He was staring at the little girl he met. Her head was halfway severed. She was left for dead on the spot. She was no older than six!

A certain rage started taking root in Radley, as he closed the girl's lifeless eyes. Adrian suddenly screamed in anger upstairs.

Radley had a hunch as he ran upstairs. There he saw Adrian sobbing over his dead brother. William's throat was slit while still being bound to a chair. On the bed, he saw his wife naked and bound with her arms and legs together. She had multiple stab wounds in her back. It was clear she was raped as the telltale contusions were on her body. They must have made William watch, "So you still wanna remain neutral after this crap! I found the little one by the way. Her neck was halfway severed."

Adrian spoke through clenched teeth, "My brother is dead…DEAD! AND YOU HAVE THE GALL TO ASK ME TO PICK SIDES!"

"Before you jump to a conclusion. Hear me out." Radley waited for Adrian to say something but it never came, so Radley continued, "We make a third force."

Adrian scowled at him, "What?..."

"One that will kill off this barbarism. It started with the two magistrates. It will end with them, of course, the people that started all this, need to be butchered, in a much, crueler fashion."

There was a Darkness in Radley's eyes that sent chills down Adrian's spine. He never got fear from lower levels, but he was experiencing it right there and then.

Adrian relaxed but didn't let go of his brother's hand, "I'm listening."

"The first step is obvious. Find the motherfuckers that did this and end them…" Radley took a really deep breath, "Step two. Kill the obvious real culprits. The two magistrates."

"We are talking about magistrates here. They are representatives selected by the council. Killing them would be called treason."

"And you call this fair? This started because two leaders had differentiating opinions. A simple word turned into poison. This isn't going to stop unless something was done."

"Why not kill just one of them and be done with it."

"You don't seem to understand. It's a simple reason. Let's say one wins then what? What do you think will happen to the other side. The answer is simple. Prejudice. One side will find reasons to justify their actions against the other group due to what happened in the past. I've seen this happen before. I came from such a country. Racial prejudice. Something happened in the past and it gave a reason for the other majority to seek whatever reason to dominate the other group. If the leader was to remain, he will be too soft in his own area. This, will become commonplace. I won't allow that, even if it means I must carve my way through every last god damn person in both towns to get to them."

Everything that was said made perfect sense to Adrian, but that would mean becoming subject to treason, but so be it. He truly wanted to get his hands on the people who did this and he was going to do whatever it takes.

"Fine, what's the first step?"

"I think you know who we should get on our side first."

"Yeah, fine, but remember she too is a magistrate. She isn't going to just agree you know."

"Yeah, I know. That's why I will be talking with her daughter."

"Her daughter? Didn't you try to kill her?"

"No, I tried teaching her something and it backfired. I doubt there is any real bad blood, but one never knows. I need photos of the entire scene but I don't have a camera or phone."

Adrian took out William's phone from his pocket and threw it to Radley, "Keep it, he isn't going to use it."

"Isn't this a tad disrespectful."

"No, think of it as an indirect way for William to get justice."

Radley set off and took photos of everything. He found his gear neatly packed close to the door. He looked at his new axe The axe handle fitted perfectly with its dark metallic red sheen.

Adrian saw him in his new attire, "The last job from my brother. His wife did one hell of a job"

He gear entailed a new chest piece, leggings and boots. The seemed to have kept the original leather that he used as armor, but now he was just way better. They seemed to have polished the gear so it gave off this majestic pearlescent sheen white sheen. He found the color slightly ironic. He was to become this harbinger of death, yet he wore white. A symbol of peace and nobility, but it still looked amazing. He first real armor.

He moved around in it to get used to it.

Radley asked, "What are you going to do, Adriaan?"

Radley nodded. The two spent some time wrapping the bodies and placing them on the bed next to each other.

When the two were done Adrain proclaimed, "Today marks the real escalation of the war. Every last person who chose a side will regret their decisions."

The two separated as Radley made his way over to the bridge where he was stopped by somebody but thanks to the permit he was easily able to cross.

Back at the B&B Radley found Rita and Elita drinking some coffee. He went to their table and sat down without a word.

Rita was glad to see him, though Elita knew something was up.

Rita exclaimed, "Your armor looks unbelievable! What is that?"

"Albino scorpion armor. Look, we need to talk Elita."

Elita sighed, "I gathered from that look on your face. The last time I saw you like that was with Darnell."

"Yeah, only this time its much worse."

A cold shiver ran up Elita's spine.
