It's already past 11 PM. Xiulan lazily plop on her bed and took a quick nap before she takes a bath. She must rest her eyes first before she plunges her whole head in the bathtub later. She doesn't want to shock the nerves and further damage her eyes since she's in front of her laptop for almost 12 hours.

She just came back from her parents' house to personally send them the wedding photos that Hongqi sent to her this morning. Her family happily fusses over the wedding photos. Mother Song Qingge also occasionally lectured Xiulan to be cautious of Hongqi.

Xiulan was so exhausted from her mother's nagging. Mother Qingge kept telling her to never put her guard down now that she's married to a man like Xing Hongqi.

"Even though you are Xing Xiulan now, you must always remember that name is just for decoration." Mother Qingge thoroughly lectured Xiulan. Those words kept repeating inside her head and reminding her like it was some kind of curse.

Xiulan was almost heavily asleep when she suddenly hear her phone ringing continuously and her head suddenly submerges in a pool of water. She was so shocked by the sudden impact of the water inside her nostrils.

*Aggressively coughs*

She kept coughing and sneezing the water out. "What the hell? When did I come inside the bathroom?" Xiulan confusedly asks herself. She must have been so exhausted that she sleepwalked going to the bathroom.

The annoying and continuous ringing of her phone caught her attention and she vividly saw her phone screen; "Xing Hongqi calling".

Though they are married, she didn't bother changing Hongqi's name into more endearing or cute name in her phone contacts.

Xiulan carefully stretches her arms to get her phone and contemptuously stared at the screen before she finally decided to answer it.

"Yes?" Xiulan lazily asked and gravely plastered an annoying expression. "What does he want so late at night?" she scornfully thought.

"Ah finally, Mrs. Xing?" the man in the other line said and it's not Hongqi. There was an obvious impatience in his voice. The unknown man has been trying to call her for ten minutes straight.

"Yes, this is Mrs. Xing. May I ask why you have my husband's phone?" It sounded very weird to say 'my husband' and it left an uncomfortable feeling in her mouth. Xiulan didn't want to say 'my husband' but she must live up to her Mrs. Xing persona.

"This is Hongqi's good friend Wu Tung-Yi. Mrs. Xing, your husband is currently really drunk. We wanted to leave him in his nearby penthouse but he kept asking for you to fetch him. He firmly said that he will not leave this place unless you get him." Tung-Yi tried to have a magnanimous and convincing tone. Tung-Yi only obliged in involving himself to Hongqi's wicked plans because he was really curious about Xiulan.

Earlier, Hongqi asked Tung-Yi to call Xiulan and ask her to fetch Hongqi in Good Blue bar in T city. It'll take an hour or so if they are coming from S city. Tung-Yi was not 100% sure of Hongqi's plans but he believes that this wicked friend of his won't harm his wife. Also. Tung-Yi was really curious if Xiulan would stake driving in midnight just to get Hongqi.

Xiulan rolled her eyes in irritation. "Is he seriously asking me to drive to T city, very late at night, just to get his ass out of there? Why not call his secretary?" Xiulan disdainfully uttered to herself. She's not sure what Hongqi is planning but she's sure this is a part of whatever wicked plans he has to get that Mayor position. She must at least do this simple favors for him. As long as they are simple and easy task, she will do it. She's also sure that Hongqi will not harm her. She just needs to be careful in driving.

"Alright. Please send me the address. I'll be there in an hour or so. Also, please put him somewhere comfortable." Xiulan indifferently said but also gave off a caring tone. Xiulan is not sure if Hongqi is only faking that he was drunk or he really was. But either of the two, she wants him to be in a comfortable seat before she fetches him. She doesn't want him vomiting all over her car.

The phone was in a loud speaker mode so Hongqi also heard Xiulan's indifferent but caring words. He really did not expect that she will agree so easily. He was expecting that his little wife would pull a tantrum before she finally agrees. But instead she agreed so fast and even asked Tung-Yi to put him in a comfortable place to rest.

Hongqi was not sure if Xiulan was just really smart that she already got the message that she needs to act as a good wife now or she's just a really nice woman.

Tung-Yi was also surprised. There's no woman in his life who would dare to drive so late at night just to fetch him without any ill thoughts and with such caring words. Tung-Yi wanted this kind of girl in his life. He's so fed up with girls who only want his money and body. Usually they will do the same thing but they have all wicked intentions.

"Okay. Thank you. Please take care and drive safely." Tung-Yi reminded before be ended the call.

Tung-Yi enviously glared at Hongqi. "Aren't you a lucky bastard? I know both of you don't have feelings for each other but the mere fact that she would drive here just to get you really ticks me off." Tung-Yi was definitely jealous. Xiulan's close up wedding photos keeps on flashing in Tung-Yi's head. That beauty would willingly follow Hongqi's demands like a fool. What a waste.

"Then get one." Hongqi coldly said and he started drinking the tall glass full of hard Belgian beer.

"Where will I get someone who will cooperate like your wife?" Tung-Yi stressed.

Hongqi didn't answer but he has that smug face that irritated Tung-Yi so much.

Because Xiulan was in a hurry to fetch that wretched man so she can sleep soon; she was in a hurry put on a sleeveless fitted gray dress that ends until her calf and she tops it with a medium size denim jacket to warm herself from the late night weather.

The jacket was a little big for Xiulan's physique but it was not awkward to look at. Then she wore a white Hermès oran sandals that she saw lying around in her room. She also wears her prescription glasses.

As soon as she laid her butt inside her car, a white Mercedes Benz that she rarely uses since she often uses Uber instead, she quickly throttles the car and speed up to city T.

After forty five minutes. Xiulan is now in the vicinity of city T and saw the lavish entrance of Good Blue bar and the long queue with women dressed like there was a scarcity of cloth. Their dresses were so short and so uncomfortable to move at.

Xiulan silently curses. She doesn't know how she can get in. Does she have to introduce herself as Hongqi's wife? She's not the type to use her family or friends' powerful name just to have a privilege but it looks like she needs it now to enter the bar.

She made a quick Baidu search about Good Blue bar and it's true that only people who are influential members can enter. A non-influential person can enter by invitation or by name dropping a close influential friend that has a membership in Good Blue bar.

Xiulan pursed her lips while reading. She suddenly thought of Hongqi's sober friend, Tung-Yi. He can help her get inside but she doesn't know his phone number. She might as well call Hongqi's phone and pray that Tung-Yi will be able to answer it.

After five rings, someone finally answers.

"Mrs. Xing." Tung-Yi politely greeted.

Xiulan sighed in relief. "Hi, Mr. Wu. I'm outside Good Blue bar. I am not sure how I can enter the bar." Xiulan stressed.

"That fast? Alright. I'll get you there." Tung-Yi stands up from his seat and went to get Xiulan.

"I'll be at the left side of the entrance, slightly away from the queue line." Xiulan informed.

Xiulan got out of her car and waited for Tung-Yi near the bar's entrance.

Tung-Yi was searching for Xiulan when his eyes got caught by a woman wearing a denim jacket and gray dress. Her skin was healthily glowing under the dimly light and her lips were red because of the cold night.

"She looks better in person." Tung-Yi can't help but utter it to himself. The woman in the photos earlier is now in front of him and he just can't believe that she looks better in person.

"Mrs. Xing?" Tung-Yi asked while he approaches Xiulan.

Xiulan heard her name and looked at the person who called her. She's not familiar with Tung-Yi's face so it took her a few seconds to answer.

"Are you Mr. Wu?" Xiulan asked and brightly stared at Tung-Yi. She finally found the person to get Hongqi's ass out of here. She just wants to sleep already.

"Uh…" Tung-Yi was a little dumbfounded by Xiulan's beauty. Very regal and natural.

"How can that bastard be this lucky? And what the hell with the Song family? They have kept this beauty too secretly. Very unfair!" Tung-Yi complained secretly in his heart and curses Hongqi.
