Caleb focused as he did with hunting the rabbit but now with hesitation within him as this he knew it was unsurmountable to an extent but if he didn't he would be the next dine and dash for these Direwolves.

He saw the 3 Wolves who skulked past the tree line prowling, ready for prey to rear its head, he observed them and made sure to keep an eye out, they skulked further down the stream within his vision , their eyes were ominous as if they shone in the light and there shadows like dark beasts of hell imprinted onto the rushing waters which shimmered .

Caleb focused now clearing that clinging hesitation and wiping his wet brow where cold sweat gathered, he closed his eyes,his heart slowed to the methodical pace now and his breathing followed now trained and quick in his repose, an eerie tranquility overcame him as he saw the world almost slow as a new play of Hunter and hunted now sprung ,but the audience do not know the outcome like a nor does the actors ,they do not know if they are hunted or the hunter, Caleb wanted to make sure in these potential last frames he was the hunter and he comes ontop, with one heavy inhalation he breathed out with an almost instinctive reaction his eyes opened and now were narrowed for the hunt ,it was just 3 Wolves and him .

Caleb kept his position watching them , watching the 3 beasts breath fog with heavy inhalations, how their heads swiveled like a well-oiled turret looking around for there targets, how each step was quite which contrasted them to the great mass what they were .... their size was domineering, how they were now the challenge he needed to overcome and how that weighed heavy on him.

He waited and watched the 3 great beasts, 1 larger beast with darker grey fur stayed in the middle where 2 smaller grey ones flanked the large one , like a well-trained unit every movent was synchronized and each angle watched, they were watching there frontal cone, he needed to come from behind

After this revelation he watched the wolves advance at a startling pace , fast they approached the abandoned carcass with grim intent and with the keen nose they smelt it ,As Caleb saw this a cold sweat gathered on his brow, their head become crooked and sniff the carcass there ears raised high they simultaneously looked at each other.

The large wolf roared a shrill cry which shook Caleb but he knew it was coming but it didn't even help he shook but with him throwing the indecision to the wind and the help from the skill he overcame it .

One wolf with a lightning speed shot down the side of the stream after one glance from the alpha, as the alpha glanced to the one on the left nearest to the forest with an almost sign of intelligence the wolf nodded and reared up and stalked into Calebs direction

'Fuck ,fuck ,they cant of finding me already'

The Alpha which he expected to dart like lightning his way just extended his bend legs and raised itself with beastial pride and looked around not bothering with the search, as if they didn't need its help.

'Lady luck smiles upon me today'

The smaller diminutive wolf now skulked towards the direction of Caleb, in a few moments it was do or die
