He finally had enough points for the mining skills, and to boot, he had enough points to upgrade his crafting skills. All in all, this was one seriously lucrative little stop for him. He bought the Gathering (Which included both mining and botany) perk as well as upgrading his crafting ability. The gathering perk cost him sixty points while the upgrade cost him twenty-five for a total of eighty-five points. Good, he had still ten to spare.

The upgraded crafting perk allowed him intermediate crafting skills which included leather crafting as well as blacksmithing, but it kept the shapes rather basic, which was a bit disappointing. He checked what he needed for level five gear. Comixicium ore. The hell was that? He needed to create a hybrid of the two metals. Comixicium complemented Neodizamate perfectly. It created a much more powerful and robust weapon, but it also added to the weight. Which was why this was a perfect combo for level five to level eight.

He could only do that the next day because it was rather late. Still, he was rather excited about the prospect. He decided to go to bed earlier. He laid down on his bed and was playing when he dozed off.

He woke up the next morning rather refreshed. Originally he was going to make this his final send-off, but he really did need to upgrade his weapon first. So he went downstairs to see if he could find Adrian, but instead, he found Nianda who was nursing a headache. It made him remember he still hadn't paid for his stay for the past three days, "Morning Nianda."

She groaned as she looked up, "Oh, Radley my boy. What can I do for you?"

My boy? Radley shrugged it off, "I kind off remembered that I haven't paid for the past few days. So here is the money."

She waved it off, "Uugh, I am not in the mood for money. Look, you have already have been paid ahead for the next coming few years. Basically what I am telling you is that your stay here is free."

"While that is a most generous offer I can't accept that."

"My dear child. You have done more than enough to earn it. You are the reason this war has stopped. You are the reason we were able to such precious poison. You are the reason for a bright future. You earned it and then some. Even if you lived your days out here for the rest of your life it wouldn't be enough for what you have done. Now, go eat something. I have a raging headache to nurse."

Radley didn't know what to say. Was what he did really that amazing? Radley hesitantly walked away when he found Adira talking to Rita and Elita, "Morning guys."

Adira was in a surprisingly good mood, "Oh, morning Radley. I was going to get you to be part of this meeting. Adrian approached me last night with a request."

"Speaking of the devil. Do you know where he is?"

"Not the faintest clue. So here is the offer he made. He wanted you to help with his daughter."

Radley scratched his chin and then shook his head, "Not going to happen. Like I told him before. She needs proper field experience before I could let her in the team, and by that I mean she needs experience with a higher level in the vicinity to protect her in dire situations."

"Don't be like that. She will bring life to the party, after all, you bunch are a group of a social outcast that takes everything too seriously."

"You have no idea what I experienced with her. Look I don't need the added responsibility. Babysitting these two was already pushing it."

Rita didn't like that statement, "Oi, we are old enough to take care of ourselves thank you very much."

"I didn't mean it like that. I am just saying. I am a level five you two are level twos. See the problem?"

Adira's head dropped. She was well aware of the girls' level up during the battle for the bridge, but Radley leveled up twice for some reason in that short period of time. How does he do it? At this pace, he was going to become the youngest level twenty by quite the margin. Heck, he wouldn't be surprised if he became a level twenty before the year is out. That would make the council look like chumps. She wouldn't even be surprised if he was the one that somehow broke through the level twenty-three barrier and entered the level twenty-four area or perhaps even the most elusive twenty-five.

Elita wasn't surprised. She actually saw him become a level five. It actually made her jealous.

"Again Radley. You never cease to amaze. Congratulations. In any case, I am not going to take no for an answer."

"Look if I don't put my foot down you are going to keep sending people after me so that I could train them. No means no."

"I swear this will be the last one. Come on, do it for you, Auntie Adira."

"Auntie Adira? I think you are high on something."

"Radley…"

"Okay fine, but you owe me big time."

Adrian came out of nowhere, "Excellent. I will go get my daughter. When do you plan on leaving?"

"I need a better weapon. So I will be heading out into the wilds and then return. I can just as well use this time to train the girls up."

Both of them nodded and ran to their rooms to get into the right gear. Adrian ran to go collect his daughter. The first one to show up was surprisingly Kai who jumped onto him in a hug, "Yippee! I finally get some real-world experience."

It didn't take long for the others to show up. Rita suffered a pang of jealousy when she saw Kai hugging Radley. Elita straight up grabbed her and removed her from Radley, "Look here, Kai. There are a few things you need to understand. You are on the bottom of the food chain, and Radley has a stick shoved so deep up his ass that I don't even think it would be possible to remove it, which means he doesn't like hugs."

Kai stuck out her tongue and hugged Radley again. Radley just sighed.
