Upside Down Chapter 78: Chapter 76: The List Part 1

Mama told Chinatsu to take care of me the rest of the day and everyone else would take care of our patients. Mama knows me all too well. Yes, I love Mama and Daddy very much, but even they know Chinatsu is who I need after something like this. Being with her and us talking through things allows me to decompress and come to terms with everything.

Anyway, after I went to hug and kiss Honoka and Mayumi, Chinatsu and I retreat to our room. Yes, you heard me right, I said our room. Sofi will be taking over Chinatsu's room. Not that we care, other than adding her wardrobe and shoe cubby in here has made it much, umm, cozier. We definitely won't be able to hold any slumber parties in my room anymore since there wouldn't be enough room for all of us. That is, at least, until we build our new house.

Ryu calls me at 7:30, Ryo also calls Chinatsu at almost the same time, and we talk to them for almost 2 hours. I never let on any of today's real events, except for the fact our cousin from America was adopted and now lives with us. I also told him about Honoka and Mayumi being sick. He asks me out on a date for this weekend, which I told him I would get back with him on since I have no idea how my sister will be feeling at that point. I want to go, as if I have to say that. Failing that, I want to see him even if it's only for a short time.

Afterward, Chinatsu and I talk, kiss, cuddle, and make love well into the night. By the time we fall asleep in each other's arms, I'm a lot more at peace with everything that happened today. For me, the only thing that could have made it better would have been if I could have seen Ryu for a while. I love the way he looks at me, his touch lights me on fire and his kiss makes everything else disappear. I wonder what it would have been like if he could have joined in with us tonight. I wonder if Chinatsu would agree to something like that? Hmm… Definitely something to talk about at some point. No hurry though.

[Wednesday, July 8th]

Even though we stayed up really late last night, my cramps and need to use the bathroom wake me at 5:00. Thank God that our periods are short. I wish the nanites also reduced the symptoms of it too. Maybe something to keep in mind in a future update for them. Rolling over, I kiss Chinatsu awake.

After she opens her eyes and I break our kiss, I ask, "It's still early, but do you want to go ahead and get up to bathe?" Right now, I'd love a long soak in a really hot bath. Might as well wake Sofi and start getting her accustomed to our routine while we are at it.

Smiling, she nods and replies, "Sounds good to me and I'm sure you're cramping too."

"I am. I'll take my meds and the hot bath should take care of the rest of it shortly."

Unfortunately, I have to see Airi today, or I would see about spending the majority of the day in bed with Chinatsu. Last night was simply phenomenal. I've no idea how many times we made each other climax, but that's the great thing about being a girl. With the right partner, there's no limit on them, other than utter exhaustion.

Getting up, I begin to head to my closet to pick out something to wear, but Chinatsu cuts me off.

"Nuh uh, I'm picking out what you wear today."

I sigh resignedly and shake my head. "Okay, but please, try not to make it something too overtly sexy, alright?"

She grins maliciously and says, "That would defeat the purpose of me picking your outfit, now wouldn't it?"

"Chinatsu, I love you, but who are you trying to have me impress? I have the people I love, you and Ryu. As long as you two look at me, the rest of them don't matter."

She simply continues to grin at me, then tells me, "Sora, it's not about other people. This is all for you and me."

Turning around, she delves into my closets while I take my meds and sit down on the bed. Twenty minutes later, she pulls out a yellow lace halter neck, backless mini dress, which makes me sigh to myself because this means I have to wear an adhesive bra. She pairs it with a black belt and ultra sheer black Mikado-lace patterned stockings, along with my yellow bow strap heels.

Now, I'll admit the outfit will look awesome and will draw a lot of attention. Therein lies the problem, I've never liked drawing that much attention to myself. She delves into my drawer next and pulls out an adhesive bra. Oh, and lest we forget, a black thong. One of the things I've never worn since she bought several of them for me when we bought new underwear. I do think they are cute and they are comfortable, but dressing that way… Well, it's not something I usually do on my own. Although, I don't mind doing it for Chinatsu and Ryu now and again.

For herself? She chooses a black backless halter mini dress, pairs it with my yellow belt, sheer yellow Gardenilace patterned stockings and her black bow strap heels. She adds a yellow thong and an adhesive bra. Again, the outfit is fabulous and she'll be jaw dropping in it. She has no problem with drawing attention to herself, but as she said, she's dressing this way for me, just as she's having me dress this way for her. Everyone else, other than our boyfriends, doesn't even enter the picture.

Although, speaking of pictures, I wouldn't mind taking pictures of us in these outfits and sending them to our boyfriends. I'm very sure they'd love them.

While we're gathering up our outfits, my phone chimes. No one should be calling me at this time of day, so I have no idea who it could be. Picking up my phone, I unlock it and find it's a text from Hestia.

'Good morning Sora. I've finally decrypted the drive tower and think you might want to take a look at the information I've found since some of it pertains directly to you,' it reads. Saying I'm shocked is putting it far too mildly.

"Sora, what's wrong?"

"Umm, uh, Hestia finished decrypting that drive tower that was in the office suite. She says some of the information it contains is about me. I need to go into the office today to find out what it is."

"Okay, no problem, we can do that after your appointment this morning. I'm sure you'll want to tell Airi about this too."

Airi hadn't even occurred to me, but yes, I'll tell her about this. I know this is information I've been looking for, but at the same time, I also don't want to know. Contradictory I know. Intellectually, I always knew this would happen. Emotionally, now that it's happening, I have no idea how to react. I suppose I'll know when I see the information.

"You know me all too well, I will. Anyway, let's go wake Sofi and bathe."

"You want Sofi to bathe with us?"

"Chinatsu, need I remind you she's family and she protected us?"

"Uh, no. It just seems sudden."

"Yes, I won't deny that, but I won't ignore our sister either, not to mention, we need her. Yesterday proved that. That means we need to bond with her and get closer, the same as we did with Honoka. This is going to sound manipulative, but the closer they are to us, the more they'll be willing to protect us. You can fight me on this, but I won't budge. You'll accept her as you said, or you and I will have a problem."

"I never said that!"

"Then what are you saying?"

She sighs. "Sora, we keep being spread thinner and thinner."

"Oh. So, it's that. Chinatsu, do you think familial love is limited?"

"HUH?!"

"It's just what I asked. Do you really think love of my family can or will limit my love for you?"

"I don't really know."

I drop back into a familiar form, I know I shouldn't for so many reasons, but I do so to make sure I capture her full attention. I know she loves Mama, Daddy, and Honoka, but right now that isn't the issue. "Chi, do you really believe that of me? I've told you many times that you mean more to me than the world, more than my own life actually. So, what's the issue?"

Her startled look means I got what I'm after. "Sora, she's gorgeous. More so than I am."

Now, I know who she's talking about and so do you, but, "Who is?"

"Sofi!"

I nod. "Yes, she's adorable, but she's not you."

"Exactly! She's cuter than I am."

"Who says? You? Isn't my opinion and my preferences the deciding factor?! Damn it! Chinatsu, we just went through this! Are you trying to drive me away from you and break my heart?! Did I not just ask you not to do this to me since my heart couldn't take another round of this?!"

At this point, I'm absolutely livid and have almost lost it. What do you expect though? No one is better than Chinatsu in my view and no one ever will be. Yes, I love Ryu. Yes, I think Sofi is adorable and I had a passing thought, emphasis on passing, of feeling her up, but it was left at that and that's all it would have ever been. Honestly, I want to scream in frustration. How anyone as gorgeous as Chinatsu can have these kind of insecurities is beyond me. Yes, I had, have?, them, but she should know that even I have none when it comes to her. I have zero doubts about her. Not now, not anymore, not after she's stood by me through everything over the years. She is and always will be the center of my world. I literally wouldn't even be here if not for her.

She shakes her head. "I'm sorry Sora. I don't know what got into me for a second there. I'm working on it, but we both know I'm a jealous, clingy bitch."

"Damn it Chinatsu! Stop calling the girl I love a bitch! You are not a bitch! I need you to get over whatever this is. I can deal with people trying to kidnap me and everything else. Hell, I could probably even take Ryu dumping me. What I can't take is this. You are the other half of me and you always will be, so stop this, right now."

She steps up to me and kisses me. After she breaks our kiss, she whispers in my ear, "I'm sorry, Sora. I can't seem to help myself when it comes to you. If it could ever happen, I would happily live in a world with just the two of us."

Holding her tightly to me, I quietly say, "Mhmm. I'm the same way. I'm not worried about someone taking you away from me though. I know they can't and you know no one can ever take me away from you. We are halves of the same person, we don't exist without each other. I don't even really know how it happened, but it's been true for a long, long time."

"I know. Airi said pretty much the same thing when you were in the hospital last time. You'd blush from head to toe if you knew what I told her about how I feel about you."

That brings a small smile. "I can imagine what you said, but you're right, if I knew for certain I probably would. You're an expert in making me blush."

"Mhmm. Easy to do when I know you better than you know yourself. Sora, I love you." She tells me, then begins kissing my neck.

"Mmm~ I love you too, but stop that, I want to take a bath." Now, I know what I told her, but I think we all know I don't really mean it.

She sucks on my neck, mutters, "Shut up Sora," and then kisses me while reaching up to fondle my boobs while putting some pressure on me to slowly make me move back to the bed.

It looks as if bathing will have to wait…
