The others also got unique pills, which could either enhance what they already had or give them a new power.

Something terrified them there. Everybody's faces were pale.

The entrance portal was located a kilometer above the central plate. The newcomers sensed that the square plate's gravity was pulling them toward it.

Being wary of the platform, Xiahou Dun sent his command, "Retreat! Leave this dimension!"

Xiahou Yuan and Xiahou Dun attempted to leave this plane, but they couldn't pass through the entrance portal.

Their bodies were blocked by something!

Then, they heard a loud archaic voice of an elderly man.

'No one can leave until the Selection Tournament Qualifier Round is over!'

Xiahou Dun and others were shocked. They gazed at the corpses at the center platform and looked around, searching for the origin of the voice.

'If you feel like challenging my game early, step on the platform. If you wish to wait for the real thing, pick a rock somewhere and wait like the others. Of course, no fighting.'

Then, everyone heard the mysterious elder's voice again.

'Tile Number 37,539! Devil Heart Challenge! You have ten incense sticks time to wake up, or your heart devil will kill you!'

As soon as Xiahou Dun heard the voice, he understood why the others avoided the center platform.

"What kind of Tournament Selection is this!?"

An hour later, Ma Moxi and other representatives of Siren City entered the portal.

When they entered this dimension, they were in the same situation as Xiahou Dun and his men – They looked around in confusion.

A few seconds later, they also heard the same archaic voice of a mysterious old man.

Miaomiao looked at everyone in confusion.

"What's wrong?"

Ma Moxi had a wry smile on his face, "That place… seems dangerous."

Miaomiao gazed at the center platform and frowned. He found several remains and corpses of random cultivators and golems. He also saw a dead cyclop on a red tile with a bloody battered body.

Having no clue, Miaomiao turned to Uriel, asking him with his eyes.

Meanwhile, Uriel turned around and closed the portal. Then, he clapped his hands.

"Now that every contestant has entered my secret plane, we shall start the Aves Continent Selection Tournament Qualifier Round now!"

Liu Xuande, Ling Tianlong, Yan Liang, Wen Chou, and Huang Hansheng stopped meditating and looked at the archangel.

"This qualifier round is simple. Each of you has to fight on the center platform until 99 of you remain. The 99 remaining fighters will be qualified for the real Selection Tournament. As for the rest, you will be disqualified. Also, you cannot submit, surrender, or give up when the qualifier round starts."

This qualifier round seemed similar to a battle royal. However, Miaomiao felt like he was at a disadvantage as his enemies might have already formed an alliance while they were waiting for him.

Moreover, no one could surrender or give up during the match! It was a death game!

But Uriel continued to explain the game rules.
