He saw that she was playing hard to get. He got angry again.

"Well, I hate you too because you canceled our wedding!" he shouted at her.

Easy to say for her---huh? That didn't sit well with John who works hard to bring the wedding into completion only to be ruined by her mother's hospitalization in the last minute.

"You never really appreciate all my efforts. All I have been doing in the past month is running after you, chasing after you just to show you how much I love you! But you had taken everything for granted!" John yelled at her, his voice was full of pain, sadness, and sorrow.

"No. You're wrong. I didn't take you for granted. Just that maybe we are really not meant for each other," she said sadly.

"You even hooked up with that Jerome guy the next day after our wedding got canceled! How convenient, huh?" he said bitterly.

Catherine shook her head. "Jerome visited my mother, we are not hooking up for God's sake! Stop accusing me of something that I didn't do!" she said. "Fine, let's break up then! Right now! I'm breaking up with you! Goodbye!"

John's face was drained of color. He wasn't expecting that she will break up with him today! talking about karma, the other day he was the one breaking up with her then now it's her turn demanding break up with him. Now he knows how painful it is! He sighed deeply.

When John didn't reply she walked towards the door to get out. But he was quick enough to block her before she reaches the door. He locked the door inside with his key and put the key inside his underwear, her eyes winded when she saw the key disappeared inside John's shorts.

"W-what are you doing? Give me the key!" she demanded, red-faced.

John smirked naughtily way at her. "If you want to get the key, you know where to find me!" he sauntered towards the bedroom and closed it behind him.

She walked to the sofa and turn on the flat TV screen. She scanned different channels on the television but nothing catches her attention. She sauntered to the fridge and got some cola to quenched her thirst. After drinking all the contents of the can, she threw it in the trash can.

She tiptoed slowly towards the bedroom and pushes the door slightly to take a peek of what he was doing. He already took off his polo shirt and was naked from waist up. She saw him holding a remote control and watching television inside the room. She closed back the door.

It's his intention to locked her up inside, for how long only God knows. She went back to the sofa and curled up looking forward to taking a nap.

She must have fallen sleep soundly, 'coz when John exited the bedroom and went to the fridge to get some drinks she didn't stir from her position in the sofa while hugging a throw pillow to her chest.

John didn't wake her up, he goes back to the bedroom still smirking.

When Catherine stirred from her sleep and saw the clock strikes at 5:00 PM, time to go home! She scrambled to her feet and went straight to the door to open it! But to her dismay, she remembered that the key was inside John's underwear! She groaned.

She sighed and walked towards the bedroom. She pushed the door open and closed it behind her. She stared at his face, he looks like he was sleeping. She walked to his side get in the bed and started fondling at the zipper of his jeans to get the key. His eyes flew open...

"Give me the key!" she demanded.

"Find it. If you can find it then you can open the door if not then you won't be able to go home tonight," he smiled at her.
