Some days passed after Ullr's last try on getting his revenge, he missed a good chance but now he had to think about what he will do.

"I need a better bow..." Ullr thought as he reminded himself how his bow broke and caused him to be squashed by the colossus.

Ullr started thinking about how he could get a new bow when he looked a pile of junkling metal he bought to study it and he had a new idea, he heard of a dwarven master smith that frequented this town and now he wanted the dwarf to make him a bow.

As it happens John wanted to walk around in the city this day and once again changed his appearance to the old dwarven smith. He was just leisurely walking through the streets when John was spotted by Ullr when Ullr heard some NPCs talking about John.

Ullr stood up and walked to John and said:

"Could you possibly the esteemed dwarven Mastersmith? Would you mind making a weapon for me, the prize doesn't matter as long the weapon is good enough."

John felt a little bit challenged by his phrasing when he said that condition that it has to be good enough. As a crafter, he came a long way and developed a little bit of pride so he nodded and heard about the details from Ullr.

John needed to make a bow that doesn't break or bend that is easy to carry and use.

He went to the nearest forge and took out several pieces of metal a took a bow from Ullr.

John asked him if he had some things he wanted to be changed from the design but Ullr was happy with just a longbow. So John started thinking about his work and entered into the mind of a crafter.

When John glanced at Ullr he noticed that every leather-based item was made by the same person a master of his profession. So he asked Ullr if he made them himself and received a nod from Ullr after which he asked Ullr to prepare several leather strips.

John looked at the metal bars he prepared and grabbed a piece of adamantite and put it in the forge, while the metal heated up he pulled out some herbs which he quickly mixed into his metal softening potion.

John took out the metal and forged a long square bar which he after it was heated up again, clamped it into a vice and twisted it until several spirals formed over the whole piece of metal.

Next, he cut off some extra material and started forging once again, he rounded the handle and tapered the ends. He cut a groove on each end of the bow and added some Mythril to it to protect the bowstring.

Then John took a small piece of adamantite and put it into the metal softening potion, he injected some mana and pulled the metal into a thin string of several meters which he then braided into the bowstring and attached it to the bow and when he stopped with injecting his mana the metal wanted retract into its original form Nd pulled the bow into the typical curved bow shape. Just at that time, Ullr came with the leather strips so John took them and glued them around the handle, he took a step back and looked at his work.

Indestructible

When Ullr reached his full draw he let go and watched in timelapse how his arrow disintegrated and a giant shockwave flew away from his bow which eradicated several trees and the hit something out of metal that was lying on the ground and pulled it with the shockwave several kilometers away.

Ullr thought he heard someone or something scream "SCRAAAPPP..." but he must have imagined it. Ullr was impressed by this bow he still needed practice and new arrows but he still wanted to thank the dwarf but when he turned around he couldn't find him anymore just an angry mob with torches and pitchforks...
