Slave to the Darkness 155 155 Dinner for Two

Cedric pulls out the lobster from the pot and puts it on a plate that was on the counter. He comes to the table and picks up his lobster and tosses this one in headfirst as well. Then he grabs a pot and melts butter and adds some minced garlic and some garlic salt to the butter. Then he pulls out a tealight candle butter melting stand. He pours the butter into the tops and lights Yuki's candle. "Wash your hands and then come sit. I will teach you how to open this bad boy up."

Yuki hops down and goes to the sink. She washes up and carries a cloth to wipe down the kitchen table. She cleans the table then washes her hands again and sits there waiting to see what she will need to do next.

Cedric carried the plate over with some scissors and a fork. "So the middle of the lobster is not edible but the tail and claws are. If you break off the tail here you will see that there is a lot of meat. To get it open you cut up the shell then you break off the claws. You will need to cut this open to get the meat out and then you can dunk the meat in the butter but that is only if you want to."

"Is that how you eat this?" Yuki followed the instructions about the tail and saw that the meat looked amazing. "Oh my goodness, this looks amazing!" She looked at her purse and got up to grab her phone.

"I like to dip the lobster in the butter. I would eat it while it is still warm. I want for you to have the best of the best and mine will be done within the next ten minutes." Cedric listened to the pot and looked at the timing.

Yuki took a picture, "If you say so then I will do so." Yuki broke the tail apart and ripped a chunk of meat off and placed it into the garlic butter and then started to break open one of the claws apart. She turned the piece over and then pulled it out and brought it to her mouth. "Mmmmmm, that was simply amazing. You were right, the lobster tastes absolutely divine with the garlic butter." She threw in the lobster claw meat as she got it out and then made a small pile of the next stuff to go in.

Cedric chuckled and glanced at the calendar that was on the table. 'A date. Hmmmm, there is a lot to choose from but I want her to have the best and we need to set out the ballroom in the palace but then my aunt will figure out that Liliana is Yuki. What to do?'

Yuki ate the legs and added more to the butter mixture happily not quite catching onto the dilemma in Cedric's mind. She turned and looked at him, "Cedric, you are staring at the calendar. What is on your mind?"

"Ah, about the wedding. For the formal wedding normally it is done at the royal palace but if we do that…" Cedric lets out a sigh and goes to the pot and pulls out his lobster then places it on another plate. He opened the container of live food and grabbed a crab and added it to the pot. Then he washed his hands.

Yuki looked at Cedric and watched his actions. "Hmmmm, that can be a problem but we can make it small and not announce it right away. Besides, we already have the crowns and the rightful place as king and queen. So, I would like people to stop us. I will not let anyone get in my way."

"Good point, Sweetie." Cedric sat down and lit his candle and started breaking apart the claws. The butter warmed back up and he started eating. "Right now I am happy that I brought us out here as this is amazing."

Yuki continued eating and finished off the lobster. "I am glad that I lived long enough to be able to eat something so amazing. I can see why humans treat it as a delicacy." She looked over and the pot and her mouth started to water.

Cedric got up and checked on the crab. He saw that it was not yet floating so he sat down and continued to eat. "Do not worry I will share the crab legs with you. I had a feeling that you would want more." He chuckled and ate the tail and then collected the plates and dumped the shells in the trash. He checked on the crab again.

"I am not usually into human food but this is too good to pass up. I see that the crab also turns red when cooked." Yuki comments on the colour as Cedric brings it to the counter.

"Yes, it does. I am sure that you will enjoy this as well." Instead of waiting like he normally would Cedric cracked the front plate off and the back fell off. He quickly picked off all the bad pieces and washed away the inners. He cut the little bit left and gave half to Yuki.

"You know for such big creatures you would assume that you could eat most of it but you really get the legs, claws, or tails. Doesn't seem worth it. That is until you eat the mother fucker!" Yuki took the legs and waited.

Cedric sat down, "There is a trick to these that if done right you will not need to cut open the shell. If you pull back on the joint sometimes the meat will slide out." Cedric demonstrates what he means.

"Oh! That is nifty. I do not think I will get it right away so is it safe to assume that I can open the shell the same way as I did with the lobster claws?" Yuki tries and fails miserably.

"Yes, that is how you may get the meat out. I am glad that you enjoyed the first part." Cedric cracks the leg and shows Yuki how the meat looks when it comes out whole.

"You are a tease, even with food." Yuki pouts and breaks the shell open and tosses it in the butter. "I do love how it looks on the clear cartilage."

"Do not worry you will get there. I am almost willing to bet that you will get it by the end of the week." Cedric slides the crab meat off of the cartilage and places it on his plate.

Yuki smiles and pulls out the whole piece from the shell and rips it in half before adding it to the butter. "I think you will be right but this is a fun meal. One where you actually need to work to get the food reward. I am glad that you taught me about this food." She used her fork to grab the meat and she ate it. "Mmmmm. So good." She sighs as she eats the crab.

Cedric breaks another joint and slides the meat off. Then he rips it into smaller pieces and adds to the butter. "This is an amazing dinner and I am glad that you are enjoying it. At first, I was worried that you would not enjoy it. As you don't eat a lot of human food."

"Human food doesn't sustain me." Yuki continued to eat until there was only one leg left. "I can't do it. As much as I want to finish this off… I am too stuffed. I love you but I will get fat from all the seafood."

Cedric laughed and finished off his last leg and grabbed hers and ate it too. "It is okay as I know that you will not gain weight that easily. I will eat this and we can go and relax in the pool again looking up at the stars. You are my beauty and I was to see you shine in the water under the stars. That is if that is what you would like to do?"

"I would like that. I want to spend time with you enjoying our alone time. Claude and Sephira will they be staying on this boat with us?" Yuki watches as Cedric eats the last leg.

"No, Claude will bring out his boat. He will stay near those traps that we did not go to but we will cook on this boat as it is better equipped. Claude is a huge foodie but he is not a big cook." Cedric shook his head.

"I think I get what you mean. With living with us vampires all the food cooked for an entire family he would get to eat it all. I think I remember little bits like that but it is hard to say." Yuki got up and stood next to Cedric.
