Slave to the Darkness 209 209 Mount Denali

Cedric lifted her chin higher and placed a kiss on her lips. "That is true. I think that there is also more going on then we both have been told. Once we are back in the pier I think it would be best to talk to the guy we have captive. Maybe there is something that he knows that we do not. Not that I have a lot of knowledge on this but what I do know is that you are in a lot of danger and there is nothing that can stop events from happening." He placed his hands around her body and sat in her lap.

Yuki looked up at him and rested her cheek against his chest. "I do not like not knowing what is going to happen. It is not fair at all." She pouts and hugs him.

"I know. I want you to know that you are not alone in this. I am slowly recovering the knowledge of groups after you." Cedric lets her rest her head before he gently gets off her lap and goes back to steering the boat. This time he parked in a different area and dropped the anchor. "Let's go talk to Zion."

Yuki got up and followed Cedric to the holding cell where the warlock was sitting at the table patting his belly. She was holding a bag of food that Cedric handed to her.

Cedric placed the drink down, "feeling better?"

Zion grabbed the cup and chugged the drink down. "You do not know how long I have wanted to just eat whatever I wanted for. I feel a lot better thank you for asking. I was on a strict diet so that I could live longer but I do not care about that. That is not what you want to hear though. As I told you two I am Zion. There are two clans I have gotten close two so I will go over the first one if that is acceptable?"

Cedric nodded his head, "I think that would be best. I do not care which order you tell me about them in as long you are able to give me the information I seek."

Zion watched as Yuki nodded in agreement. "Okay, you may not know this clan but there is a clan that wants to turn from warlocks and witches into vampires. I was with then for a few years before I realized that they all were all crazy. They hid things well and practiced magic like any other clan but something just 'felt' different." He shook his head and sighed. "I was going to be invited into their clan and that was when they told me that in order to join I have to make a promise. I said okay thinking that it wouldn't be anything much and before they swore me in, they took me deep inside a cave and there was a picture of the vampire princess and they all were worshipping the picture."

Yuki shivers, "That is rather unsettling. I do not like that at all." She looks at the guy's expression and watches as it turns darker. "It gets worse?"

"Mmmmmm, yeah. They wanted me to defile a young girl in front of your picture and that was my way to get into the clan. If I choose to leave then I would never be allowed to find them again. I chose to leave. I saw the panicked look on the girls face. I mean she was of age but still, that is not something that I wanted anything to do with. That was at Mount Denali so if you want to go you can. I do not know if they have moved or not but that clan is sick in the head. I refuse to see them ever again." Zion shook his head and stopped drinking the drink he was holding.

"Hmmmm, that is a clan we can take care of easily and we can kill all of them easily. They will think that Yuki is there to save them but really she will just kill them." Cedric looks at Yuki and sees that she is deep in thought. "What do you want to do?"

"I think that the sick clan needs to be wiped out and my picture burned. I do not want to think about what might happen if we leave it there. I want to hear about the second clan you mentioned." Yuki placed the bag down and opened it up.

Zion smelled the air and pulled the bag open. "This smells amazing. Thank you for bringing me more food. I am happy that you guys are treating me well and keeping me hidden. I don't even care that I am a captive."

"You are more valuable alive than dead. How else am I to find out the information from you if I do not keep someone from harming you? I will not let them kill you as I need all the valuable information from you." Cedric looked at Zion and sighed.

"I see well that is also true but it does not change the fact that you still have information to give us. What is the other clan you have information on?" Cedric watched Zion.

Zion opened the bag that was placed on the table and pulled out the food and started eating. "This is going to be my last meal so I want to make it count." He finished off the meal and drank the rest of the pop. "Okay, I think you might have heard that name 'everything goes clan'?"

"I have but only recently. I do not know much more than that though." Yuki crooks her head to the right and sighs. "What do you know about them? I am curious."
