"Young Master, I thought you won't be back until noon. Why are you home so early today? Did you cancel the meeting?"

Asked Bun while looking at the clock on the wall, which showed that it was only a few minutes past 10.

Charles Mu did went to the company and had two meetings in a row, and he finished them as quickly as he could. It's his engagement day, and he could no longer contain himself.

That's why he ended those meetings hastily and then headed straightly back home.

Charles Mu nodded as he stared at Linda who were sitting in front of the mirror. She did not normally wear any make-ups, and therefore this time she looked extremely stunning with the make-up on. Even Charles Mu couldn't look away.

"And by the way, Bun. You just said you forgot something. What was that?" asked Paul.

They still had time before the party. And Paul thought if Bun forgot anything, he could help her. It was Young Maser's engagement day, and thus nothing should go wrong in such a big day.

"Well..."

With a sudden blush, Bun seemed a little bit embarrassed.

"What is it?"

"It's kind of awkward to say..."

"..." Paul looked completely puzzled.

"Bun, what exactly did you forget? Just tell us." Linda was confused as well.

"My Lady... Are you sure that you want me to say this?" Bun glanced at Charles Mu and Paul with obvious hesitation in her eyes.

"Just spit it out..."

Linda didn't understand why Bun faltered... She simply didn't see the point in Bun's hesitation.

But Linda was proved wrong once Bun started to talk. And she only wished there had been a hole on the ground for her to hide into.

"I forgot to prepare the strapless bra for Lady Linda. And the dress doesn't go with straps..."

Linda didn't know what to say, Neither did Charles Mu. And of course, Paul widened his eyes in surprise as well.

"Alright, I'll go buy it."

Charles Mu slightly curled his lips while looking at Linda with a glint of teasing in his eyes.

Linda felt a little uncomfortable about being gazed upon by Charles Mu. It felt like he was stripping off her clothes with his aggressive eyes as he glanced over her body.

Bun looked at Linda and then turned back to Charles Mu, "That's great. I suppose Lady Linda wears B cup. Make sure you get the right size. It's 75B. Lady Linda is quite petite after all."

"B?"

"Right. What's the matter, Young Master? Are you doubting my judgement?"

"I certainly am."

Bun retorted, "I'm also a woman. And I have never been wrong about such a matter. And I'm sure Lady Linda is about my size!"

However, Charles Mu merely took the key from Paul and went toward the front door. And he shouted back at Bun while walking, "Remember, your Lady Linda is a C! !"

Bun wouldn't dare talk back this time, and she could only muttered with a pout, "How do you know? Humph! You are being mean."

Though Bun was whispering under her breath, somehow Charles Mu did hear her complains. And so he turned around with a long face and said fiercely, "How could I not know? I have touched them myself. Did you ever touch them?"

Initially, Linda had been enjoying this hilarious dialogue, but her face immediately began to burn when she realized what Charles Mu just said.

Linda was about to scold him, but he was striding toward the door before she could say anything.

He was such a jerk...

It annoyed Linda so much that he always make her embarrassed, especially when they were not alone! !

Following Charles Mu, Paul left the villa too. Only that they were driving different cars and heading in opposite directions.

It suddenly occurred to Linda that her foster mother Donna Xie was still in hospital, and Linda had promised to pick her up for the party. Then she turned to Bun, "Bun, could you send someone to pick up my mother for me in the afternoon?"

Bun answered with a chuckle, "Don't you see Paul is on his way to the hospital?"

"Really? But I never mention it to him!"

"Haha, I have talked to him last night. Mrs. Xie was your foster mother after all, and so I thought it would be better if Paul could pick her up himself."

"And by the way, will doctor Xu come to the party?"

Bun then shook her head, "It's you and Young Master's engagement party. And only the relatives and friends of both your clans, celebrities of SH city and business partners are invited. Doctor Xu was only a doctor from the Mu's private hospital, and thus I'm afraid she won't receive the invitation."

"OK, I see. Now call Paul and tell him to bring Dr. Xu as well."

Although Anna Xu was only a doctor in the Mu's private hospital, she was Linda's friend. And therefore Linda wanted Anna Xu to attend her engagement party as her friend.

"OK, My Lady."

As soon as Paul arrived at the hospital, he received the call from Bun, telling him to bring Dr. Xu as well because Lady Linda wanted her to be there as her friend.

So Paul went to Anna Xu's office first.

"Paul, are you here for Mrs. Xie? She's in her room."

"Right, and I'm also here for you, " said Paul with a smile. He had known Anna Xu for almost eight years, and they were rather old acquaintances.

"Well? Me? Are you kidding? Paul, though I really want to go, I'm just a doctor. And I don't think I'm allowed to be there in Young Master's engagement party."

"Lady Linda said she wanted you there as her friend."

With her eyes slightly moist, Anna Xu went silent for for a few seconds as she was quite touched. And then she sniffed and said, "Fine. Go get Mrs. Xie first, I'm coming right up. I need to change."

In the Qi's villa.

There were sounds of various porcelain smashing into the ground and breaking into pieces coming from the house, accompanied by a loud screech of some woman. The servants in the garden trembled at the noise.

They wouldn't dare even let out a single word, and therefore they were all just focusing on their own jobs.

Obviously Lady Amy was throwing a tantrum again.

"Why? Why on earth could that slut marry Charles Mu? What the heck did he see in her? I really don't get this. What is it that she has and I don't?"

The more Amy Qi said, the angrier she became. She grabbed another vase and then tossed it to the ground, which gave out a huge sound.

The vase shattered into a few pieces. And it was definitely not a pleasant sight.

The servants inside the house were also trembling with fear.

Lady Amy had been losing her temper and throwing things every now and then lately. And she would even slap them sometimes without any reason. It was really annoying, but they wouldn't dare to fight back.

Sitting on the couch, Amanda Zhang felt so sorry for her daughter, who seemed to have pined away for the past two weeks. Even though she had put the delicate full make-up on, It could hardly cover her black eyes.

Amanda Zhang was also a little depressed because Violet Xing had been keeping her at a distance deliberately ever since the whole aphrodisiac thing. And they hadn't talked as friends for quite a long while. Violet Xing would talk to her only when she had to, and she was always cold and distant.
