Coincidence Or Fate 12 Chapter 12 - Contrac

I walked to the receptionist and asked for direction to Mr. Davis office. She was happy enough to take me there. As we head to his office I notice people staring at me. The fact I'm just in ny casual attire made me feel embarrass. We reach Mr. Davis office and she then knocked at the door.

"Mr. Davis you have a guest."

"Come in."

She opened the door for me and I walked inside. The room was filled with different artist poster and records. The interior of the room were simple tone of grey and silver. Mr. Davis was on the phone when I got inside so I did not move and stayed still near the doorway. When he was finish with his call he looked at me. "Ange please sit down."

I sat down on the chair then a lady enter the room and brought in some snacks and drinks. I was so nervous that I realise I forgot to thank the girl who helped me earlier. My hand were trembling and my legs were shaking. I could hear my heart beat beating so fast and the room seems like its spinning around.

"Ange are you alright?" he asked as he sat down on one of the chair.

I was to tense and could not look at him at all. I tried to answer by words wont come out of my mouth properly. "I'm... Well... you... see.."

"Don't be nervous, I promise you everything will be smooth sailing remember?"

"Yeah."

"Anyways, this is the contract I've prepare for you. Take you time to read it." As he hand over the contract to me. I started reading the content of the contract careful making sure every single details are clear to me. The offers weren't bad at all, they are offering me 4 years contract which was fine with me since I don't even know how long I planned to stay on this path. While I continued reading the contract Mr. Davis got up and called someone. I tried avoid looking at him to so he wont thinking I'm being nosy.

Before I could sign the contract I started asking Mr. Davis some question. Specially since the fact I'll be opening up my own business soon at the same time, I'm still attending school, time management was my biggest concern. "Mr. Davis I do wish to inform you since I'm still in the progress in finish my education I hope there wont be any conflict at all."

He ended the call and sat down again. "Not at all, for now since you education is your priority will be schedule recording when your free."

Since I mentioned about my studies, I also informed him about my business plans that I didn't want my entertainment career to get involve with it. I want it to be a secret at all. Once he have answered all question and ensure me that my personal life will not be affected badly. I signed the contract and shake his hands.

"Welcome to the family"

"I'll be in your care Mr Davis."

While I enjoy a brief conversation with Mr. Davis, he informed me about the 2 song writer he has assigned for me. I became curious of how they would look like and there personality. Since people will always have different point of view when it come to this stuff.

Then suddenly someone knocked at the door and I could hear a man voice from the other end. They slowly opened the door and step in 2 gentlemen. Mr. Davis got up and went to greet them. "Jason, Harry this is Angelique the girl I mentioned to you yesterday."

As we entered the room and was greeted by Mr. Davis. I notice a beautiful girl sat on the chair. Despite how she is dress, she was still attractive to look at. "Angelique, nice to meet you."

"Hi!" Jason said

Mr. Davis escorted them to sit in the middle sofa between us. "Since we are all here lets get down to business then shall we." I didn't not say anything when Mr. Davis was informing them about myself. But the next part of their conversation shocked me. "I've already shown them a short clip of your singing last time Angelique. So you don't need to worry about needing to impress them at all."

I was dumbfound from what I just heard, my mind suddenly went blank and my face started to turn red. "Wait, what video?"

Harry patted my back and stared at me. His eye gave a warm feeling and the way he looks at me is saying he was satisfied from what he had seen. "Don't worry you were great. The best part you even looked better in real life."

"Like he said." Jason added

I was embarrass from there sudden comment about me. I couldn't answer them and just nodded my head.

"Anyways, since they have already started composing for you we can start recording within this week. What do you think?"

Jason looked at Harry to confirm his all good. Then Harry gave Mr. Davis a big thumbs up. I looked at them and nodded to confirm I was ready as well even though I was still feeling anxious deep inside.

"We might start tomorrow then since Angelique still have work at the bar." Mr. Davis said

I saw Harry disappointed face when he heard what Mr Davis just said. In regards to my work I actually forgot to inform Mr Davis. So I explained to them that I've quit my job and Harry face light up.

"So I really am free today already and I'll just need to go to the bar later to say farewell to everyone."

"Well, since we do still have some time. Why don't you try it out and see how things goes. Try checking the song that they've made for now see if it suit you taste."

"I will Mr. Davis and thank you again" As I got up and politely gave him a bow.

"So, I'll live you both to take care of Angelique then. If you have any problem with them just tell me."

"I will..."
