Robert Huo laid down his chopsticks and turned to his brother with a loving smile, "Then how do you plan to help me?"

"I'll just send someone to snap her off the road and bring her to you."

With his lips slightly twitching, Robert Huo stood up and caressed Adam Huo's head, "What have you been thinking about all day long?"

"I am simply trying to help my brother, with the easiest and most efficient method."

"She has already engaged. I don't know what kind of man she is going to marry, but I do hope he will treat her well, "

Said Robert Huo while lowering his head, looking rather doleful.

It was not easy to find a woman who could make him felt like this, but sadly she was not available.

Had he seen this coming, he never would have yielded to his family's wish and went abroad to study business management.

It had been two years since Robert Huo last saw his precious little brother. He seemed to have fully recovered from the past, and gradually became his normal self again.

Adam Huo then rubbed his eyes with a yawn, "I'm so tired, brother. I'm going to have a shower and hit the bed. We can continue our talk tomorrow."

Robert Huo glanced at the clock in surprise, "What, now? It's only 8 o'clock."

"Right. And I sleep lightly. So please don't come into my room while I'm sleeping, or I'm afraid I'll stay awake for the whole night. Good night."

"Fine, I'll see you in the morning."

Adam Huo then went back to his room and locked the door.

The innocent smile disappeared instantly from his face as he entered the room, and his slightly narrowed eyes were glowing with a glint of devilish relish in the dark.

After sitting quietly for a couple of minutes, Adam turned the bulb of the lamp on his nightstand, and the closet started to move aside, Revealing a secret door behind it.

Adam Huo opened the door and then left the Huo's villa via the secret path, and there had already been a black car waiting for him outside the exit.

It seemed weird to Robert Huo that his brother should go to bed so early in the night.

So he asked Mabel, the senior housemaid who was cleaning up the kitchen.

"Mabel, does Adam always go to bed so early?"

Mabel then nodded with a soft smile, "Young Master usually goes to sleep at this hour. And he always told us not to bother him, for he is a light sleeper and it's hard for him to go back to sleep again once he is woken up."

Though still feeling something was strange, Robert Huo didn't ask further.

The room was soaked in darkness with only a faint glimmer of light. Crawling on the ground, Lisa Xia looked nothing like the arrogant lady as she used to be.

"Now, haven't I told you? I'll help you avenge yourself if you behave well."

A complex feeling was glowing in Lisa Xia's eyes. She really had had enough...

Then she thought of Linda, the one who had put her into such a miserable situation. And Linda would soon marry Charles Mu while she was suffering.

Lisa Xia hated Linda for it!

"Master, how do you plan to help me?"

Adam Huo rose from the couch and took a video tape out of the nearby bookshelf, and then dropped it in front of Lisa Xia with a wicked smile on his face, "After you learn how to please me... I'll help you with your revenge."

Adam Huo then threw a syringe and a vial of liquid at Lisa Xia and left the room.

As the door was shut again, Lisa Xia touched the dog leash around her neck and couldn't held her tears anymore. She sobbed quietly while reaching for the video tape with her trembling hands, and then she put it into the video player.

She was growing numb at what she saw on the tapes recently.

It was still May Shen on the screen.

All of a sudden, Lisa Xia started to tremble all over. It came again...

She could only crawled on her shivering hands and crept toward the syringe...

It was getting cooler as time placidly flew by.

And it was only one day left before their engagement party.

Charles Mu went to the company for a meeting in the morning, and then came back home by the afternoon.

Linda felt a little dizzy after spending the whole morning reviewing the chemistry textbook.

Charles Mu stopped beside Linda and took the book from her hands, "Why are you reading this?"

"I'm planning to apply for a job in college after we are engaged. I wanna be a chemistry teacher..."

Charles Mu was surprised at her words for a second. Then he sat next to Linda and held her in his arms, "The lady of the Mu clan dose not need to work."

Linda turned around to find a cozy spot in his arms and said, "But I want to. It bores me to death to sit around at home and do nothing."

Charles Mu said nothing for a while but held her tighter, "Fine, if you really want to do this. I won't stop you, but you must take Bun with you."

"How can I leave? I'm going to be a teacher... What will those students think of me if I take Bun with me?"

Linda rejected Charles Mu's suggestion sternly.

"You don't have a choice here. I have to keep you safe."

"You asshole! Go sleep on the couch by yourself tonight!" Linda pushed Charles Mu away and then pretended to be angry.

Charles Mu could only shake his head while pulling Linda back into his arms with a doting smile, and then he put a gentle kiss on her rosy lips and murmured, "What should I do with you..."

"That's more like it."

Seening as Charles Mu compromised, Linda then smoothly gave him a kiss in return.

She held his handsome face and pressed the kiss on his thin lips.
