As the gate opened, it revealed a spacious courtyard . There were seven to eight people standing around a table discussing something . Upon hearing the noise, all of them turned around at the same time, revealing expressions of shock and happiness once they saw Yalina .

“Second brother!” Yalina rushed over, and tears started filling up in her eyes .

Han Jin and the others, who were following behind, couldn't help but look at each other . They never would have thought that the cold Yalina actually had such an impulsive side .

Amongst them, there was a young man wearing a black magic robe who looked the most excited . He gently hugged Yalina and loudly laughed . “Haha! I knew it you would be alright . It's impossible for those garbage to be able to hurt our talented girl!”

“Second brother!” Yaline choked . “How come you're here?”

“Of course I had to come! How can I not come after what has happened?!” The young man in the black magic robe became even angrier as he explained himself . “I can't believe Father actually kept it from me . If it wasn't because of Gail who silently told me, I wouldn't have known about it until now!”

“Uncle Gail?” Yalina stunned .

” You… How come you're here?!” After seeing the old man, Yalina's expression became even more surprised, and she even used a respectful form of speech . From what she remembered, Majordomo Gail had never left her father's side; he was like her father's most faithful shadow .

“Second master has never traveled far alone, and I just couldn't rest assured . So I decided to secretly come along with him . ” The old man helplessly smiled .

“Yalina, Let me introduce you . ” The young man in the black magic robe moved slightly to the side . “This is Nildak, and this is Milon; they are both…”

“You're from the Eagle Clan?” Actually, even without Edison's introduction, Yalina could already recognize them from the almost identical customised magic armor .

” Yes, Miss,” both the soldiers replied respectfully .

“Haha, the truth is, we used to be enemies . ” The young man in black rob laughed and smacked one of the soldiers on the shoulder twice . “Father had me on house arrest, and these two were responsible for watching over me . They didn't cut me any slack; they wouldn't let me out no matter how hard I tried to convince them . However, when I found out about what happened to you, I patiently talked to them for an entire night . Haha, under my righteous persuasion, they were willing to come to Isolated Cliff City with me!”

” Second Brother… you…” Yalina sighed helplessly .

“What's wrong?” The young man in the black robe was taken aback .

Han Jin and the others were carefully observing them . The Majordomo named Gail, along with the two soldiers, had a graceful and poised aura, along with a look of arrogance albeit humble . It was obvious that they aren't ordinary people . These kinds of characters would actually be convinced with a few words and bear the risk of being accused of betraying the Duke of Solomon, leaving their families behind, to follow a young man all the way here to Isolated Cliff City? That is impossible! That would be a provocation to the authority of the Duke of Solomon, and may even be considered as a subversion!

It would be too naive to be complacent about these kinds of things . In the beginning, Han Jin and the others were a little confused; why was there such a drastic difference between the Duke of Solomon's attitude toward his two sons? But now, the picture seemed clearer; it would be that both of the sons were completely different in the ways in which they dealt with things, be it their temperament or their wisdom . Well, at the least, the Duke of Solomon did not consider his second son to be qualified to inherit his assets .

“I don't want to talk to you!” Yalina rolled her eyes at the young man and turned towards Majordomo Gail . “Uncle Gail…”

The old man shuddered and hurriedly waved his hands . “Miss, please don't do this; just directly call me by my name . ”

“Uncle Gail, why are you so nervous?” Yalina blinked . “Are you hiding the good stuff?”

Upon hearing what Yalina said, Gail appeared even more anxious and forcefully squeezed a smile . “Miss, you know how little of a fortune I have . How could I have any of the good stuff?”

Edison laughed and said, “Stop being so hard on Chief Gail . You wouldn't be able to imagine how worried we were on the way here . Thank God you're back . If you hadn't come back, we would have entered Tarsaha Mountain to find you . ”

“It should be that it's fortunate I held you back, or else, Young Master would have directly rushed into the mountains . ” Although Edison had helped him out earlier, Gail hadn't really appreciated it .

Edison looked awkward and said, “Well, I was just worried . ”

Yalina was apparently taking the side of her brother, and held on to her brother's arm while wrinkling her nose at Gail . “This just proves that he cares about me . ”

The jaws of Han Jin and the others hit the floor as they stared at Yalina . Who would have thought that Yalina had this cheerful side to her . Looking at how Yalina was snuggling up to Edison, even Moxinke couldn't believe his own eyes . Was this still the iceberg magus that they knew?

In fact, this was actually pretty normal . Yalina was an iceberg beauty in the academy because she hated the harassment she would receive from others . But if she was to also wear a mask in front of her own family, it would be too boring to live . Plus, she was the pride of the sky; other than her father, who was always too far to reach, and a hypocritical big brother, everyone around her loved and took care of her . She was surrounded by her blood-related family, and behind her were her partners through life and death . There wasn't anything for her to hide .

Edison's gaze fell on Han Jin and asked Yalina, “Are these your friends?”

Yalina then only remembered that Han Jin and the others had been behind her the entire time . Her face turned red as she remembered the scene that had happened before this . She even couldn't look at HanJin's direction and told Edison, “If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be able to see Second Brother anymore . ”

Edison's face instantly became serious, and he saluted to Han Jin and the rest . “Thank you to each of you for taking care of my sister along the way . If there's anything for which I can be of help in the future, just let me know, and I will definitely be there!”

Han Jin smiled . Instead of returning the gesture, he just waved his hands and said, “You don't have to be so polite . Since we're friends, it's unnecessary for you to say this . ”

Han Jin's attitude seem normal to the men of the Reapers Mercenary Team . It would only be possible for a dragon slayer to return the gesture even though they were the elders of the Capital of Elements . Moxinke and the others, who had always been with Han Jin, along with the soldiers of the Mercenary of Red Vanguard, had long been accustomed to Han Jin's strength and did not realize that there was something wrong .

However, Edison's men were furious . Firstly, they didn't understand how Han Jin had played a major role in recent developments . Secondly, Han Jin was too young, and it was impossible for anyone to give him enough importance .

A man with a fighter badge coldly said, “Such arrogance! Do you even know who's standing right in front of you? Young master is the…”

Was Yalina angry? Edison scratched his head and felt even more confused . Although he knew that his sister had always had a temper, this was the first time that he had seen her being so protective towards an outsider .

The fighter's face went red and pale, but he couldn't say anything . Among the people there, he was only responsible for running errands – almost similar to a servant; the fact that he didn't immediately faint at the sight of Yalina's sudden outburst already took a lot of perseverance .

“Forget it Yalina . It's not a big deal,” Han Jin softly said .

Both Edison and Gail's hearts shrank at the same time . They knew that whenever Yalina was angry, the only thing they could do was to keep quiet . If they ever tried to talk her out of if, it would be like adding oil to a burning fire . However, at this moment, the most shocking thing happened .

Yalina unexpectedly turned her head and snorted . “Lucky for you . ” Then, she raised a smile and said, “Second brother, hand over your magic crystals!”

“Oh . ” Edison subconsciously took out magic crystals from his space ring as he was still confused about how his sister had suddenly become so obedient . But then he soon realized that something was wrong . “Why do you need these magic crystals for? I don't have any high-end ones, so these are useless to you . ”

Yalina rolled her eyes at Edison . “How would you know if they're useless or not?” Edison was also a magician . Even without much power, his status was still there . There were at least dozens of colorful magical crystals that were taken out . “Why do you need fifth-grade magic crystals?” Edison asked out of curiosity . This sister of his had never even cared about seventh or eighth-grade magic crystals . Why did she suddenly take on such a large interest in fifth-grade magic crystals?

Moxinke, Cessacioun and the rest who were standing at the side looked at Han Jin with a weird look; even Sunier glared at Han Jin, her eyes showing that the situation was self-explanatory . As Han Jin noticed everyone's gaze on him, he could only smile to himself . Since when did this girl start to worry about his affairs? As he thought about it, he couldn't help but look at Sunier . He was confronted by Sunier's smile, but her eyes were not smiling .
