The CEO's Painted Skin 219 Burning Kiss!

Catherine was planning on cooking Chicken tinola ( chicken soup) for lunch. She went into the kitchen and cooked rice in the rice cooker then she began preparing the ingredients for the chicken soup. John followed her and help his lady love in chopping the whole chicken into small serving size, Catherine gave him the onions while she sliced the ginger. She let John cut the whole chayote into four pieces.

Done with the cutting of the veggies and herbs, John sat down on the chair and continues watching his lady love with adoration in his eyes while she began cooking the chicken.

Catherine washed the chicken and the chayote in the sink.

She heated the cooking pan in the electric stove, then add 2 tables spoon of cooking oil on it, then she put the chopped chicken into the heated pan, when the chicken was turning light brown she set them aside, she added the onion and ginger in the pan then next is the chayote, then she added the seared chicken. She adds two cups of water and then seasoned it with salt and pepper. She let the soup simmer for twenty minutes and waited for the chicken and veggies to become tender.

The aroma of the chicken soup filled John's nostrils, he was getting hungry all of a sudden. "It smells delicious, Cath!" exclaimed John caressing his tummy.

Catherine smiled at him fondly. She opened the lid of the pan and using the ladle she let John have a taste the soup.

"How does it taste?" she asked.

"It taste delicious already but need a little bit more salt, let me add the salt," he said, he scooped some salt using his fingers and sprinkled it in the soup.

Catherine added the remaining vegetable which is the malungay (moringa) into the soup and they waited for another minute until everything was tender and ready to eat.

She took a platter and scooped rice into it. Then she transfers the chicken soup into the bowl and placed it in the table with a serving spoon. John was already setting the plates, fork, and spoon in the table. They sat down on the chair and smiled at each other, then they began eating the foods they had prepared.

A few minutes later...the chicken soup bowl was already empty, only a few pieces of chicken bones left on their plates. John and Catherine smiled at each other, a satisfied grin was glowing on their faces, their stomachs were full.

"That was delicious!" exclaimed John. "We should cook together, Cath, the foods tasted delicious when we're preparing them together," he said grinning.

She looked at him misty-eyed nodding her head in agreement.

John saw her eyes. He stood up and went to her side feeling alarmed. "What's wrong, Cath? Why you looked like you were going to cry?" he cupped her face.

"I'm just happy that I see you again," she said. She buried her face into his chest.

John held her tenderly in his arms. "Shhh, don't cry. We're together now, we're both happy. Let's enjoy each other until the day we turn old," he murmured.

She grinned and kissed his lips. "I love you, John, so much!"

"I love you too, Cath!" he whispered.

The lovers hugged each other affectionately. They were so sweet towards each other as if they were like honeymooners fresh from their wedding.

A few moments later, they were done washing the dishes and cleaning the table. They retire into the living room to discuss their future plans.

"Since when are you planning to keep working her, Cath?" asked John. He understood that she enjoyed her job so much so he must have an open mind regarding her decision.

"Can I continue working here for at least six months, pleasee, Sir?" she smiled coyly at him.

John smiled at her lovingly. "Yes of course, if it can make you happy, I will agree to it..."

She hugged him out of gladness, feeling grateful that he give in to her request easily without an argument. "Thank you, John!"

"So, when are you planning to marry me?" John was aware that what he was asking her about is a sensitive issue. They'd been having two wedding attempts this year already yet the weddings fail miserably. He just wants to make sure that the next wedding attempt will be successful.

"After six months? Is that okay with you?" she asked him.

John was not liking her suggestion, but it seemed it's what she really wants at this point in time. He was trying to make sure that he can give her what she wants 'coz his primary aim right now is to make her happy, if she is happy with him she has no reason to run away again. Anyways, six months is not that long. Time fly so fast, he was willing to wait patiently for her this time.

"Okay, as you wish," he granted her wish. "We'll marry after six months."

She beamed at him with joy and she awarded him a quick kiss on his lips.

"So, what will be our arrangement?" she asked.

John caresses her cheeks lovingly.

"I will visit you here frequently. I will just pop up anytime to see how are you doing and to check the rest of the crew as well," he answered.

"Sounds lovely, I like that!" she grinned, happy with his arrangement.

Six hours later...the stores were now closing. They need to meet the crew!

John and Catherine went downstairs to introduce the new owner to all the employees. The crew and the security guards gathered inside the burger shop.

"Listen, everyone...I would like to introduce to you the new owner, no other than Mr. John Roxas."

All eyes were glued to John who is standing beside Catherine.

John smiled at the workers. "Hello everyone, nice meeting you all!

"Hello, Sir John!" they greeted him in unison with apprehension in their eyes.

One employee from the meat shop stood up slowly. "Sir, are you going to hire new workers to replace us?" he asked suddenly.

All pairs of eyes were glued to the new owner's face.

John shook his head. "No. I have no plan to fire anyone. I'm satisfied with your performance guys, so no need to worry. As the saying goes, why fix something that is not broken? That means you can continue working here as long as you like. Just keep doing your best in your job and I will be a happy and satisfied employer," said John.

"Thank you Sir John!" they cheered in unison and smiled happily at each other after they heard the assurance directly from the new owner himself.

John made some inspection in each of the store's cleanliness and orderliness, he can't find any fault, for now, he then released the workers to go home for the night.

When the stores were already closed, the lovers went upstairs to continue groping each other. They just can't keep their hands from each other. They were still in the stairway, yet John already cornered Catherine with his embrace and his hand was now lingering at the hem of her underwear, rubbing his hands on the surface of her panties.

Catherine giggled and sprinted from the rest of the stairs towards her room, John was following her from behind laughing. They landed on the bed on top of one another and their hot steamy make-out session lasted until midnight.
