When Xiulan saw that Hongqi came home without any missing limbs and no stitches, she sighs in relief and put her concentration back to her work.

Earlier, she silently prayed that nothing bad happens to her husband while he meets a crime group. 

She heard a lot of the Goda family clan and they were quite infamous for being arrogant because of their leader's immense contribution to the country. They also have a lot of illegal businesses and notorious for murdering and silencing people. 

Her father met a lot of these types of people when she was still young. Her father shared a lot of gruesome stories about crime groups and she also managed to track down some when the government kept giving her hacking missions.

These types of crime groups were the type of people that a person should not befriend, yet her husband had to collaborate with one. It gave her a different level of anxiety.

"It's good that you are back early. I was feeling anxious that you meet up with the Goda clan." Xiulan mutters while she types very fast on her laptop.

Hongqi smiled. Hearing from her own lips that she was worried for the nth time made his heart warm for some reason. He sat beside her and tenderly wrapped his arms around her waist. He put his chin above her right shoulder. "It's great to know that you are worried about me. I lost count of how many times you said that. Isn't it sweet?"

Xiulan didn't want to entertain his teasing. She briefly glanced at him and put her attention back on the screen. "It's normal to be worried over a family member."

"A family member..." Hongqi mutters those words again. He's not sure what to feel about that.

"Anyway, after I'm done with this, we can travel to Tokyo so we can be ready for Disneyland tomorrow. I plan that we should go there in the morning so we can visit all the establishments inside." Xiulan mentions and quickly alt-tabbed on her laptop and showed him a list of their itinerary for tomorrow's Disneyland.

"That's a lot." Hongqi's bitter mood faded when he saw the list. He didn't understand most of the contents and he only understood the Star Tours which consist of Star Wars stuff. Anyway, he's fine with whatever his wife's planning, as long as he's with her.

"I drank a lot of remedies to fight exhaustion. This will be my third time in Disneyland and it will be quite special since I'm coming with a husband instead of my usual maiden family." Xiulan nonchalantly muttered. She didn't try to give any ambiguous meaning in her statement but for Hongqi, hearing those words made him warm again.

"Are you excited?" Hongqi asked, tightening his grip on her waist. His mood wasn't good after that meeting but slowly it's being melted by his wife's unintentional sweetness.

"Yeah! At least, I can bully you around instead of my sisters and mother dragging me to stuff that I don't want to see." Xiulan chuckled. This will be the best time to happily be merry and do whatever she wants in Disneyland. 

Back when she was young, her big sisters would drag her anywhere in Disneyland. The places she wasn't able to visit last time, she can visit all of them from now on. Especially now that she's married, she can make use of her husband as her chaperone and little slave.

"That's not nice to hear." Hongqi sulked but he was only joking. "Do whatever you want." Hongqi kissed her neck before lying down on the bed. He was kind of exhausted because of the events happened awhile ago. 

He had been doing a lot of strenuous and mentally challenging work. Add that the people involve in his businesses are wicked, evil people just like him. Fighting the same species is tiresome. He's always on guard and any time someone might betray him. They might be loyal now but people change and can be very greedy.

The meeting awhile ago gave him a slap of reality and made him realize that, again, he entered another risky challenge in his life. Working with a criminal group... again.

Working with the Han family was already risky. Add that he's now collaborating with an infamous and powerful yakuza. The anxiety he accumulated suddenly burst and he feels like he's gonna be sick.

Being with his wife was the only time he can unequip of that hard, shell guard he created. With her, he can be calm and just let go of all those strenuous thoughts. He has great trust towards his wife.

Xiulan glanced at her husband and checked his face. "He seems to be really tired. He's not like this yesterday." she subconsciously thought. She remembers her perverted ways yesterday and now he looks like a vegetable.

"I don't know what happened to your meeting awhile ago. I just want you to know that you should always be careful and don't strain yourself," she said and went to look for a mint ointment inside her expensive bag. She looked at him again and raised the ointment balm to him. "How about a massage?"

Hongqi gaped at his wife and for an unknown reason, he feels like his eyes are warm and about to tear up.

"She even knows that I have troubling thoughts..." He subconsciously thought. He only nodded and didn't say anything to her. But his heart… it's fluttering crazily. No woman ever cared for him like this.

He seriously felt like his eyes will tear up soon and he doesn't even know why. He quickly closed his eyes to prevent them from coming out and wait for his wife's touch.

Xiulan placed her laptop below the bed and scooted closer to Hongqi. She placed his head on a pillow to make him comfortable then she started massaging the top of his head, forehead, and temples up to his nape, and shoulders. 

The soothing touch and the mint's cooling effect immediately calmed Hongqi's anxiety. He's used to the luxurious massages from professional masseur and masseuse. His wife's massaging technique might be weak, sloppy and unprofessional but he gladly would choose her service.

Xiulan concentrates on her massaging when she noticed that Hongqi's right eye is glistening and a tear came out of it. She momentarily stops and checked his expression. It kind of surprised her.

Actually, Hongqi already fell asleep and he's not aware that that lone tear suddenly falls out from his eyes. Maybe due to his exhaustion, he quickly entered dreamland.

Xiulan didn't try to pry or tease him. He might be that cool, domineering, and threatening boss but he also has his sad days. 

She tugged on her long sleeves and used that as a cloth to wipe that lone tear. It's not right to use her fingers to wipe near his eyes since her hands are full of minty ointment. It would sting his eyes or make him blind.

Hongqi suddenly woke up from the random wiping and open his eyes to look at his wife. "What was that?" He fell asleep but due to his heightened sensitivity ever since he was young, he became a light sleeper and immediately wakes up when a foreign touch or feeling went near his body.

Xiulan only stared at him and she was not sure if she should tell him that he teared up. "I wiped something near your eyes." She smiled and quickly went back to massaging the sides of his neck down to his shoulders. She didn't explain what it was since it was awkward to point that it was a tear. 

Hongqi quickly touched where Xiulan wiped and it felt somewhat wet. He was slightly embarrassed that he actually teared up in front of his wife. He got slightly flustered and it was an obvious sight for Xiulan.

Xiulan didn't mind it and continue her massaging. "Your shoulders seem to be stressed. When a professional masseur massages you, make sure to use this ointment. I'm going to give you one once we come back to S city. The Song family has been using this for years and it always cures different types of stress on the muscles." 

Hongqi felt touched when his wife didn't try to ask him personal questions and stuff about his lone tear. Instead, she diverted the attention to something else. "Is that so? Alright. Thank you for taking care of me."

"My service is not free. Makes sure you take care of my father's company." Xiulan tried to lighten up since it's quite dramatic right now.

"Of course. I'll make sure your father's company will be number one this year or maybe next year." Hongqi chuckled. He can't believe she would ask him this instead of helping her directly in her company.

Xiulan smiled and didn't say anything anymore. It became silent for a moment but Hongqi suddenly blurted something weird and random again.

"Did you know? I secretly hit the lottery." 

Xiulan frowned from his sudden weird muttering. Then that frown became a surprise expression. "What? Really?!"

"I hit the lottery," he said again but he silently chuckled at her surprised reaction. He never thought that she would literally think that he really won a lottery. He was supposed to make a pickup line.

Xiulan is oblivious when a man is already flirting with her or trying to hit on her that's why she reacted quite differently and it made her more adorable.

"Really really!? How much did you win? What was the prize?" Xiulan was not sure where this conversation is going but she feels like she's also happy that he won a lottery even though he's already rich. 

Hongqi's pickup line was already spoilt by her so instead of continuing he decided to let her wild imagination takes its place.

"Secret. But it's something I will treasure greatly." He's smiling while he mutters those words. 

"Hmph! Stingy." Xiulan pouted that her husband didn't reveal what it was. She guessed that the prize might be something that only men desire like a sports car, more money related or a piece of land.

Hongqi only chuckled and gave a meaningful look at his wife before closing his eyes again. "You are the precious prize in that lottery, my love."
