"Hello?"

"Where are you?" the man on the other end said

Angelique body trembled after hear the familiar voice, she tried to stay calm and avoid anyone from noticing her, "What do you want Scott?"

"I need to talk to you about what Joe did earlier," he said

"No need to worry, she did nothing wrong," she replied as she received the towel Annie gave her.

The man on the other end sighed as he felt the girl is trying to avoid him, "I'll be at your main shop in an hour. I'll be waiting..."

"Wh Wait..." But before she could say anything further the call has ended, she became furious that Scott just hung up on her before she could say something.

"Ange, is something wrong?" Harry said as he approached her.

"Nothing, I just need to go to the main shop later," she replied

"Then I'll drive you there," he said

Angelique was a little hesitant in letting Harry drive her to the shop, but since I'll be closing hours already she was at ease that there won't be many people there.

At Angelique's Main Branch

Scott just arrived and was greeted by Corey.

"What are you doing here?" Corey asked

"I need to talk to her..." he said

"Are you insane, Jose is here and his not happy of what Joe did this morning," he explained

"I don't care about him, I just need to talk to her." Scott calmly said

At that exact moment, Angelique and Harry were stepping in inside the shop. Harry could not control his feeling towards Scott and gave him an unfriendly looked.

"What the f*ck is he doing here?" he said

"I could say the same," Scott said giving him the same unfriendly look.

Angelique sighed as the situation got worse when Joe came out from the back kitchen.

"What the f*ck are you here for? Are you here to hurt Angelique more?" Jose said heads towards Scott

"What do you mean?" Harry said

"This *sshole girlfriend or whatever came to Ange this morning and badmouthed her," Jose said

Harry was not pleased to what happened, he then grabs Scott by the collar and gave him a fierce look, "You better leave here..."

"Or what?" Scott replied

Corey again was in a dilemma if whether or not he should butt in. His really not the type of person to get involved in others problem. As he watches the three guys continue to quarrel amongst themselves, Angelique was already heading out to the door as we speak.

"Well, Scott I guess you should leave since Ange left already," Corey said shocking the three of them.

Harry turned around and indeed Angelique was no longer by his side, he quickly runs out of the store to look for her. As for Jose, he went back to the kitchen since Angelique was no longer around as well, leaving Corey to handle Scott.

"Happy?" Corey asked

Scott did not say a word but he was furious of what just happened, he did not expect things would end up this way.

"Scott a word of advice; if you want to be with her tell her, but if you continue on just playing around with her let her go. You see there are other willing to be with her..." Corey explained as he went back to his work.

Scott got out of the shop and went back to his car. As he seated on the driver's seat, he punched the wheel as he recalled what happened earlier. To think they treated him like that, even his closest friends are telling him to butt out of Angelique life.

He grabs his phone and called someone, "Where are you?"

"Somewhere away from all the drama..." the woman on the other end replied

"Ange, stop fooling other and tell me where you are." He yelled

"Why must I tell you Scott, who are you exactly in my life?" she yelled back at him causing him to paused and mute at the same time.

Scott calm down as he changed his way of talking towards the girl, "Ange, please... let's talk."

"Scott, if you are worried that I was offended by what Joe said don't be. Also, I'm fine... I was more worried that Jose might have offended her." she continued to explain what happened earlier.

Scott continued to listen to the girl, whilst he was listening to her soft voice he could not help but smile and felt warm hearing her after a long time. Despite things aren't great between them now, he felt like as if they were back in Malaysia.

"Since your fine, then I won't bother you then..." he replied

At the same time, Angelique was on the bus heading home. She just finished her call with Scott and was shocked that he did not pester her at all. Instead, he was talking gently towards her and at the same time, he actually listened. Angelique clenched her phone as she felt a strange feeling inside, she did not know if whether she should cry or scream. Her mind was a mess after talking to Scott who would have thought that her feeling for him was this strong.
