Queen of the World 4 Chapter 4:To Begin Anew Part 3

Valerie struggled, trying to get out of the little cocoon she was wrapped in, but she could not. So she just had to lay there, thinking about what she should do in this new life of hers.

I will never fall in love again, I can't bear the pain of love once more' she contemplated.' This time, I'm going to be more independent, I'm going to have everyone looking up to me with respect and make even the most powerful of men bow down to me'.

She tightly clenched her tiny fists. 'But for now, I will act as a child until I'm 5 years old, yes, I will be a dumb, innocent little kid, but once I turn 5, I will start making this country... NO this WORLD mine.' On Valerie's tiny little face was a tiny smirk, so evil that you would never possibly think it came from a new-born child.

As to put on a facade as an innocent child, she started wailing as any other new born child would do. The mother, who was in a deep sleep, woke up in anger " STOP CRYING CHILD", but of course Valerie continued to cry even more louder, as it was amusing to her at seeing her mother's face so angry.

"Oh my lord", as the mother said while rolling her eyes. She picked up Valerie and cradled her, putting her nipple into Valerie's mouth, as Valerie could not eat food yet. Valerie thought that this scene was very embarrassing, as she was a 18 year old girl sucking her new mother's nipple.What a funny and disgusting sight to see.

After Valerie was finished eating, she, for some reason, felt very fatigued, so she quickly fell asleep. The mother felt relieved that her new born daughter fell asleep, as she was getting tired too, so then she fell asleep as well.

The next day, Valerie awoke to hear her mother angrily throwing stuff around the hospital room. "He said he would come visit us, WHY ISN'T HE HERE". The mother starts grasping her hair and murmuring under her breath " Why isn't he here" over and over again. 'Well isn't she psychotic' Valerie thought.

All of a sudden, Valerie hears the door burst open," Sweetie I'm here, sor-" the mother rushed to him and starts crying, " Why are you crying ?" he said affectionately. " B...b..because you s..s..said you would be here.... but you weren't". "Aww its ok sweety", he said while he hugs her, " I was late because my son needed help with his homework". "Why didn't you ask your wife to do that?" Valerie's mother asked,

" Well because i wanted to spend time with my son, is there anything wrong with that?" Valerie's father looked at Valerie's mother with a harsh stare," No of course not, i was just worried that you would forget about me and your daughter". Valerie's mom looked down, scared of the expression the man looked at her with.

"It's ok sweety, i would never forget about my daughter or you" He kisses her lips, which caused them to make out in front of their child. 'wow, isn't he a little to affectionate with his mistress? Usually in novels when the mistress has a baby, that baby is not cared for by his/her's father nor mother. How ironic' Valerie thought.

"Now, let me look at my daughter" Valerie's father said. After putting his coat on a chair, he walked to the container containing Valerie and he picks her up gently, cradling her. "She's absolutely gorgeous, her eyes are astonishing as well, her beautiful red eyes." " Hey sweetie, did you have this gene passed down in your family?" " No not all, all of my ancestors have black eyes, i thought she got it from your side."Her mother said questionably. "nope, not from my side. Well i guess we have a special little girl, one of a kind."

The man continues to cradle her. "Well my sweet daughter, you will have a brother 6 years older than you" he whispers," I hope that my two precious children will get along together". Valerie's father then sighs and put her back down.

"Well sweetie, i have got to my company, we have meeting that I will need to go to very soon with our business partners". "Ok, bye I love you" Valerie's mother said as she puts her lover's coat on him. "I love you too, Zana". Valerie's father kisses Valerie's mom on the forehead and then leaves the room.

Valerie's mother turns to her child and says aloud " Good job my child. Soon enough you will win over his heart and i will be in the wife position." Valerie's mom turned back to the hospital bed and started sleeping. 'My mother is truly a 2-sided woman',Valerie sighs. Valerie falls asleep soon after.

Author's note: Valerie's mom with now be referred to as Zana. Only on certain occasions will I refer Zana as " Valerie's Mother".
