John thought that it seemed easy so he sat down and started meditating thinking about how to forge the hammer going through all the steps and imagining them.

The old man brought a silvery piece of wood that was heavier than it looks. Both took their time making a rough form out of the handle and as soon as the hammerhead was was finished with tempering they connected both of them and finished all the grinding.
At last the old Smith brought a piece of a big bone and some leather that looked like it was from a snake as it had scales.
Out of the bone they made bone glue with which they glued a strip of the leather to the handle to make an amrstring.
John gazed at his hammer as it was finished until it suddenly flew right into him and he felt somehow complete like his brother was with him playing the game with him.
