Chapter 627 – Dangerous Backer of Olympians

Ares was one of the twelve supreme gods of Olympus. As the son of Zeus, he inherited his father's fierceness, bloodlust, and wild sides.

He sneered at Adam and Fu Daotian, "Two King Pieces are welcoming me at once? Seriously, do Fuxi and Nuwa have nobody else but you two?"

Ares laughed and expanded his Providence Law Domain of War God. Adam and Fu Daotian also used theirs and clashed against Ares head-on.

A mild shockwave reached the chain network. The Demon King Castle shook, and dirt fell from the ceiling.

Miaomiao frowned. He flew out of the castle and stared into the sky.

"Someone is fighting."

Even though he couldn't see everything clearly, he sensed the presence of multiple deities and immortals in the void in the direction that he had been staring.

Miaomiao reopened his quest menu to see what Heavenly Dao had in store for him. He also checked the system feature.

This system mode could pinpoint evildoers within your vicinity. Killing evildoers will net you positive karma points and extra bounty rewards, such as cryptocurrency tokens, Heavenly Dao Merit, and other goodies. Also, you can rob 10% of red-named players' EXP, gold coins, and items after you have killed them.

Villain Hunting Mode is exclusive to sentries, guards, and laws-keeping NPCs, including storyline NPCs. As the game progresses, player-killers, toxic players, and NPCs from evil factions will run rampant. It is your job to purge these evildoers and keep them at bay before they could terrorize the peaceful society of Pangu Online 2.

As you are familiar with Protagonist Hunting Quests, chasing and killing villains should be easy for you. Try to activate Villain Hunting Mode and get familiarized with it since you will use this mode very often in the future.

Miaomiao sensed a déjà vu.

Soon after he had first arrived in this universe, the system introduced him to the Protagonist Hunting quests and forced him to kill Xie Tian.

Now, Pangu did something ironic. He wanted Miaomiao to hunt villains instead.

Miaomiao had no problem with that. After all, Pangu's rewards were more generous, and the quests didn't threaten to terminate his existence.

Since Pangu had been kind to him so far, Miaomiao had no reason to decline the quest. Moreover, he was curious what a [Knight Chess Piece] could do.

After getting the response, Miaomiao was sure that Samael might have regained his conscience or consciousness, but he couldn't do anything other than move Miaomiao's eyebrow.

To test things out, Miaomiao tried another question.

However, in a few failed timelines, Kishin Douji, who retained his old memory, proactively hunted Devil. The latter sought help from his former enemies, such as Eve, Gaea, and Uranus, and he had a skirmish against hostile Olympian Gods to prove his abilities.

Devil fought against Ares, and he easily defeated the God of War.

But when Devil fought against Hephaestus, he was one-sidedly beaten because of the latter's artifacts, which sealed the power of time and negated Devil's Providence Law Domains.

All weaponry of Olympians was provided by Hephaestus, the God of Blacksmith and Craftsmen. He was also known as Vulcan, the Dao God of Blacksmith.

The heaven-grade Basilisk King Daggers that Ma Moxi had been using were also made by Hephaestus!

Miaomiao opened his eyes. He had a theory.

"Samael. Are you afraid that Ares is using Hephaestus' artifacts?"
