Warlord of Chaos Chapter 73: The Strong

They sat down in a circle beside the red fireplace, the raging burning of flame drove away both darkness and chilliness. The room was quite small, and was built by inferior materials with poor structure, the same like other farm houses in this village. Even the fireplace was built by themselves after they bought this house for that they had no idea how long they would wait here.

Han Jin sat in silence, pondering something, while the others all stared at him, waiting for his answer about their next plan, to stay here, or to somewhere else, which was put forward by Sunier.

"To be frank, our luck is not that good." Han Jin said with a smile, "We always encounter all kinds of troubles. I even have a feeling of being forced and on the run."

They all showed bitter smiles when hearing this, manifestingtheir agreement with what he had said. From Radon Town to the Isolated Cliff City, they hardly had a peaceful life and kept running from one place to another.

"Have you noticed thatin this world, there is something that can deprive others of lives and properties randomly?" Han Jin said in a slow way.

"You mean power." Sunier let out a sigh.

"In fact, it is the same everywhere. You told methe Isolated Cliff City was a safe place. But what happened? I am not asking you to be awake, but at least, you must not be ignorant anymore!"Han Jin continued, "Wherever we go, the result will be the same."

"Raphael, what on earth do you want to say?" Cessacioun asked in a low voice.

"They can speak by sword, and it has become the rule of this world, why can't us?"Han Jin paused, "You don't want to live a struggled life all the time, do you? So why don't you change your mind and way of living?!"

"Why I feel that... you want to confront the owners of the territories?" Sunier made a wry smile. Not everyone could speak by sword. It's the privilege for the territory owners who were in possession of all major powers. Wherever you were, you must obey the rules there. And now, Han Jin had made it clear that he wanted to have his own right of speech and make his own rules.

"If we are really confident about ourselves, why can't we?"Han Jin asked back.

Everyone was transfixed. Han Jin was too arrogant about it. To confront the owners of those territories by themselves? He must be mad.

"Raphael, you don't understand what territory owner means." Sunier explained slowly, "For instance,Lord Dismark, the owner of Holy Crown City, is a Supreme Knight himself. He has over one hundred generals and a group of magicians with two hundred members! We were allies in the past, so I know this clearly. Now, you said... you want to lead us to fight with people like him? It is not about confidence, it isabout madness!"

"We have difference in terms of the definition of confidence." Han Jin replied lightly, "Confidence does not mean that we think ourselves strong, but the belief of becoming strong!"

"Becoming strong? As strong as Dismark??" Sunier laughed.

"I have thought a lot these days. In this world full of chaos, even survival is not an easy thing." Han Jin said in a low tone, "Ho ho... The weak can't live a decent life, the strong can't die a natural way, destiny, is a choice between them!"

What he said was, to some extent, pessimistic and solemn, but successfully switched the topic of whether to resort to weapons into making a choice between the strong and the weak.

Cessacioun's eyes also lit up. It was true. Han Jin mastered a unique kind of magic that could help him to become a supreme strong together with time and effort! The only way to live a happy and decent life in this world was to have power, all kinds of power. As long as one was strong enough himself and had strong accompanies to protect him, no one could threaten him anymore.

Sunier suddenly burst out laughter, rocking forwards and backwards and was nearly out of breath.

What they had experienced in the past determined what they would react now. Moxinke was a reckless and impulsive young man with poor experience before, thus he stood up the first to support Han Jin. Cessacioun was much calmer, but he was still attracted by Han Jin's special magic, for this reason, he also chose to support him.

But unlike them, Sunier had much more painful past. She had once participated in the epic guerrilla war and survived from the pile of the dead. Thus, it was not easy to persuade her. But the fact was, Han Jin had never expected to persuade her. As long as she did not object to it firmly, he was confident to let her see the hope by actions.

"What are you laughing at?" Moxinke asked unpleasantly.

"More than serious. And I have done a lot for this." Han Jin paused, "Do you know why the knights would wait us there before we enteredinto the territory of the Holy Crown City when we were escorting the military supplies?"
