Lü Dongbin laughed out loud, “Since you could repel the legion of the Alliance all by yourself, not even Grand Luo would match your strength. The Alliance would not be a match for you even if they returned.”

“That might not be certain.”

Jiang He said, humbling himself, “I'm just a Golden Immortal who has cultivated less than a year. If there were dozens of other Golden Immortals at the level of the White Sky God King and Modolo trying to surround and kill me while wielding various paragon treasures, I could hardly fend for myself.”

Both Lü Dongbin and the other Golden Immortals was left unsure what to say just then.

Still, Lü Dongbin managed to muster an awkward but polite smile while quietly saying, “You might not be aware, Brother Jiang He, but Golden Immortals like White Sky God King and Modolo… are not more than a handful even across worlds.”

“For real?”

He shook his head, a rather lonely expression appearing on his face then.

Inviting Jiang He to take a seat, Lü Dongbin blissfully raised his goblet and chugged three fillings of wine, before pouring Jiang He some, “Brother Jiang He, allowed me to raise a toast in your honor for protecting our homeworld.”

“You are too kind, Elder Lü. Earth is my homeworld too, not to mention that fighting the legion of the Alliance is a mere afterthought and doesn't amount to much.”

Jiang He waved him off with a nonchalant look.

Previously, Lü Dongbin had carefreely accepted Jiang He addressing him as Elder, but he now promptly refused and said, “There is no seniority in the path of Dao. Brother Jiang He, since you are a full-fledged Golden Immortal and your strength is above mine, you and I should address each other as fellow brothers.”

Hence, the banquet that the Taixu Sect held in honor of the returning immortals became a feast for celebration.

As everyone ate and drank their fill, immortal ladies and immortal swordsman entertained the guest with their sword dances, making it extraordinarily lively. Humans were strong with the backing of the Six Holies and many superior beings, but the situation at the celestial battlefield was not exactly ideal, since they had to fight many other races led by the God race and Demon Race.

Jiang He was not bothered about that, however, and focused on what he needed.

He pressed, “Brother Pure Yang, since you had been on the battlefield and done battle with Gods and Demons, do you know if you could harvest the corpses of their Heavenly Immortals?”

Lü Dongbin shook his head in reply. “Though I had killed many of their kind, I cannot enter the battlefield of the Heavenly Immortals.”

Beneath them, a Heavenly Immortal rose and said, “I have the corpse of a Heavenly Immortal Demon, Lord Jiang He.”

That Heavenly Immortal appeared middle-aged and he approached Jiang He, waving to take out a rather mangled body. “This is a Demon whom I had slain thirty years ago in the battlefield of Heavenly Immortals. I had been wounded lightly at the time as well, and returned here to our homeworld when I recovered. That was why I have yet to claim military merits with this corpse, but you may take this if you need it, my lord.”

The corpse was still wearing a broken set of armor, but it had the distinct attributes of a Demon: pitch-black skin, faint Demonic Qi swirling around its body, and a weak strand of Demonic Might even though it had been dead for thirty years.

Naturally, that level of pressure was nothing to the other immortals present.

All at once, around eight more immortals stood up, bringing out either Demon or God corpses that they had collected.

There were even Golden Immortal and True Immortals who had brought their own God or Demon corpses of the same tier.

After all, they had all fought on the celestial battlefield—mainly against the Gods and Demons, which was reasonable that they would have corpses of both races.

With those corpses, Jiang He could level up his Farm. Even if he had enough of those to do so, he bought everything since the immortals had given them to him.

Smiling, Jiang He said, “I'm not sure how much these corpses would cost, so everyone should call a price, and I'll buy off every corpse from your hands.”

The immortals, however, offered to give it to Jiang He for free without taking a single piece of immortal crystal.

Naturally, Jiang He did not agree to that.

He did not like owing favors, not to mention that these immortals had collected those corpses from the celestial battlefield by putting their lives on the line.

“Well… I won't ask about the specific prices, so let's trade them instead.”

Nonchalantly taking out eight superior-grade and premium-grade immortal items, he said, “I'll exchange one superior-grade immortal item for one True Immortal god or demon corpse, and a premium-grade immortal item for a Golden Immortal corpse… alright, stop refusing me. Then, feeling some explanation was necessary as the many immortals gave him weird looks, he added, “Actually, this has something to do with the item refinement method I created myself… I had already mastered it, and after my cultivation improved, I could naturally craft stronger weapons.”

Some immortals who were learned at item refinement stared at Jiang He…

“That being said, there is no hurry to ascend as a Grand Luo for now… I need to plant the treasures such as the immortal crystals I have on hand. After earning a load of Farm Points, I shall increase my Farm Level to seven, and only then should I consider ascension to Grand Luo.”

At the moment, Earth was at peace.
