The next morning, Secretary Dandan was apprehensive of the news they just received. The public relations team reported to her about the video that had been circulating since 4 AM. It was the edited video of Xiulan and Gong Yuming's encounter.

Of course, she knew that the video was legit since she saw the scene herself in person. Though the voice over they added was quite over the top. She herself didn't hear such words coming from her boss' mouth.

Whatever the words her boss' uttered that time, it was so inaudible and not easy to comprehend even by lip reading. She knew it was edited and spoke to the public relation team that someone was slandering their boss.

"Secretary Dandan, we know this is a shitty edited video. But the people loves drama so much. Either we give a statement or even release the evidence that it's not true, people won't listen since they love lies and drama." The public relations team head frustratedly explained. She wanted to save her boss Xiulan's image very badly but people are still blinded to even hear out their side.

Their boss was under fire in every showbiz SNS accounts right now and had labeled her as an insecure wife to attack Gong Yuming in public. Others defended her that she only did the right thing. Some say that there's no proof yet that Gong Yuming is a mistress so Mrs. Xing was judgmental wife to attack women who are connected to her husband.

The opinions of the public were mixed but overall there are more antis than white knights.

"This is bad… what about the condition of our stocks? Was it affected?" Secretary Dandan asked to the group of people who were inside the meeting room. Their boss was not around yet and they all guessed that she might work from home today due to this mess.

"Our stocks were not affected, Secretary Dandan. Our company is safe from such misfortune. The only bad about this video was that this was the great chance for the Mrs. Xing antis to voice out their hate. It won't affect the company but the Mrs. Xing title is in danger. Actually, it seems that our investors didn't care much of this news. We called each of them and apologize for this mischief but they all said that it's only natural for the rich wives to protect their family."

Secretary Dandan relaxed a little when the stocks and image of the company was not affected. Though she was really worried about her boss. She did not deserve such slander!

"I will call boss again to ask her what we should do to ease the noise." Secretary Dandan nervously muttered. She pulled out her phone and called her boss. She pressed the loud speaker mode so everyone could hear it.

It ringed for three times when a husky baritone voice was heard from the other side of the phone call.

"Secretary Dandan? Your boss is still sleeping. What is it?" his husky bedroom voice can be heard by everyone and they all blushed just by hearing it. They all looked at each other and they suddenly had a panic attack on what to say.

"Uh… uhmm… young master." Dandan eyed the public relations head on what to say to Xing Hongqi. They did not expect him to answer the call! It was already 9 AM anyway. They all expect him to be at his own company by this hour.

An employee1 quickly wrote on the glass board "Should we honestly tell him the situation?"

Another employee2 immediately crossed it out and wrote "Are you an idiot? What if gets mad? Gong Yuming is involved here!"

Employee1 rebut "So are you telling me that she's actually a mistress?"

Employee2 quickly answered back with all capitals "I AM NOT SURE BUT EITHER SHE WAS OR NOT, SHE'S FROM HIS COMPANY!!!!"

"Secretary Dandan? Are you still there?" Hongqi's sexy voice pulled them back to the current situation.

Dandan cleared her throat first before she courageous asked Hongqi. "Young master, I apologized for staying silent. It was about the video of Boss Xiulan and Miss Gong Yuming. It has cause great negative impact to your wife. We wanted to ask her what we should do to put out this fire."

Hongqi didn't saw the edited video yet but he was aware that there might be a video about that planned encounter. He sighed contemptuously as he remembers Gong Yuming's daring move.

"Dandan, can you send all the articles your team had collected regarding this matter to Secretary Yang Bo? I will clean this mess." Hongqi heroically said.

His sexy voice resonated inside the room. With such knightly words, they all silently swooned except for Secretary Dandan.

She irritably thought "If you cared enough about boss, this mess wouldn't be happening now."

"Alright, young master. We will leave it to you. Thank you so much." Secretary Dandan said and waited for Hongqi to end the call.

When the call ended, Dandan released a frustrated sigh. "Man… talking to boss' husband really worn me out."

"Gosh! His bedroom voice is so dreamy! Our boss is so lucky to have him every day, every night, every morning! Kyah!~" the youngest employee swooned over the romantic idea between the Xing couple.

"Idiot, I think boss is not lucky enough since she has to go through torturous words and treatment from random people every day just because she's married to him. Now they even have infidelity rumors circulating them. If it was me, I might have gotten crazy!" another employee scolded.

Dandan pinched the skin in between the middle of her eyebrows. The banters of the employee and the stress they are getting because their boss is in an unfair situation also caught to her. Everyone is overprotective when it comes to their boss. She was everyone's angel in here.

"This meeting is adjourned. I will call everyone again once boss contacts me regarding this matter. I am not sure if we should leave everything to young master Xing. I am sure, he will release a statement that will still white knight Gong Yuming's side." Dandan can't completely trust Hongqi. She still can't forget that his secretary tried to buy out her loyalty before by using her weakness. Ever since then, she has a bad judgment over boss' husband and everyone around him.

Dandan went back to her own space when the public relations head approached her. She didn't notice that the public relations head followed her.

"Dandan, please immediately call me once boss has a conclusion. Or if she doesn't have any, we already planned on how to clean this up. We just need her go signal." The public relations head worriedly suggested. They all love their boss, so they must do everything to save her from such scrutiny.

The public relations head smiled before leaving. All the employees are worried and even their relatives are worried too. They all knew that Song Xiulan was a good boss. They all thought that the angelic boss does not deserve such treatment.

"Did you received my email? I sent you a batch of photos. They are old though so take it as a grain of salt."

Hongqi scowled reading all of them. Most of them kept mentioning the word divorce and irritated him so badly! He kept scrolling and scrolling until he nervously slipped the phone when he suddenly heard Xiulan's voice. Just like a thief caught in stealing something, he nervously greeted her. "My love, you are awake."

"What are you doing with my phone?" Xiulan suspiciously looked at him before she stands up from the bed. She was still naked so Hongqi was distracted for a while. Add that she didn't even try to snatch her phone back. Hongqi expected Xiulan to make a fuss but she didn't and even stand up to get herself ready.

They were so busy rolling around the sheets every night that being naked was nothing to Xiulan anymore. But for Hongqi, he still get distracted whenever he sees her smooth curves and lovely plump parts.

"Your secretary called a while ago. I answered it for you and since I'm a nosy person, I had to check your messages as well. Hehe… sorry." Hongqi awkwardly apologized. He placed Xiulan's phone back on the night stand table. He stand up too and took a black robe to cover himself.

Xiulan was slowly covering herself with a white robe and lazily looked at him. "What did she say? "

"It's regarding the encounter between you and Gong Yuming. The video was now circulating in SNS." Hongqi explained. His gaze fixed on his wife's expression to read her emotions.

Xiulan still has that lazy look on her beautiful face. "Ah… I should quickly call her back. You should have woke me up." She walked back near the bed to get her phone from the table.

"I told you I was reading messages. Sorry." Hongqi apologized again. He knew very well that people don't like looking at their phones without any permission.

"That's fine. I'm not hiding anything except my business transactions. Which is of course are all directly received in my email and it has a double protection password." Xiulan explained. "I'm going to talk to Dandan. You can take a shower first."

Hongqi stared at his wife's retreating back and muttered to himself. "When will she ask me for help?"
