Chapter 8 {The Hunt}

"Is everyone here alright everyone will be in a group of five do you understand me!" Warren shouted at his students the groups where simple Lorenzo, Sawyer, Spencer, Emma, and Grace were in the same group all of them stared at each other and Sawyer sighed as he closed his eyes and he crossed his arms.

"I think that Lorenzo should be the leader."

"Disagree," Emma said.

"Why do you disagree?" Spencer snapped.

"Humph his a Layin Grass type master and I am a dragon type which is known to be the strongest Warrior Spirit even through it's rare among humans but still I am-"

"No way we won't follow a snob," Sawyer whined.

"Sawyer don't act like this humph I am the leader!"

"I disagree with all of you," Grace said.

"Wait why?" Everyone asked.

"I think Lorenzo has leadership but you don't Emma I believe he will protect us but I don't trust you do the same," Grace said and she turned her head.

"So it's spoken Lorenzo is the team leader and I am the vice leader," Spencer said.

Emma clenched her jaw tightly but she didn't say a single word the kids were given a map and a guide who would follow them in the shadows. Lorenzo stepped outside and he took a deep breath as the wind blew. He heard birds singing Lorenzo followed the path on the map and he walked along a river side he didn't see any animals none of the kids had holu rings yet but some might end up finding something. The forest was quiet and everything seemed so peaceful his eyes wondered around as if he could sense something troubling him but he shook that idea off and kept on walking. Everyone stopped for lunch break everyone staffed their faces hiking for six hours straight that's a lot for a seven year old. Lorenzo was sitting near a rock as he stared at the water he was holding his water in his right hand as he skipped stones and he narrowed his eyes before he frowned when something is in the water. Wait a moment when they were out they saw a newspaper and news on soul tv talking about a mysterious creature devouring kids. Lorenzo stepped forward.

"It's dangerous don't go," a voice whispered in his head.

He turned around to see who it was and he didn't see anyone.

Dangerous?

"Teacher something is in the water," Lorenzo mattered.

"Let's live it be."

Lorenzo just couldn't do that he found it strange that he could sense danger before he then turned around so fast and held out his hand as he was dragged away by a mist. Their guide let out a shout. Lorenzo held out his hand as he kept going under the water and coming back up.

"Ahhh Teacher Carter help me!"

Carter took off his clothes and he jumped into the water. Lorenzo held out his hand as he tried to speak and his eyes became foggy suddenly he saw a girl jumping into the water is this Emma no way that girl is way to self center for her to jump into the water. Lorenzo slowly fainted. The young girl last night touched Lorenzo hand and she pulled him closer to her chest. She held out her hand as a spear appeared she threw it forward without a second though she then swim up as the mysterious creature grabbed on she let out a scream but threw Lorenzo in the air without thinking about herself she kept on sinking deeper and deeper into the water. Lorenzo was courted by Carter who pushed on Lorenzo chest he coughed and Lorenzo pointed into the water.

"Someone is in there they must have saved me."

Suddenly Carter felt pushed away by a mysterious power. What is this wait for a moment for those people from there?

"Teacher who are they!" Emma shouted.

"All of us need to go!" Carter if it's not wrong those people are known to hunt powerful monsters and for them to be here it means that it's truly dangerous. Lorenzo kept on holding his hand but he slowly fainted.

The young girl was sitting on the ground as she was staring at the mysterious creatures it's eyes were blood shot read it moved around in the sea this creature was known as Vaepall a gray body it's known to be like a snake fangs like a tiger it's movements are so fast you don't see it coming it hides in the dark and has a powerful dark element. The young girl stood up and she took a deep breath she opened her eyes and she pulled off her coat.

"So this is a Vaepall such a powerful creature," she mattered.

Grrrrr.

"I understand you are upset because your home is all missed up I will help you in return I must ask for you help to find me a Soire which goes with this spear I won't really use it unless I must use it but I am still weak.

Grrrrr.

"Of course not I won't harm you and no one will come after you but you must stop harming humans it's not kind," the girl said and the creature let out sorrow cry and brushed against the young girl who frowned but she didn't understand the pain she felt she slowly reached over and suddenly the Vaepall disappeared.

"Ah what have I done?"

It doesn't matter let's not worry about it right now she thought to herself.

A man appeared and grabbed the young girl.

"Princess are you alright?"

"Yes thank you let's go home it seems like the Vaepall ran away or disappeared somewhere."

"Alright why did you save that boy."

The young didn't say anything she did was frown and shook her head maybe because he showed her kindness or something else she didn't even understand why did that herself.

Three days later the hunt was over and on that time Lorenzo has been laying in bed sick by the third day he was so upset he pouted all the way home and complained to his mother the kids had a week off school so Lorenzo laid on the couch in his underwear shirtless the door slammed opened and a voice sing across the room.

"Devi shut up!"

"What did you say!"

"I said shut up I am playing a game here and your loud voice is damn annoying."

Devi rushed over and started attacking her brother who was letting out a scream. Selena appeared she had long brown hair just like mom hazel eyes like dad she was beautiful, Devi was a mix brownish to blackish hair and her eyes were deep blue like mom.

"Oh guys before anything we have a new sister."

"So mom and dad having another baby let's get ready."

"No you stupid fools mom and dad adapted."

"What where is our sister?"

"She went to school she is every beautiful and I love the most all of you just straight ugly in front-"

Punch, kick, slap.

"I am telling mom!"

"Yeah we come home for a break and you just slender us for no good reason I bought gifts and food!"

"Oh my dear sisters I love you so much."

"Straight up two face who does it learn it from?" Devi mattered.

Selena and Jessica both stared at Devi.

"You!"

"What I don't teach those kinds of thing I am fifteen years old and have a boyfriend and I am happy."

"Why are you even home?" Lorenzo asked as he grabbed a bowl of popcorn and he laid down on the couch.

"Your future wife is going to scold you for being such a lazy butt."

"I am not lazy I work so hard."

"I know brother anyway we got you something and mom told us about your awakening how do you feeling?"

"It's the same as always it feels like people look down on because of Layin Grass but honestly what is so bad about it of course it's trash but it's still something right?"

"Lorenzo little brother I will tell you want my master always tells me it's not the fact that you have a trashy Warrior Spirit the person who makes it look like trash, remember these words no matter the path you walk on you are the only who make your Layin Grass look like something powerful."

"Selena I thought you were all about media selfies and kind of dumb but I never new you were this smart!"

Selena pushed her brother off the couch and pouted.

"You are so annoying."

"I will follow what you say from now."

"Good anyway we will be staying here for about a week before we have to go back to school," Selena said.
