Upside Down 36 Chapter 34: Basement Part 1

We arrived home at around 3:30 in the afternoon. I'm worn out from everything we did today, but I did have a lot of fun. I believe even Honoka had fun, even if she did put up a fight about everything I bought her.

The burgundy mini dress, along with the black thigh stockings, and the strappy sandals we made her change into really changed the way she looks. As I said, she now looks like a typical 15 year old girl you see everyday, anywhere, albeit with much larger boobs than most. Poor girl, I hope my boobs never get that big.

Our next project is to play around with hairstyles for her to see what will work best. As it is, it just hangs straight down with no styling whatsoever. I'm thinking that if we part her hair on the side, feather it back and pin it into place to where it's no longer hiding her face it'll help a lot. Even without doing anything with her hair, the number of men and boys looking at her greatly increased when she changed into the dress, as if I really even had to say that. Boys + very cute girl with big boobs = staring.

Right now, all I want to do is go to my room so I can snuggle with Chinatsu and take a nap. I'll be really happy when I build up more stamina and don't tire so easily. Don't get me wrong, I love napping with Chinatsu, I would simply rather do it because I want to, rather than have to. So, after giving Mama a hug and telling her we were going to go take a nap, I take Chinatsu's hand and head to my room. After undressing and kissing Chinatsu, we laid down and I fell asleep seconds after my head hit the pillow.

"Girls, time to get up. Dinner will be ready soon." Honoka tells us after knocking.

"Okay Honoka, we'll be down in a few minutes." I reply to her.

Glancing at the clock on my desk, I see it's 6:45 in the evening. I look at Chinatsu, who is somehow still asleep. How she can sleep so heavily amazes me.

"Chinatsu, wake up. We need to get dressed. Dinner will be ready soon." I tell her while shaking her gently.

She opens her eyes, smiles at me, and wraps her arms around my neck to pull me to her for a kiss.

"Mmm~ much better. Now we can get dressed."

Fifteen minutes later, we walk into the dining room and see Lt. Aoki sitting next to Dad. I'm not really surprised to see him here, after all, he is going to go with us to check out the basement this evening.

"Good evening Lt. Aoki. It's nice to see you again." I tell him.

"Good evening Sora. How are you this evening?"

"Doing well, thank you. Are you the only one going with Dad and me?"

"No, there are some other officers that will be joining us around 8."

"Girls, sit down, everything is already on the table." Mama tells us.

"Dad, what do you think of Honoka's outfit?"

"She looks very nice. You two did a really great job of making her look like a teenager."

I shake my head. "Most of the credit goes to Honoka, she made everything we picked out look good. By the way Honoka, you know you can't wear those frumpy clothes again, right? We would also like to do something about your hairstyle, or should I say, lack thereof. You'll look a lot better with it away from your face. I wish I had thought about this while we were still shopping. I would have gotten some hair clips for you."

"It might be belated, but thank you two for doing this. Once we got home, I took a better look at myself and I like what you did. I never realize I could look like this. I suppose that comes from being raised without my mother and only being around men. If you want to change my hairstyle as well, we can do that. I'm sorry I fought you two so much over all this."

"It's no big deal Honoka. We're just happy you finally look like the beautiful girl you are." Chinatsu tells her and then looks at Lt. Aoki to ask, "Don't you agree Lt. Aoki?"

"Hmm… Oh, yes. Most definitely. If I didn't already know Honoka was an adult I would place her as a 3rd year middle or 1st year high school student." He says, which makes Honoka blush and look down, trying to hide the small smile she has while glancing repeatedly at Lt. Aoki. Oh? So, it's like that is it Honoka? Well, not that I blame her, he's a decent looking man.

After we finish eating, Chinatsu and I help Mama clean up.

"Are you ready Sora?" Dad ask me.

"Yep. Umm… Dad, can you guys promise me something?"

"What's that sweetheart?"

"Promise me you won't touch anything that might have nanites in it without proper precautions. I don't want to see anything happen to someone else. This might make you mad at me, but if you don't promise me I won't open the door."

Dad chuckles. "Of course sweetheart. We promise, right Mitty?"

"Certainly Sora. That's one of the reasons other officers will be there. They will be properly equipped to deal with this. I mostly want to find the records of the incident with Akiyama, if it exists."

Relieved, I blow out the breath I was holding. I was almost certain they would promise me, but you never know and I'm not willing to take a chance something could happen to Dad.

"Okay, then let's do this." I tell them and head to the front door. When Chinatsu begins to follow I stop and tell her, "No, Chinatsu, you can't go. I have no idea what's down there or how dangerous it is. You're already infected with my nanites and while they would probably protect you from anything down there, I'm not willing to take a chance of something happening to you."

"Yet, you think it's okay for you to go down there? If it's dangerous for me, it's dangerous for you as well." She tells me.

I take her in my arms. "That might be true, but I have to go and you don't. I won't take a chance by taking you down there. End of discussion. I promise I'll be as careful as I can." I kiss her cheek and resume heading toward the door, leaving her to stand there looking at me apprehensively.
