Queen of the World 2 Chapter 2: To Begin Anew Part 1

Karia awoke the next afternoon. She still felt very devastated after the events of 'that' day took place. She decided to go on a walk, to calm down her mind.

She went into her closet and put on a white dress with lace around the ends.

She leaned down and got her sandals that were light brown in color.

Her golden hair flowed down, as if the sun had turned to liquid.

If one were take a look at her, they would think that a goddess had descended from the almighty heavens, to come bless this world with light. She was truly a devastating beauty.

Once she walked outside the house, she paused for a moment, looking up at the sky and then taking a deep breath. Then Karia started walking down the sidewalk. When people passed her, they took second glances to make sure it was a real person.

As Karia was walking down the sidewalk, she heard laughter, coming closer and closer. As it was coming closer, she thought that the the person's laugh sounded very familiar.

As she continued on, from far away in the distance she saw her ex-husband and step sister laughing together and afterwards, hugging each other affectionately. The sight of this brought back all the emotions she experienced back when she was heart-broken by the two.

But she thought to herself 'I have to walk pass them and get through, only then will i have chance to get over my former lover and the heart break he has caused me'. She continued to walk down the side walk, clenching her fist and trying to slow down her heart beat. Every step she took as she got closer, made her heart beat even faster.

Once she reached the pair, she looked down, unable to hold in her tears, the tears quickly ran down her face. Rillion caught the sight of this scene and his tense face as Kaira walked past, softened, but quickly tensed up again.

Wendi caught the sight of Kaira silently crying and she was extremely amused. " Oh hi Kaira" Wendi happily said. Kaira quickly wiped her tears and changed her sad expression to a happy one.

"Oh hi there Wendi and Rillion", Kaira said with a glowing smile. " How are you?" She asked.

Wendi thought that Kaira was going to look even more sad when she called her out, but was quickly surprised with the fact that Kaira had such a glowing smile, a smile that could win over any man's heart. " Me and Rillion are doing wonderfully and we are currently going on a date", Wendi replied.

"Oh.. I see" Kaira replied. In her mind, Kaira was very hurt, but on the outside, Kiara looked perfectly fine. As a man that was married to Kaira for 5 years, Rillion was able to tell how Kaira felt in the inside, and he knew that Kaira was feeling hurt about this situation. He had a strong sense of guilt in his heart, that he tried to suppress.

All the while. Wendi was talking to Kaira about how she was pregnant with Rillion's child.

This made Kaira even more devastated and saddened. She quickly looked down and took a deep breath. Afterwards, Kaira told Wendi and Rillion that she had something to do and she quickly ran back home. Once she closed the front door, she slid down the door, sobbing uncontrollably and clutching her chest. Her salty tears ran down her face and dripped onto her white dress. At this very moment, what Kaira decided to do would change her life forever.
