T/N: I'll never understand salty pessimistic people, if you're so negative towards this novel and the characters, it amazes me that you would choose to read this far, I should applaud your masochism for sitting through something you don't like. And whatever weird narrative you're trying to spin makes me think you read too many of those wannabe-saint mary-sue MC stories that you think that's how real people are suppose to be like. It really surprises me how some people just can't accept characters for having human flaws like a real human being.

It's also funny how people are cherry-picking so much of what happens in the novel and 'selectively choose to forget' important details because it doesn't fit their twisted narrative of 'he's toying with her life', like the part about ML forcibly changing MC's fate CAUSE SHE'S LITERALLY CURSED BY THE HEAVENS TO LIVE A MISERABLE AND TRAGIC LIFE.
