Hearing what he just said, Linda's hands shook a little bit and the porridge nearly spilt.

"You know have to make porridge?"

Charles Mu glanced at Linda and raised an eyebrow, "I know everything!"

"You must be kidding me. I don't buy it."

Charles Mu shook his head with a sign and said, "Have a heart! I learnt how to make porridge for you, you know!"

"Oh, really?" Linda had another spoon of porridge. She could sense how seriously Charles took this cooking. The thought of how much Charles cared for her made Linda happy from the bottom of her heart...

But she could not smile, for a little movement of her face could make the abrasion hurt...

In order to recover, Linda had no other choice but to follow what Charles told her.

Since Charles Mu was so nice to her, Linda beckoned to him and said, "Fine, I'm going to reward you with a hug."

Charles Mu lifted his eyebrows and took Linda to his arms in a gentle manner so as not to hurt her. Since there were bruises scattering all over her body, a light touch could trigger off the pain.

Nestling against Charles's chest, Linda closed her eyes and smelt him.

She had thought that she would not be able to see him again.

"Well, what about Vincent Zhou?"

"He died."

"What? He died? In the same way as Walker Chen?" Linda felt somewhat confused. Walker Chen killed himself by overdosing on sleeping pills when he was in prison.

"Right, the same way as Walker Chen, Vincent Zhou also committed suicide by overdosing sleeping pills. I should have been more careful. I didn't connect Vincent with Walker Chen. Now I am sure they both worked for the Master Adam."

Charles Mu gently ran his fingers through Linda's hair...

"What a pity! With Vincent Zhou dead, our leads are gone too. We could have interrogated him and found out who the Master Adam really is." Linda shook her head with resignation.

Said Charles determinedly as his eyes blazed with menace. Linda was the one he cherished the most and he will kill whoever tried to hurt her.

"All right, what about May Shen?"

Linda had a bad feeling about her and worried she would committed suicide in the same way as Walker and Vincent.

If May Shen died, their last chance to find Master Adam would be lost. He could lurk everywhere, ready to kidnap Linda again. Linda would never be safe.

"The prison is fully secured and it doesn't allow visitors for the first three months."

"Since May Shen is in jail now, she must have been desperate to find a way to get in contact with the Master Adam. Maybe we could set up a trap by offering her a chance. Besides, Lisa Xia's disappearance is rather odd. She just evaporated into thin air. I guess she is still in SH city and we just need to find her."

Hearing what she just said, Charles Mu nodded at Linda and thought, "How brilliant she is! We are like one mind."

"I have a plan, but it would involve your father. We need his help, " said Charles.

"My father called me just now. He would get here within half an hour. Then we can have a talk with him and ask for his help. Without him, there is no way we could get to the bottom of the whole thing. But I am worrying that what we're about to ask would hurt his feelings!"

"Well, maybe we better not get him involved. May Shen is the last one he wants to meet again."

"Yes, "

When Johnson Xia learnt about Linda's kidnap, he wanted to come that night without delay. But Charles Mu told him Linda's OK and persuaded him not to get there, because it's too late at night. Then Charles Mu ordered Paul to take Johnson Xia to the hospital this morning.

After all, Johnson Xia was an old man now.

After walking in the ward, the fist thing Johnson Xia saw was his daughter nestling against Charles Mu and talking to him. He was somewhat embarrassed.

When he was about to turn back and leave, Linda stopped him and said, "Father, what are you doing?"

"Is this a bad time? I can come back later."

Linda was amused by her father's words and said, "No, come over here, father. We are talking something important!"

After hearing what Linda said, Johnson Xia walked in with lots of bags in his hands.

"Linda, how are you feeling? Are you still feeling sick? I brought you bird's nest porridge. Have some later."

"Fine, thank you, father."

Linda nodded at him with a smile. It's pretty moving for her to see how much her father cared for her.

With the presence of her father, Linda felt a little bit embarrassed to lie in Charles's arms and began to sit straight. Charles adjusted the pillows behind her back, so that she could feel more comfortable.

"Father, would you mind giving me a hand?"

Johnson Xia had just walked in. and Charles Mu went straight to the point, which amused Linda a bit.

Johnson Xia answered, "

"We hope you could visit May Shen in prison and tell her how much you miss her."

"Why?"

Johnson was obviously disconcerted by the mentioning of May Shen, as he had thought that he had heard the last of her. It's obvious that Johnson Xia'd rather not talk about her.

Through his whole life, he had never been hurt so deeply by someone except May Shen. She cheated on him and planned to steal all of his money. On top of that, she even wanted to kill him.

Charles Mu filled him in on what happened to Vincent Zhou and Walker Chen.

After hearing what Charles just said, Johnson Xia signed and said, "Fine, I guess there is something more you want me to do apart from telling May Shen how much I miss her. Just tell me!"

"Tell her that you've been finding a way to get her out and assure her that there is no need to worry because you will work out a plan as soon as possible... And you have to keep in contact with her..."

"How?"

"We will give you a mobile phone which has been installed a bug and a GPS tracker. Then you can give it to her and told her you bought it, so that she can keep in contact with you."

"Fine."

Johnson Xia agreed, but the grim expression on his face saddened Linda.

Johnson was once an energetic and dark-haired man, but what May Shen had done turned him into a man with so many grey hairs. Linda could tell how deeply he was hurt by May Shen's betrayal.
