Coincidence Or Fate 116 Tense Reunion

Angelique grab the tower to wipe off the sweat all over her, she took a deep breath before answering Annie back, "I'm fine, I'm just a little worn out from last night since you know I didn't get some rest."

"Jordon here..." a voice said

Everyone on stage including Annie and Angelique turned around to Jordon direction, as usual, all the staff greeted him and was pleased to see him again. They've known Jordon was Angelique biggest support, without him they won't be Angelique right now. Angelique came down the stage and walked closer to Jordon.

"Why are you here?" she asked

Jordon looked concern for a moment if whether he should tell her, "His back..."

It surprises Jordon that Angelique did not react at all, "Oh- and?"

"Well... He called me to ask everyone to go out to dinner tonight. Since he had been away for a long time, he wanted to celebrate the new year." Jordon explained

"Then let's go..." she replied

"Ange, are you sure you're okay with this?" he asked

"Of course, He'll only bully anyway but that doesn't matter anymore. It's a new year, I don't care what he does in life if he's still the devil until now then be it. Anyway, I have you all the time to protect me." she replied

Jordon became speechless after hearing Angelique words, he wonders what could have changed her all of the sudden. She was like a whole different person than before, could it had anything to do back when they were in Malaysia. But he recalls that when they came back she became all broken, so what could have caused these changes?

"I'll ask the director now so we can go home, and I can get change," she added

"Alright..." he shortly replied

As soon as Angelique walked away, Annie walked closer towards him, "You notice it too..."

"Of course," he replied

"Has she told you?" she asked

"Tell me what?" he wondered

Annie sighed, "Then it's not the right time. I'm sure she'll tell you eventually just take care of her tonight, don't let her get too drunk she has practice tomorrow as well."

Jordon ponders on what Annie could mean by that, he wonders what Angelique was hiding from him. The fact she has kept no secrets from him, he let it passed as he saw the girl walking back towards him.

In one of the fancy restaurant in London.

Everyone was seated around the table as they all gather around and waited for Scott to arrive.

"How long has it been since we last saw him?" Corey asked

"Well, for me it's over 8 months I think," Toby said

"Ange how are you feeling, you looked quite pale right now?" Jamie asked who was seated by her side.

Jordon looked at her as well who was seated at her other side, "Ange, is something wrong?"

"Maybe I'm just a little worn out from practice," she replied

But before they all could express their concern at Angelique, a cold presence approached them all.

"I hope you all have not waited long."

They all turned around to the person walking towards them, it surprises them to see him with someone for the first time. It didn't please any of them to see him with a woman holding onto his arms.

"Scott, it's good to see you." Corey tried to smile despite his upset about the situation.

"Scott I see you brought someone with you," Toby asked

"Everyone, this is Joe Chen," he answered them all.

"Miss Angelique, it's good to see you again," Joe said as she runs towards her

Angelique got up from her seat and greeted her, "Same, it's nice to see you again."

Seeing that Angelique greeted Joe, it didn't take long for Jordon to realized what happened. Not only that, Jamie too figured out why he saw Jordon and Angelique that night. That weird feeling he felt for Jordon that night soon disappeared.

"Ange, I didn't know you knew her already," Jamie asked

"Accidentally we meet at the airport on the day she arrived here" Joe explained

"Alright, let not talk too long, Ange still needs to rest. Scott why not sit down with your partner already so we can eat." Jordon said

"Jordon right, Ange looking quite pale earlier. It's best we talk next time Miss Chen so Ange could go home and rest." Jamie added

It surprises Corey and Toby to see the two protect Angelique, what shocks them more is the fact the Scott even agreed to it and seat on his chair as he called for the waiter. The two looked at each other confused about the situation on whether if they should join in or not. The tension between the five of them can be felt all over the room.

"Scott it's too early to rest, why don't we all hang out for a while after dinner," Joe asked

"I don't mind but as you see Angelique needs to rest they said," he replied

"Come now Miss Angelique, we won't stay long. I'm really eager to get to know you," she explained

But before Angelique could reply it shock everyone when someone else answered for her.

"She not well to stay out tonight," Jamie said

"She has practice tomorrow," Jordon said at the same time.

Scott clenched his fit that was on his lap, Joe notice it and felt worried about the situation. She did not expect that it was not only Scott how loves her, but the two gentlemen as well in front of them does as well. But she was confused about Jamie though since Scott explained he was gay yet she can clearly see that he loves her. What's worst was that she was Angelique first love.

Angelique smiled after seeing the two responded for her, "Miss Chen, what Jordon and Jamie said is true. We can hang out next time if you excuse me it's best if I go ahead already."

She then grabs her bag as Jordon got up his chair as well and escorted her out of the table. At the same time, Jamie also excused himself since he still has work tonight.

The four of them were left at the table since Angelique was no longer around, Toby who was always frank and has a bad mouth didn't hold back, "You know you deserve this right, Scott?"

"I know..."

"Then why did you even bring the b*tch here and even showed her in front of all of us?" he asked

"Toby..." Corey said as he tried to ease the situation.

"I didn't know..." he replied

Joe Chen felt upset and excused herself from the table, she expected things would end up this way but she didn't expect Scott would still feel that way for her.
