Lyn wondered if something like that were possible for someone like her. The Queen issue, it was one of the many other things that were bugging her. Becoming Queen, she didn't think the job was suited to her. Although Lyn discovered that she is strangely good at leading people, it still felt a bit surreal to her. For so long, she suppressed and held herself back. She needed nothing; she was fine with how things were.

Having this strong ability means she can no longer loiter in the sidelines like before. Lyn always felt that her powers were strange. But, even then, she didn't think much of it. She didn't think she would be able to protect anyone with these skills of hers. To be able to protect everyone. With that thought in mind, she needs to strive forward for everyone else sake.

Recently things haven't been working out well for her. At first, she thought it was because Kazuya isn't beside her as much anymore.

Then again, her resolve had wavered at the end of that battle. Because there had been people who were willing to do their best for her sake, she thought that was enough. That's why she had announced her Queen Candidate at an earlier period than the others. Rather she had been the first one to announce it.

Even though the general public has acknowledged her brother and sister for the throne, those two have not made public announcements yet.

Besides, Zepher himself said it, 'The next person who becomes the Queen is my enemy." The black-haired girl didn't understand why, why he would say something like that. Especially since the Queen is someone people look up to and admire. Yet he sounded so bitter and yet so sad.

Her gaze softened when she heard his words — trying to cheer her up again? He's always doing these things for her.

She shook her head. "No, it's not your fault. It's mine. Lately, I've just had a lot on my mind is all," Lyn said with a weak smile. So many things keep occurring.

"Say I heard that you recently made a grand speech. What was it?"

"Well, it was, 'To all new knights. I welcome you here. The castle is undoubtedly magnificent, and I'll guarantee you'll make the best of your time here. The memories you'll create in this place are ones you'll never forget. There ones that will last a lifetime. Though they'll be filled with joy, anger, and sadness, their ones you'll undoubtedly treasure, this will be the first time for me, making this speech. Next year, who knows what position I will be in? However, I want to make this final year the best year ever. We're all going to create brand new memories alongside each other.

Even though I'm the Princess, please don't hesitate to come to us if you have any trouble. I know some of you are worried of the recent attacks. I know how that feels since I, too, had once been scared of them before I came here. You all have it though the desire to get stronger more than anyone else.
