Caleb was hauled up onto the shoulders of the muscular guard and all he could see was the back of the guard and the more feeble in comparison guard trailing behind.

Embarrassingly Caleb shook around once more trying to set himself free but it was followed by a strong assured grip of the burly man

"He, The more you struggle the worse it will get "

Still shaking he heard his back click with pressure and he began to wince in pain

With an almost childlike crossing of the arms and face contorted in defeat, he looked like a grumpy kid.

As Caleb continued forward he was flailing around like a pendulum on the back of the guard swaying side to side like a sewsay and as he did his face contorted in distain and when he was paraded through townpeople snickered at him which cuased his brow to forrow, craning his neck on the journey to who knows where he observed the town ,it was modest but large he could see groups of people bringing wild game from the outside into the town ,there seemed to be a decent amount of commerce in the form of blacksmiths, bakeries ,Mills ,Granarys,Taverns and all sorts but one thing stood out of his eye which he caught the glimpse in the puddle ,it was a grey structure which shimmered in the stagnant puddle .

Caleb noticed the footfalls of the 2 guards to slow down and looked up and saw the guard who noticed the look of Calebs curious eyes.

"We are here " the lithe guard said looking towards Caleb and then towards the guard which carried celebs and they exchanged a quick glance at each other and the burly man shrugging which Caleb felt by the shoulder making a vice with the arm which grabbed him .

"Fine ,i will knock " the eyes of the guard rolled back in annoyance but he continued towards the structure

The guard moved outside of Caleb's site and as the footfalls of the guard stopped a massive boom gonged audible to Caleb and it reverberated a strong hum until it turned into an echoing simmer.

As the vibration died down a low pitter-patter of footsteps followed which grew louder until they stopped outside the door and as they did the door cracked open.

"Oh what do we have here" fraily echoeing out of Calebs sight but reaching his ears

"Sorry granny we found him on the outskirts, can you help him "

"Oh ,and what are supposed to do ,let this old granny deal with your woes "

With a bow from the skinny guard and a curt nod of the burly man they both said in unison

"Sorry "

The old women looked at the 2 guards with a stare of disappointment and shaking her head.

"Let the lad down, I cannot hold the poor lad if he isn't put down "

"he may be dangerous, do you want us to follow "

"See him in with me then ,do let him down "

Calebs was put down with a careful slowness and as he landed he wiped his legs down as if unclean now and a confused look of offence washed over the burly guard face.

He turned around to see the building and the women, she was old but there were certain fairness and wisdom to her visage and as he saw here realitys Skeens shuddered for a second and he saw a faint image overlayed of a nun,

and he could not help but mutter "M...oth...er"as the last words trailed off

Confusion and disarray shuddered his existence, shaken and breaking reeling from the experience, reality reasserted its hold within mere moments of confusion he tried to fish his memories in the storm for the nun his vision blurred and a scarlet droplet went down his nose, everything was darkening.

Caleb with a last effort looked at the old lady in desperation and caring eyes stared back but not from her but the stain glass window behind her.

Everything went black.
