Chapter 37 - Little Monster Pretending to Be Cultured

If Yuan Chu hadn't withdrawn that strike in time, he would have died! His grasp on Ye Chenyuan tightened. His eyes stared at Yuan Chu, ruthless and terrified.

The talisman flew to Zhou Daofu. He should have let go of Ye Chenyuan, but instead, a hidden light shone in his eyes. He sucked in one last breath of spiritual energy and grabbed the talisman, laughing heartily.

"You want me to let him go? In your dreams! This brat is mine!"

He wanted to take Ye Chenyuan with him?!

"No!" Startled, Yuan Chu reached for him. At that moment, Zhou Daofu activated the talisman!

An explosion erupted, blowing off one of Zhou Daofu's hands. However, he cried out again, because Ye Chenyuan, who had escaped the seal, cut off his other hand!

"How could... How could..." Zhou Daofu stared at his empty arms in disbelief, his face ashen.

The master could fight past her cultivation level, and the disciple could break a seal meant for Nascent Souls. What kind of abnormal master-disciple pair was this?!

Yuan Chu didn't take the time to look at him. She stared at Ye Chenyuan and then started to physically check him.

"Are you alright? Did that explosion hurt you? Are you injured?"
