Sandra picked up Catherine from Cavite City and brought her into Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Catherine's flight will be in the next forty-five minutes, they still have enough time for chit chat.

"Thanks for picking me up, Sandra."

"No big deal, Catherine. Actually, when Romeo told me that you are going to visit John in Zamboanga Del Sur and he will give you your plane ticket I volunteer to be the one to pick you up and give you your ticket since I have not much work going in the house."

They were having some light snack inside of one of the cafes inside the NAIA Terminal 3.

Sandra was sipping her chocolate milk latte while looking intently at the younger woman's face.

"Cath, you and John haven't re-schedule the wedding yet?" she asked out of curiosity.

Catherine looked up and shook her head. "Not yet. Maybe after 3 months, we will re-schedule again."

"I just want you guys to know that the marriage license will expire after four months."

"Okay. Thanks for the reminders, Sandra."

"Sorry, but I have to continue asking why you have to wait for another 3 months to marry, Cath?" asked by the bewildered Sandra. She can't understand why a couple who love each other postponed their marriage for another three months. It bothered her a lot.

Catherine sipped her iced chocolate milk a bit feeling uncomfortable by Sandra's question.

"My mother doesn't like John," she said.

Sandra's eyebrows rose. "Hmmm, why your mother doesn't like, John? He is a nice catch, a wealthy, loving and a generous guy. What is there not to like about John? Is it because of his ugly face?" she pressed her for more information wanting to know the real reason why the wedding has to be postponed for another three months.

Catherine doesn't want to reveal to Sandra about the real reason why her mother doesn't want John as her husband, it's better that only a few people will know the truth.

Sandra was waiting for Catherine's explanation that never comes. Then she remembered what Romeo has told her about the beginning story of the lovers. When she learned about it, her eyes almost pop out from her socket. John and Catherine's first meeting was some kind of a fictional story that can only be found in a novel.

"Your mother found out the truth?" she asked.

Catherine was dumbfounded, how did Sandra know about it?

Sandra saw the surprised in the younger woman's face. "I'm sorry I brought it up, Cath. John told my husband about everything since they were best friend. Don't worry I kept my mouth shut. I won't tell anybody about it. Please don't feel ashamed about it. You knew...lovers meet in so many ways, some meet under pleasant circumstances and some have an unpleasant encounter with each other but ending falling in love so hard with each other down the road, that is why every love story is unique."

Catherine smiled. "Thanks, Sandra. Yeah, that is the reason why my mother doesn't want me to get married to John, she thought I was being r-aped by John," she said shyly.

Sandra smiled broadly. "You know what Catherine? I think destiny played a cruel joke between you two. But the outcome of that cruel joke is a beautiful love story that both you and John shared. Now the ending of your love story has yet to be determined. Will you let your mother write the ending of your beautiful love story? Think about it...girl!"

Catherine fell silent addressing Sandra's question in her heart and mind.

Sandra rose to her feet. "Cath, time for you to board your flight. Remember, if you need somebody to talk to, am just a phone call away, okay?" she gave the younger woman her brightest sisterly smile.

Catherine stood up and hugged Sandra. "Thank you so much Sandra for everything!"

"You're welcome, dear. Enjoy your trip and give my regards to John, " said Sandra.

Ten minutes later...

Sandra watched Catherine disappeared inside the departure area. She called her husband to inform him that Catherine was now boarding the flight bound to Pagadian city. She exited the airport and drove her car towards home.

One hour and forty-five minutes later...

John watched excitedly when the plane that Catherine was boarding finally landed on Pagadian Airport.

He was restless with excitement to see his lady love again. When Catherine exited the arrival area she saw John waving at her!

She walked towards him in slow motion, they looked at each other, their eyes spoke volumes if there were no other people around them she already catapulted in his waiting arms.

He bestowed a kiss on her forehead lovingly. "Let's go now, Cath." John picked up her traveling bag and they proceed to the parking area and get inside the Mitsubishi L300 van, owned by the company.

Ramon was driving the company's vehicle. When he saw Catherine he gave her a thumbs up sign. The girl smiled back at him.

While on their way to Dolingag, John instructed Ramon to find a decent restaurant along the highway so that they can stop for a while and eat their dinner.

They stopped on a restaurant which has a private air-conditioned room for anybody who wants privacy. Ramon opted to eat his dinner in the ground floor so as not to disturb the lovers whose eyes were only meant for each other.

They ordered their foods and paid for it on the cashier. The cashier told them to wait for another twenty to twenty-five minutes before their orders can be served hot.

John doesn't mind the delay 'coz he has something on his mind. They climb the stairs towards the second floor where the private rooms were located.
