Inside the Song Jia Sect...

"Intruders...!" Just as a man was about to shout, an arrow shot through his throat.

Immediately after, many of Gu Hai's men rushed over, eying the two men who had just fought with that Song Jia Sect disciple.

"Be careful!" said Gao Xianzhi said seriously. The arrow had basically stopped the alarm from spreading.

"Captain, they are very alert here, it appears we have found our target!" one of Gao Xianzhi's men spoke up excitedly.

"Hurry up, we don't have much time!" warned Gao Xianzhi quickly.

"Yes, sir!"

Outside, at 28x28 Heaven and Earth Grand Array...

"Fire!" Scar ordered a volley of arrows.

A thousand or so arrows rained down from within the grand array that was covered in a veil of red and white intermixed clouds, shooting straight towards the black-robed man who was floating in the air.

"There are so many people, huh? Go!" the black-robed sounded cold as he waved his hand, forming a wall of qi.

The thousand arrows burst apart, while a large number of their splinters shot back towards the array.

"Continue to fire!" Scar's voice rang out once again.

The arrows continued to rain down on the black-robed man, and the black-robed man waved his hand again and again, to block. Looking at the array, his face grew darker.

The circling clouds around the array were not allowing the poisonous mist released by the black-robed man to seep through. In fact, his mist was slowly circling with the clouds around the array. The entirety of the poisonous mist had been blocked by the grand array. As it spun, the poisonous mist proliferated in all directions, even spreading to the crowd of Song Jia Sect disciples.

"Ah, ka ka ka ka!" some of the Song Jia Sect disciples painfully grabbed their throats as their faces turned bright red and blue from suffocation.

Not far away, some of the mortal citizens were also affected by just a sliver of poisonous qi, but their entire bodies turned blue in a flash. They fell down on the ground, foaming at the mouth. Each and every one of them had stopped breathing, without exception. In just moments, hundreds of mortals were already dead.

"Ancestor, we are poisoned, help me!" the crowd of poisoned Song Jia Sect disciples cried out in alarm.

"You have my blood essence in you, you won't die, hmph! Wastrels!" the black-robed man rebuked coldly.

Turning his attention back, he studied the strange array. The incoming arrows from everywhere were annoying him even more.

"Hmph, a bunch of ants, you are getting in way over your heads! RAIN!" the black-robed man's voice rang out, cold and mighty.

Suddenly, dense dark clouds appeared in the sky, covering the sky and the sun. In the blink of an eye, billowing dark clouds covered the entire array.

Glaring flashes of blue lights glittered within the dark clouds again and again as a rainstorm came pouring down.

The rainstorm came crashing down straight at the grand array. The violent storm was just like a waterfall, surging and thundering.

"He truly is the flood dragon!" Inside the grand array, Shangguan Hen's countenance changed.

As the thundering rainstorm pounded down on the array, Gu Hai, through the weiqi board-shaped matix, slowly controlled the array.

The torrential rain was isolated just outside the array, unable to breach even a bit. The flooding water around the valley kept on rising and rising, but not a drop of water was able to enter the grand array.

"What a terrific array! A pretty good array indeed! Kid, you have the qualifications to know my name. Remember me, my name is 'Fu Xue'! As for your Ascendant Hall Lord, she is already dead, hahaha!" the black-robed proclaimed, a cold smile on his lips.

While speaking, he finally took action personally. Stretching his hand out, he suddenly smacked a palm towards the grand array with a loud thunderclap. A red hand was congealed in the air, pressing down on the array, as if it would crush the entire array at once.

With just the appearance of the palm, the air was distorted. Raging gales burst forth from the palm, blowing the rain away.

At the sight of this, the distant crowd of Song Jia Sect disciples had a shocked look on their faces.

"Ancestor is actually so powerful?"

"I didn't see such a powerful air even around the Chief!"

"Will the grand array be broken?"...

Just as it appeared that the palm would crash on to the array, the billowing clouds of the array suddenly stirred.

"With such big strength, I can remove a mountain; With the lofty quality, I am matchless in the world!" a thunderous shout rang out from the array, before a Fang Tian Hua halberd rose into the sky, sweeping straight into the red palm, and breaking it apart with a deafening thunderclap. The Fang Tian Hua halberd momentum wasn't ablated, it soared straight at the black-robed Fu Xue.

"Huh?" Fu Xue's countenance fell as he punched at it.

BOOM!

Much to everyone's surprise, the Fang Tian Hua halberd pushed Fu Xue back.

The flood dragon was pushed back?

"My Lord!" Chen Tianshan cried out with joy.

"Cut the crap, urge everyone to quickly move, this Fu Xue is far more terrifying that Meng Tai!" Gu Hai turned his head and said.

"Yes!" Chen Tianshan said, surprised.

Below, the congregation of Gu Hai's men was directed into the mine.

Gu Hai, on the other hand, slowly entered the hundred zhang-tall Xiang Yu.

The cloud general Xiang Yu slowly floated out of the array, coldly looking at the Fu Xue before him with the Fang Tian Hua halberd in his hand.

Having been just pushed back, Fu Xue's face darkened at once.

He gave out a deafening roar immediately. With his roar, the dark clouds blotting the sky were suddenly stirred as a lightning bolt came crashing down on cloud general Xiang Yu!

BOOM!

Xiang Yu thrust the halberd up as a powerful streak of qi soared into the sky, with a might similar to when the heaven and earth were separated. The lightning bolt was blasted into nothing in mid-air.

Fu Xue roared once again. His figure quivered, before he transformed into a five hundred zhang-long black flood dragon!

Hovering in the sky, the flood dragon roared at Xiang Yu. Following his roar, a storming, imposing aura rose from his body. Seeing this, the far away Song Jia Sect disciples knelt down one after another in terror.

"A few months back, I saw this ugly form of yours. Filthy beast, go to hell!" Gu Hai shouted at it.

BOOM!

The flood dragon swung its tail down with a thunderclap. Just as its dragon's tail came crashing down, five bolts of lightning were drawn from the sky along with it.

"I, Xiang Yu am here, break for me!!" the cloud general Xiang Yu roared in fury.

The Fang Tian Hua halberd slashed out once again.

BOOM!

Immediately after, the lightning bolts burst apart with a deafening thunderclap, while the Fang Tian Hua halberd, with no change in its momentum, clashed with the flood dragon's tail.

BOOM!

Owing to the subsequent clash, the mountains and the ground around them began to shake. As for the dragon's tail and the Fang Tian Hua halberd, they both were knocked back.

Nonetheless, Gu Hai continued to look at Fu Xue with angry eyes. The flood dragon, on the other hand, was looking at its own tail. His face grew more ruthless, for a small cut had appeared on his tail.

Although it was just a small wound, he was injured, nonetheless!

Fu Xue glowered at Gu Hai, his heart in a turmoil. He had realized that the array was pretty formidable, but he had never expected it to be so over the top.

This powerful body of mine has actually been injured?

As aggressive as Gu Hai looked on the surface, he was feeling equally anxious. The flood dragon's strength was beyond his expectations.

Facing Nascent Soul cultivators like Meng Tai and Li Wei, Gu Hai was confident that he could kill them with just one strike of the halberd. However, a similar strike had only left an insignificant wound behind on the flood dragon!

More importantly, the spirit stones from the mine would not continue to support cloud general Xiang Yu endlessly. How long can I still hold on?

The flood dragon looked furious. He let out a deafening roar as he clawed at Gu Hai once again.

Gu Hai was waiting intently.

"I am the Hegemon-King of Western Chu, wretched vermin, you dare to act so presumptuous in front of me!" the cloud general Xiang Yu roared aloud.

Suddenly, the Fang Tian Hua halberd began to dance. For a moment, the Fang Tian Hua halberd was just like the punishment meted out by the gods themselves. It continued to clash with the flood dragon and the bolts of lightning again and again.

Under the heavy rain, with the ground was flooded with water, the entire battlefield had turned completely muddy.

As expected of a flood dragon, it had its own aggressiveness. The more injured it got, the fiercer it became. Drawing down the lightning bolts, again and again, it kept on attacking Xiang Yu continuously.

Whereas the dancing Fang Tian Hua halberd of Xiang Yu was just like a meat grinder. Again and again, it clashed vigorously with the lightning and the flood dragon, the battle between both sides only growing more intense. Some of the hills in their vicinity had been completely devastated.

The torrential rain added much to the chaos. Everywhere was flooded with water.

"Ah, retreat quickly!"

"Go back!"

The crowd of Song Jia Sect disciples retreated, panic-stricken.

They were simply unable to rush into the 28x28 Heaven and Earth Grand Array. Furthermore, more arrows came raining down at them. The aftermath of Gu Hai and the flood dragon was exceptionally terrifying, they were now unable to approach the battlefield.

Everyone kept on watching with widened eyes as they retreated. The battle before them had surpassed their imagination!

"Gu Hai, Gu Hai sure is fierce!"

"Fortunately, I didn't rush into the array!"

"How nice it would be if I could eat his heart and liver!"

"It must be very delicious!"...

The crowd of Song Jia Sect disciples marveled again and again at the scene before their eyes as they retreated.
