Instead of going back to sleep, Xiulan decided to go to her office. It was really early and the security guard was so shocked that Xiulan was there by 5:30 am.

It was 7:30 am when Secretary Dandan arrived to work and she was so shocked that her boss was there before her.

"Boss, good morning! You're so early today." Dandan greeted.

"Morning as well, Dandan. I got up too early." Xiulan calmly greeted back.

Dandan nodded and briefly smiled at Xiulan before starting her tasks. It was only an hour that had past when a female employee suddenly dashed towards Dandan's table.

"Secretary Dandan, have you checked the internet? Our boss is all over the articles and trending!" the female employee gossiped.

"Huh?!" Secretary Dandan's was surprised. She suddenly panicked. What did her boss do?

"You didn't know? Her dinner photos with Hongqi went viral!" the female employee exaggeratedly said.

"Ah..." Dandan suddenly realized the issue. She thought that some people would post it in the internet but she wouldn't have thought that it will trend.

"What do you mean by 'ah'? Is this normal?" the female employee got confused by the very calm reaction of Secretary Dandan.

"Well, they really had dinner and I think that is normal. But the abnormal thing is why was it trending? I know someone would try to post their pictures because of Hongqi but to extent that it will trend? I think that's kind of exaggerating." Dandan can't help but be doubtful.

"It's Gong Yuming's fans! They started to bash our boss. Good thing our boss' name was not mentioned. They only added that she was an IT company president. Yuming's fans are raging that a nobody was trying to snatch Hongqi away from their goddess Yuming! That's why it has caught a lot of nosy media and netizens! It was crazy!" The female employee exasperatedly spoke.

Dandan can't help but snort by these ridiculous claims of Gong Yuming's fans but at the same time she's angry that they are trying to slander her boss.

What do they mean by snatch? Their goddess snatched Hongqi from his previous lover. Why didn't they comment about that? Crazy stupid fans.

"Aren't they supposed to say that to their idol? We all know Yuming did it dirty just to get Hongqi." Dandan can't help but criticize the harlot Yuming.

"Her fans will never talk about that. It's like a great taboo. I know someone who is a huge fan of Gong Yuming. They worship her too much, it was insane." The female employee shuddered.

Dandan can't help but snicker and mock those crazy fans. They should know how awful that lady was.

"Let's just ignore it. Boss Xiulan is unbothered by it and we should too." Dandan calmly said. Her boss didn't mention anything awhile ago and she seems to be very busy and looks fine.

As expected from her Boss Xiulan. She's really cool. Dandan can't help but praise her boss.

The female employee was about to leave Dandan and go back to work when a beautiful woman, who looks like in her 40s, wearing a long turquoise dress suddenly appeared. Dandan and the female employee can't help but gawk at her.

"Is Xiulan in her office?" the beautiful woman elegantly asked.

"Y-yes! Yes!" both Dandan and the employee exclaimed in sync.

The elegant woman smiled at them before stepping inside Xiulan's office.

The female employee can't help but to squeal. "Oh my God! Is that Song Nuo Shu? I can't believe I will ever see her here in the office. Oh my God. The articles might be a huge problem. She won't come here without a reason."

Dandan suddenly became worried over her boss. It must be a serious problem… For a family member come directly in their office, it must be something serious. This never happened before.

Xiulan only glanced at her eldest sister, Song Nuo Shu, when she came in. Her eldest sister had this intimidating aura that can compete with the madams in drama series.

"You look unbothered and calm as always." her eldest sister implied.

"Hmmm..." Xiulan nonchalantly answered.

"You do know that your photos with Hongqi are all over the internet, right?" Song Nuo Shu probed.

"En."

"Aren't you too calm? A certain celebrity's fans are bashing you." Nuo Shu can't help but be concerned over Xiulan's calm mood.

"En. My name is not mentioned in any articles anyway. If they ever found out who I really am, the issue might be buried by then. Netizens will forget about that after a few days, don't worry." Xiulan calmly explained to her sister.

"But dad is deeply worried!" Nuo Shu retorted. If her sister is not bothered, their family is deeply bothered!

"Tell him not to get worried. I can manage." Xiulan can't help but get slightly annoyed.

"Ugh." Xiulan can't help but to grunt. Her sister was just teasing her. Regarding the negative comments, she only ignored them.

"I'm trying to find a right time to say it to him. He was so happy these past few days." Xiulan thought of her father. He was so happy and she doesn't want to burst that happiness so early.

"Aren't you such a dutiful daughter?" Nuo Shu gave griming look to her sister. She can never understand her little sister's mood.

"To be honest, I don't care to whom I will get married. It's just that Hongqi is too pompous and flirty. I can't deal with a man like him." Xiulan honestly confessed.

"Little sis, I can't believe you are this cold. This is marriage we are talking about." Nuo Shu was slightly shocked by her sister's confession. When she had her arrange marriage, she felt like suffocating. But looking at her sister now, she felt like she's too heartless.

"I don't have any personal principles when it comes to marriage anyway." Xiulan coldly said.

It's actually true. Marriage never crossed her mind. She's only considering it because of her parents. But the one they like for her was so damn annoying and suspicious.

"Wow. Are you even really my sister? So cold." Nuo Shu muttered. Her sister is definitely the epitome of a cold woman.

"By the way, he's like a king so obviously he's like that. But I think he has more good qualities." Nuo Shu added.

"He's actually really nice, generous and a gentleman. A little bit of a pervert though. But overall, I understand why a woman likes him. But he's just too suspicious for me." Xiulan implied.

"You'll get used to it. But let's be serious here. We're joking like this marriage of yours will never happen. You should convince dad if you don't want to get married to Hongqi. I think he can do something about it." Nuo Shu really wanted to understand her sister's situation. She said she doesn't want to marry Hongqi but she's not even trying to be one bit rebellious.

"You know I'm really lazy in contradicting dad." Xiulan leisurely said.

"Then what are you gonna do?" Nuo Shu's patiently asked.

"It's not like I'm gonna get married soon and it's only been 4 days since we met personally. Time will past and let Hongqi get bored over me. Then viola, no more marriage. I'm sure he's just being polite with dad." Xiulan nonchalantly said.

Xiulan suddenly thought of Hongqi's relationships. They didn't even last that long. So this matter will end in no time.

"I know Hongqi wouldn't be persuaded without anything monetary. He didn't want to be pestered before and he only obliged because dad offered him that he was in advantage of. I'm sure that transaction they had is now in the works. Haven't you thought about that? That's why you need to convince dad." Nuo Shu explained.

Xiulan suddenly realized that.

"I will pay." Xiulan concluded.

"My sister, I'm pretty sure our family and you can pay but it's too complicated. We're talking about Xing Hongqi here. All of his transactions are worth millions or billions." Nuo Shu informed.

"Tell me, why did dad have to go such lengths to make him as his son-in-law? Was he blind? Are his cataracts that unwell?" Xiulan can't help but criticize her father's sudden plans. Xiulan's irritation suddenly rises.

She suddenly felt trapped in a difficult situation.

"He wanted a son-in-law who is good in business. All of his present son-in-laws are up to no good, including my husband." Nuo Shu seriously said and there was a tinge of bitterness in her tone.

Xiulan can't help but to snort. She thought that her father was really childish this time, extremely childish!

"I can't believe that's my problem now." Xiulan sarcastically said. She can't believe she's having these problems because of her father's impractical desires.

"Master Hongqi, what should we do with the articles?" Secretary Yang Bo inquired.

"Take down the negative comments and shady articles. Make sure the photos that are too HD will be removed. I don't want Xiulan to be the subject of any of these discussions again. Make sure that her name will never be mentioned." Hongqi commanded grandly.

Yang Bo nodded and proceeded to his tasks.

"Aren't you sweet? Protecting your future wife." Wen Wuzhou teasingly said to Hongqi while sipping his gin. Wen Wuzhou is the richest man in N city and a notorious player. He graduated from a prestigious medical school and has doctor's license but was never seen practicing it.

Hongqi and his rich clique are currently in a high class exclusive lounge. It was only afternoon but the party was already wild. It was still early so there weren't any high class escorts in their lounge yet.

They were all talking about business and new upcoming deals when Hongqi received an unpleasant news regarding Gong Yuming's fans and their involvement to Xiulan's current unwanted internet fame.

It's a good thing that people who are familiar with Xiulan never uttered a word about her name." Hongqi said and sipped on his very expensive brandy.

"I'm still confused why you decided to get married. A lot of noble families tried their luck but only this time you obliged. The funny thing here is that you're directly getting married. Not even an engagement but directly to a wedding." Wen Wuzhou laughed and can't help but be amazed to his best friend's situation.

"The old Song proposed a very great deal. He pestered me for two years and that's enough to know that he was really willing to hand his company to me if I agreed to marry his youngest daughter." Hongqi shared.

"Wow! He did? But the Songs are not as rich as before but still very rich. Master Yingpei is not a politician anymore but his connections and reputation never wavered. To be honest, their political image is undeniably really great. For the past 40 years, they have the cleanest background for a business and political family." Wuzhou informed. Their clique has a great respect to the Song family.
