!

After she gulped down her porridge, Anran looked up at Lin Xiao Fen, said “Mom, you call Zhang Yi. I agree with Lin Anjie to look first.”

Lin Xiao Fen and Gu Heng Wen exchanged a look. Lin Xiao Fen said “Ran Ran, your mother did not want to force you. if you despise the boy, we find another. last night, your mother just worried. ”

“No, I thought, what mom said was true. people should look to the future, can not live in the past. I also am not young anymore. It’s time for marriage matter, and Lin Anjie is a good candidate. I would like to try. “Anran said calmly.

Lin Xiao Fen did not speak anymore. Looked at her eyes obviously she had concerns. although she would like Anran to fall in love and get married, but in the end she did not want Anran to make hasty decision.

Silent for a moment, the atmosphere became a little awkward, then, Gu Heng Wen spoke “Mom and Dad love you and we don’t want to oppose what path you will take”

Anran nodded, “I know. I still said Yes. I am going to work. “Then, directly she got back to the room and took the package, went to work.

Linxiao Fen looked at the re-closed door. She put down the chopsticks, and sighed. Her hand was grasped on the table by a large palm. She looked up and saw the gentle eyes her husband had with a smile in his face. He said “Do not worry. Ran Ran know what she is doing.”

Anran was busy lately. Avon Park case was beaten back time and time again. she had to change it again, but still could not do what commisioner required. She suffered for several days. Every day she ran on both the site and the office and had to came back home at night. Luckily, director opened Chrysostom which represents today’s work, artwork was finally over. She could finally go home.

Anran had not been seen Lin Anjie since the last time goodbye, but he kept sending messages. Lin Anjie could be regarded as a person who will take care of relatively simple greetings. Anran actually felt how bad their relationship is. she did not get along well with him.

Today Anran and Linan Jie would go dinner together. She was really determined to try to accept a new relationship. Marriage as a precondition for some affection.

Anran was a serious person. When she really decided to do one thing, she will seriously put a hundred percent effort to do it. For example, she did not drive today, but directly hit the car to go, so that Lin Anjie could take her home.

A place to eat was a medium restaurant. Because of traffic jams on the road, when Anran had arrived, Lin Anjie was sitting and watching menu.

“Sorry, I’m late.” Anran said apologetically. She did not explain why she was late because she would never find an excuse to justify.

Linan Jie smiled and said “Nothing, I have arrived.”

“Come.” Lin Anjie gave Anran the menu.

Anran did not think too much, took the menu, and directly called the waiter. She and her colleagues often came to this restaurant.  T-bone steak here was good. Their salad also good, but the most important was the reasonable price. Consumption would not be expensive.

“What do you want to eat?” The single point before Anran asked him specifically whether they taboos to ask. Linan Jie shook his head and said he liked her point.

Heard Anran did not say anything, he directly ordered foie gras, T-bone steak, mushroom soup and lettuce salad to the waiter. They would have a cheese cake for the dessert, and there is no wine just coffee.

They also eat this meal more pleasant. They talked about their work, the hobbies and the like, not much, but at least there was no cold field.

When it was time to checkout, Lin Anjie suddenly felt his stomach upset. He went directly to the bathroom. Anran actually knew that he was avoiding paying the meal. In fact, she already thought about him tonight, please, even if he paid the meal in a restaurant, she also set out money to put back to him. However, what he was doing now obviously made her disgusted and felt some resentment.

Anran directly bought the meal. After ten minutes she still didn’t see Lin Anjie out. Finally, she took the phone to pass the time. Lin Xiao Fen did not answer the call, but not a long after, Lin Anjie was coming out from the bathroom. He sat and said “I’m sorry. It took longer.”

Anran shook her head and asked “Is it stomach upset? Do you want to go to the hospital?”

Lin Anjie explained, “No, no. I just went to the bathroom, then a phone call came in  leading to a big conversation for a moment. ”

Anran nodded, took her bag, and said “Then we go.”

“Well, I will pay the meal.” Lin Anjie nodded, stand to walk toward the desk.

“No, I have bought the meal.” Anran stopped him.

“Uh,” Lin Anjie pretend to surprise a moment, then he said. “How could I make Ms. Gu paying the meal. How much money did you spent? I give you.” he opened his wallet and took the money.

“Next time. The next time you can ask me.” Anran smiled.

Linan Jie did not insist again. He nodded and said yes.

They went out of the restaurant. Lin Anjie suggested that they walked together because he did not park here due to parking charge fee. He parked in front of the street ten minutes away from here.

Anran nodded. Eat at night could made her gained weight so she could take it as a proper exercise after a meal.

They walked side by side and did not speak. The atmosphere became a little awkward. Anran thought that she was passive, so looking for a topic was not her strong point. However, Anran felt that she had to say something to break the solitude atmosphere around them. They went into a little bit dark street. Suddenly, a hand gripped her wrists tightly.

“Uh ……” Anran surprised and looked up. She saw Lin Anjie somewhat looked strange.

“Lin, Lin …… Lin Anjie?” Anran called him, reached out to break open his hand.

Lin Anjie looked at her, swallowed his saliva, and shoved his mouth toward Anran.

Anran scared. she wanted to push him hard but felt helpless. His strength was too much for her. Finally, she looked her side so Lin Xiao Fen’s kiss fell directly onto Anran’s cheeks. Feeling his lips touched her, Anran just felt sick.

“Let, let me go!” Anran urged him. In fact, wearing high heels, Anran height and Linan Jie almost the same. However, she felt helpless because woman’s strength was less than a man. she could not break open his grip.

“Let her go.” Suddenly heard a male cold voice behind her. in this little bit dark street, it was particularly unexpected.
