Coincidence Or Fate Chapter 141

As the premiere of the movie ended, Scott escorted Angelique out of the theater . The duo caught everyone's attention, as the reports and camera were all flashing at them .

"Let's go," Scott said as he grabbed hold of Angelique hands and left the scene .

"Hey Scott," Michael yelled

"Where the heck is he going?" Nino added

The two looked at each other curiously where Scott is taking Angelique . He did not say a word and just vanished into thin air .

Inside the car

It dumbfounded Angelique by the situation, she was all alone with Scott in the car . As she watched the man focus on the wheel, she did not say a word and just watched the beautiful building and night sky .

"Are you cold?" he asked

"No worries, I-" before she could finish what she was about to say, the car stop as the man's jacket landed on her shoulder . Leaving Angelique speechless and confused to Scott sudden action .

Angelique was curious where they were heading since they've been driving around the city for quite a long time now, "Where are we going?" she asked

"You'll soon see," he replied

At that moment, the car stop .

Scott got down and opened the door for Angelique, as she got down . She saw they were on the edge of the wall, next to them was a staircase heading down to the riverbank . She just followed Scott as they walked down the stairs . Below was a gondola waiting for them .

"What this?" she asked

"A gift," he replied

"What for?" she wondered

"For accompanying me," he smiled

The man then step inside the boat as he reached out his hand over to Angelique . She did not hesitate and grab a hold of the man's hand as she leaped onto the boat .

"Thank you," she said

"Sit here," he said

A boat floated down the riverbanks, Angelique was astonished to see the beautiful scenery . The different boats floating down the river, the lantern and the twilight sky shining so bright above them . The moment was just too beautiful and romantic that she was complete captivated by it .

"Angelique," he said

Angelique turned to face Scott with twinkling eyes, her beauty was so alluring that Scott forgot what he was about to say . His chest was just beating too fast that his mind went complete blank as he continued to gaze upon the girl .

"Scott, is something wrong?" she asked

"Nothing, I was just wondering if you like it?" he said

"I do, thank you…" she replied smiling from ear to ear

"I'm glad you like it," he said

As the boat reached it final destination, Scott got out of the boat first as he helps Angelique out . Unexpectedly, the boat swayed and caused Angelique to lose her balance and pushed Scott down to the ground as she went down onto him .

"Scott, I'm sorry," she said

"It's fine," he replied

"Sir are you okay?" said the man on the boat .

"We're fine," Scott replied ensuring no harm was done .

Angelique quickly got up from the ground as she helped Scott up, "I'm terribly sorry Scott,"

"I said,'' It's fine," he replied

Scott patted the girl on the head and smiled, he then grabbed her hand as went up the stairs .

Angelique felt such strange feeling inside looking at how the man holds her hands, her mind could not stop but to wonder . How she hopes it's always like this but it can't be…

"Scott, why are you doing this?" she wished to asked, "What do you really want from me? I thought you hate me but why are you being to kind to me . I thought you never wanted to see me again but why are you wasting your time with me . I hate you but why does my heart not wish to let you go? Why does my hand wish to hold you tighter?" Angelique stared at the man's hand who was holding onto hers . She did not realize it that her grip tightened as her heart ached inside .
