Coincidence Or Fate Chapter 118

Angelique just came out from her culinary class with Jose . The two of them were on their way to the shop to check on things . On their way to the shop, an unexpected car stop beside them .

"Miss Angelique," Joe said as she came down the car .

"Miss Joe, what are you doing here?" she asked, surprised to see her all of the sudden .

"I was hoping to spend time with you since we could not hang out last night . " She smiles, and notice a guy standing by her side, "A friend of yours?"

"Jose, this is Joe Chen she Scott's friend," she said

"Hi," Jose said looking not too friendly towards the girl

"Angelique, how about I give you two a lift to where your heading," she said

"No need Joe . . . " Angelique smiled

"Yeah, I can of prefer to walk rather take some stranger's car that I just meet," Jose said shocking Angelique .

"Ange, I see who are indeed surrounded with so many guys that care about you . " she said

"They are my friends Joe . " she replied

"For you maybe, but do they see it that way? Am I right Jose?" she said staring directly at him .

"I don't know what you're talking about . Anyway, Ange, we need to go . " Jose said trying to avoid the subject .

"Ange, before you go can you help me with something," Joe asked

Angelique was in a dilemma of what to do, she didn't want to be rude towards her since Jose was already treating her badly . "Sure what is?"

"Stay away from Scott . . . " she directly said to Angelique causing her to freeze on the spot .

"Excuse me?" Angelique was dumbfounded

"I'm asking you to stay away from Scott since you can't seem to move on from all the grudges in the past and can't let go of him . I'm asking you as a friend of Scott to stay away from him," she explained

"Joe I don't get you . " she laughed, "Of course, I wish to stay away from him but what can I do if fate won't let us . "

"Then fight fate and stay away from him," she replied

"Girl, I think you said too much . Anyway, it's not Ange who should stay away but that jerk . " Jose joined in the conversation .

"Ange, if you can be with him or you can't admit being with anyone then for goodness' sake stop hurting people," Joe said

"Hurting people, what are you talking about?"

"You may not see it but you're hurting the people around you . You think you're so good and innocent yet you're killing them inside . Stop hurting Scott, I like him and I wish to be with him but I can't because of you . I feel sorry for him every time I see him looking all depressed because of you . "

"There are times he won't sleep because his wondering if you're alright . I don't care if he'll hate me for saying this but please enough . How long are you planning to keep this up? How long are you planning to live in this fantasy world that every guy loves you? Face the reality you must end there pain . "

"Miss Chen, I'm sorry . . . I need to go . " Angelique said as she walked away leaving both of them .

"I was right not to like you," Jose said as he went and followed Angelique .

Joe sighed as she watched the girl walked away . "Scott, I tried my best but it seems it's still up to you . "

She got back on her car and drove away, she could not help and ponder what pain the girl is carrying right now . To think she was able to smile despite all the harsh words she said .
