Xi Zhiyao raised his eyebrows and looked at Yun Canglan with interest.

'This was Yun Canglan? The well-known wastrel and playboy of Can Kingdom? It was said that he came out of the closet when he was but three, and began to snatch brides and grooms when he was four. He always acted in a tyrannous manner, but no one dared to challenge his behavior, because the Emperor of Can Kingdom showed great affection to him.'

Xi Zhiyao sighed to himself, it was a shame that the Dingguo Duke, the god of war, would have such a willful son.

Yun Canglan didn't care about Xi Zhiyao's thoughts. He grabbed him by the clothes and climbed on his leg.

Xi Zhiyao had been so wrapped up in his thoughts, that he hadn't noticed Yun Canglan sitting on his legs at first. He didn't like contact with others and went to push him away, but the sweet milk fragrance that radiated from Yun Canglan, drew him and he couldn't help but hold him instead.

Yun Canglan was uncomfortable being in the arms of Xi Zhiyao.

Yun Canglan touched Xi Zhiyao's face with one hand and spoke in a greedy voice: "You look so handsome. I've decided to marry you as my legal wife and keep Feng Gui as my concubine. Hahaha."

Xi Zhiyao went blank for a moment, and then turned angry that this child had molested him verbally. Suddenly he saw something on Yun Canglan's ear.

Was it, could it be, a hole in the lobe of Yun Canglan's ear?

Xi Zhiyao looked at the other ear, without Canglan noticing.

Barely visible he spotted it, a hole in that earlobe too. Yun Canglang was a girl!

"Do you agree? Don't fret, I'll be nice to you and give you a rich abundant life!" asked Yun Canglan.

"Okay!" Xi Zhiyao responded, in a gentle voice as he smiled which caught Yun Canglan by surprise.

"Zhiyao, what are you saying?" asked Feng Gui with an anxious tone in his voice. "It's better not to make such kind of jokes, even though he is only a child." Feng Gui stared at Yun Canglan in disgust.

"Are you being jealous, Feng Gui?" asked Yun Canglan, "Don't worry. I'll still be nice to you too." Yun Canglan said in a playful voice, "Zhiyao, let's seal the deal with a high five, if you are really in agreement." Yun Canglan was feeling proud of herself for her apparent advantageous position.

Xi Zhiyao agreed, "Okay, " "Let's high five!" he said as he stretched out a calloused right hand.

The calluses were earned while practicing martial arts.

"Wait a second, we also need to draw circles as well." said Yun Canglan, acting like a spoiled child.

"Draw circles?" Xi Zhiyao was confused.

"Like this!" Yun Canglan grabbed Xi Zhiyao's right hand and drew circles with a little finger on his calloused palm.

"This is called 'drawing a circle to serve as a prison'. Now you are grounded by me. Hahaha." Yun Canglan burst out laughing.

"Then I need to ground you as well!" Xi Zhiyao added. Before Yun Canglan could react, Xi Zhiyao grabbed her right hand and drew circles on her little palm.

His rough finger itched Yun Canglan's skin.

"Okay! Now we high five!" said Yun Canglan.

Yun Canglan's little hand clapped against his larger one.

Yun Canglan laughed while exclaiming childishly, "You are mine from now on. Hahaha." Xi Zhiyao merely watched Yun Canglan and smiled.

He had thought it was odd that he felt compelled and unable to refuse the five-year-old child, so when he knew Yun Canglan was a girl, his heart was wild and jumping for joy. He had never had such feelings before. Perhaps Yun Canglan was the one who would change him.

Feng Gui frowned at Yun Canglan and felt uncomfortable hearing his laughter. He said: "Zhiyao, you shouldn't joke in such a manner with a child." to Canglan he demanded, "Do you know who he is? How dare you sit on his legs!"

Feng Gui forgot the fear he felt around Yun Canglan, stepped forward and dragged him off Xi Zhiyao's lap.

Yun Canglan didn't want to get off Xi Zhiyao's lap though and held him tightly.

"Release him! You are such a playboy!" scolded Feng Gui.

"You release your hands from me! I'm a family man now. Don't get so close to me unless you intend for me to marry you too!" Yun Canglang said.

"How shameless you are!" he sputtered.

"I said I would like to take you to be kind." Yun Canglan said.

"Bastard!" he spat.

"You are pestering me!" Yun Canglan said.

"Shame on you!" Feng Gui yelled.

"Are you trying to attract my attention?" Yun Canglan asked.

"You...you are so unreasonable!" he blasted.

"You're wrong." Canglan offered calmly, "I consider myself quite a reasonable man. Come now, let's keep on chatting." Yun Canglan said.

"You...you..."

Feng Gui fainted and fell to the ground.

"Master! Master! Are you okay? Don't scare me!" the maid flung herself to the floor screaming.

"What a naughty child you are!" Xi Zhiyao looked at Yun Canglan and put her down on the ground. The sweet milk fragrance suddenly disappeared, and he felt something was missing.

Xi Zhiyao shook his head and walked towards Feng Gui. He examined the situation, before turning to talk to Yun Canglan: "He fainted, now I'm going to have to take him home."

"Okay." Yun Canglan said innocently up at him, "Don't forget, you said you would wait for me to marry you."

"I'll wait for you, yes. You, remember your promise." said Xi Zhiyao.

Then Xi Zhiyao carried Feng Gui out of the room.

Seeing his figure disappear, Yun Canglan frowned.

"Yun Qin! Yun Qi!"

Yun Canglan's cold voice called out.

There was only Yun Canglan in the room, but she kept on talking.

"Check why Xi Zhiyao is here in Can Kingdom!" demanded she.
