Chapter 105 - Preparing to Enter the Song Jia Sect

There was a gloomy mountain valley currently covered in dense, dark clouds. A team of demonized Song Jia Sect disciples was transporting a hundred unconscious men into a small blood pool. They were soaked in this blood pool up to their necks, and only their heads were visible.

Having finished transporting them, the congregation of demonized men looked respectfully to a black-robed figure.

The black-robed figure's skin was dark, and there was a sinister cold look in his eyes. On his left eye, there was a scar, giving the man a rather hideous appearance.

"Ancestor, this is the latest batch of disciples. The blood pool is also filled up to the brim with human blood. They are already unconscious. All that is left is for the ancestor to transform them!" a demonized disciple reported respectfully.

Having done this, the black-robed man gave out a yell. Green balls of light emerged from the heads of comatose men, one after another. The balls of light were transparent, and only under the red threads of energy did they appear distinct.

Suddenly, the groups of light balls rushed straight into the black-robed man's mouth one after another. In the wink of an eye, all the balls of light had been swallowed by the black-robed men.

Having eaten the balls of light, the black-robed man slowly forced out a drop of blood essence from his fingertip.

"Ancestor!" At the entrance of the palace, a group of the demonized men greeted him respectfully.

"Did you get anything?" the black-robed man asked in a deep voice.

"Not yet, ancestor! They have dragon talismans on them, we didn't dare to use excessive means!" that man replied respectfully.

Hearing this, the black-robed men knit his brow tightly and said, "Dragon talismans, huh? Long Wanqing's grandfather actually sent his personal guards to protect Long Wangqin? If they are dead or crippled, Long Wanqing's grandfather will come to know. Therefore, they can neither be crippled nor allowed to die!"

"Oh, but then, we won't get anything from our torture!" That demonized man's countenance turned ugly as he realized the fact.

"Don't whine to me about the results, that's your problem! I gave you power, not for complaining!" the black-robed man rebuked in a cold voice.

A frown appeared on the demonized man's brow as he answered, "Chief was probably not able to get the whereabouts of that monk!"

"Very well! You can leave now, I still have to refine the human souls!" the black-robed man ordered calmly.

"Yes, Ancestor!" The congregation of demonized disciples withdrew right away.

Slowly making his way into the Song Jia Palace, the black-robed man closed the door and sat down in the lotus position. A sneer immediately appeared on his lips. "Stupid humans, ha!"

Outside the Song Jia Sect...

Gu Hai was gazing into the distance, looking at the groups of citizens who were being driven into the Song Jia Sect.

"My Lord, this Golden Chrysalis Array has cut off the Song Jia Sect from the outside completely. That is the only entrance. What should we do?" Chen Tianshan asked, a complex look on his face.

"Only one entrance, are we really going to go in?" Gao Xianzhi asked with a similarly complex look on his face.

Gu Hai nodded his acknowledgment.

"But we will need a huge amount of spirit stones for that.." Gao Xianzhi's face changed a bit.

"We sure do!" Gu Hai nodded his confirmation.

"Spirit stones? There is spirit stone mine over there, that's the largest spirit stone mine of the Song Jia Sect! It's not inside the Golden Chrysalis Array..." said Chen Tianshan, pointing at a nearby location.

"Yes, my Lord!" Shangguan Hen affirmed respectfully.

"Chen Tianshan, Scar, take the Earth and Void companies with you, you are responsible for dealing with these eight hundred Song Jia Sect disciples. It's almost two against one, will that be a problem?" Gu Hai looked at the pair.

"My Lord, don't worry, there won't be any problem!" the two replied right away.

"I want it to be done silently!" Gu Hai emphasized in a deep voice.

"Ah!" The two were slightly worried. After all, how could dealing with eight hundred men be done without any commotion?

"You have one day to investigate each and every target in detail. Give your subordinates respective targets. And without any unrest, they should follow their own targets and attack them at night. Will this do?" Gu Hai asked calmly.

Gu Hai also walked around the spirit stone mine, looking all around at his busy men.

In just two hours, Shangguan Hen came running up. "My Lord, it's done!"

"Rise!" Gu Hai shouted.

Suddenly, churning clouds of mist emerged all around the spirit stone mine. However, under the dark cover of the night, the billowing mist was not that apparent yet.

After the preliminary array had been laid out, Gu Hai began to order his men to bury spirit stones again, arranging the complex part of the array. The men were completely up to their ears in work.

The next morning...

One of Gu Hai's men, wearing Song Jia Sect disciples clothes, with some other men holding long whips, was escorting a group of 'citizens' towards the entrance of the Song Jia Sect. Gao Xianzhi was hiding among these 'citizens'.

Apart from Gao Xianzhi, there were several other teams of Song Jia Sect disciples who had returned after capturing the mortal citizens.

At daybreak, the sun came up, basking the land in its glory, illuminating in all directions...

"Wait, why is there so much fog over there?"

"It appears to be an array!"

"Array? Why is an array there?"...

Immediately, many Song Jia Sect disciples discovered the abnormality of Gu Hai's array around their spirit stone mine.

"Let's go, take a look!" Some Song Jia Sect disciples quickly rushed towards Gu Hai's position from the sect.
