Xie Xuanyuan turned to his other sons next to him.

The two deities snickered, "We're not in your eyes, eh?"

The father shook his head, "Among you three, Qingtian is the strongest and the youngest. Of course, it's normal to give him preferential treatment. As for you two, you have already bound your souls to our heirloom artifacts to prolong your lifespan. Why should I shorten my lifespan to protect you, weaklings? You talentless short-lived fools have no qualification to be my backup body."

"We know."

The two aides waved their arms, and the destroyed buildings were restored. The furniture, the people, and the environment were reverted back to normal. Even the jade plate was repaired.

Xie Xuanyuan continued the meeting as if nothing had happened, "Send someone to the 12th initiate peak. Make sure to report directly to me when Mao Miaomiao comes out of seclusion. Also, I shall attend the next initiate examination to see that kid."

The patriarch's eyes revealed his greed, "I want his Time-Space secrets!"

Miaomiao and Xie Tian looked at each other. The latter mustered his courage and asked Miaomiao for another favor.

"According to the second timeline, by this time, Xie Xuanyuan and my father should have a fallout because of my death, and my father will be trapped inside Xie Xuanyuan's dantian space. Xie Xuanyuan will attempt to brainwash my father and steal his lifespan next. But then, Devil will show up and raid the clan, rescuing my father in the process. However, in this timeline, Devil has been captured by a sage."

Xie Tian worried about his father's fate. As the events of this timeline differed from the second timeline, he planned to take action instead of waiting for Devil's help.

Even so, Miaomiao believed in the decision of a protagonist. It was his storyline, so there was no need to hinder it.
