John got out from his car, proudly holds the bouquet of pink carnation flowers in his hand, it's Dahlia's all-time favorite flower.

He pressed the gate's doorbell a few times getting excited to see his beloved. The last time they saw each other was two weeks ago.

Before he went to Zamboanga, they just recently celebrated their two years anniversary with steamy lovemaking in one of the most of expensive resort in Batangas. He booked a two-night stay in the resort with Dahlia and all they have done was made love in all corners of the room, swim in the beach, eat, and make love again and again.

John was groomed by his father to manage and take over their businesses. He was sent by his father to one of their coal mining site in Zamboanga Del Sur to have first-hand experience and knowledge about coal mining.

While he was in the coal mining site for two weeks, all he can think of is Dahlia, missing her so much every minute every second. They called and texted each other during their job's break time and had a long conversation during night time.

He just got back in Makati City two days ago.

Now he's here outside Dahlia's rented house, wanted to see and embrace her badly.

He frowned and getting impatient as minutes passes by because he was standing and ringing the doorbell for a hundred times already, yet she still hasn't come out of the house to see who is ringing her doorbell.

He texted her fifteen minutes earlier that he will come tonight to see her and bring her somewhere for a romantic dinner.

He retrieves his cell phone from his pocket and pressed call on Dahlia's number. It just keeps ringing but nobody is answering.

He was about to go back to his car when the door of the house suddenly opened. A pretty girl with chocolate long brown hair wearing a bathrobe rushed to open the gate.

She smiled broadly and hugged John.

"Sorry babe, am in the shower about to take my bath, I didn't hear the doorbell rings."

John hugged his girlfriend tight and kissed her cheeks. "I miss you real bad, babe. Flowers for you."

Dahlia took the bouquet from his hands and brought the flowers into her nose to smell it, loving the scent.

They went inside the house and Dahlia closes the door behind them. She went to the kitchen, put some water in the flower vase and arranged the flower on it with a radiant smile on her pretty face.

John comes behind her, trapping her in the sink. His mouth runs some hot kisses on her neck. Then both his hand sneaks inside the robe, cupping her twin breast and kneading them, to his delight she was not wearing anything underneath and when his hand travels down to her navel towards the center of her legs, a moan escapes her mouth.

"Are you ready for me babe?" he growled, his desire so thick he was ready to devour her right behind the sink.

He scooped the cat and brought it into the kitchen, he found Dahlia already sitting on the chair, holding her own bloody foot.

"W-what happened, babe?" said John, alarmed. He put the wounded cat on the floor and went to her side.

"I stepped into the broken glass and my foot got cut," she said. She grimaced in pain when she pulled a piece of broken glass sticking out of her foot, more blood came out of the cut.

"Wait here, I will get the medicine kit." John went into the cupboard and retrieves the medicine kit. He opens it, took a cotton, bondage and hydrogen peroxide. He cleaned her wound and applied hydrogen peroxide on it and wrapped it with a sterile bandage.

"Are you okay, babe?" he asked Dahlia, his voice full of concern.

Dahlia nodded her head.

John scooped the cat into the sink and washed its wound. He also applied hydrogen peroxide on the cat's wound and wrapped it with a bandage.

He took the dustpan from the corner and began sweeping the broken glass, he wrapped the splintered glass into the newspaper, then wrapped it in a plastic bag and dumped into the garbage can.

Satisfied with his cleaning, he lifted Dahlia's body and put her back into the bed. They lay down on the bed facing each other...

"I'm sorry we can no longer get out for dinner," said Dahlia.

"It's okay. Some other time. There's always plenty of time," he kissed her forehead softly and enveloped her body in a hug. Dahlia snuggled closer to John.

They spend another two hours locked on each other's arms.

John finally bid goodbye to Dahlia at 11:00 PM.

He went inside his car and starts the engine. Dahlia was waving goodbye at him. He saw her locking the gate.

He was driving his car along the highway for about ten minutes when he suddenly remembers that he brought with him some Zamboanga Del Sur's native delicacies as his presents for Dahlia. He turned his car around in the U-turn corner and drove his car back into Dahlia's place.

When he parked his car in front of the gate, he frowned, confused because the gate was already opened. But he saw Dahlia closing the gate before he went away...why is that?

He entered the gate and close it behind him, then he heard a muffled scream coming from the inside of the house...he entered the open door and walks slowly towards Dahlia's bedroom, his heartbeat faltered.

What John saw inside his girlfriend's bedroom choked his airways and drained all the blood from his face...
