"Say, Rhys, where's Kazuya?"

Rhys froze at the girl's words, 'Damn,' he doesn't have an excuse for this at all. He dropped the spoon in his hands. Since the previous day, Rhys decided he would take care of her until she recovered. It's not like anybody else, but him could do it.

"Allen hasn't come to see me either…"

Pupillam coughed, "The Prince...is dealing with uh the banquet since you can't attend Princess."

"Ah, they are still holding it? I guess I didn't need to come here."

Rhys sweat fell. Indeed it surprised him too. Wasn't this banquet and the purpose of coming here introducing Lyn? Or at least letting more people see her? But, they went ahead and held the party without her. Rhys shook his head, "Finish your food," he held out the spoon towards her, "Open up."

Lyn's cheeks colored, "I--I told you, Pupillam can do this." Right, unfortunately, he was not alone with Lyn. He looked over at the auburn colored haired guard who stood silently by the window. He almost forgot she was there.

Rhys rolled his eyes, "Lady Pupillam, didn't you get hurt speeding back to the harbor, causing you to miss the last boat?"

"Well, you failed," Rhys turned to Lyn, "Open your mouth."

Lyn stubbornly closed her mouth and looked away. 'How annoying,' Rhys sighed. She hasn't eaten since yesterday though. It would be bad for her to continue this way. Rhys took the spoon and brought to his mouth before he reached over and pulled the girl into his arms. It was a battle of dominance which the girl easily lost.

Rhys had to admit that he liked this situation a lot. He loved it whenever she got embarrassed or shy around him. She may not be as innocent in terms of fighting. But she is still naive when it came to things like this. She may have slept with Kazuya; however, Lyn is still pure. He continued applying more and more pressure and explored the girl's mouth thoroughly. The contents of the food he ate, had vanished moments ago - their salvias mixed together.

The entire time Lyn was squirming and trying to break free. But after a while, she eventually gave up her futile struggle. After a few minutes, Rhys drew back, "There, I made you eat."

Lyn looked at him, dumbfounded for a moment. Her whole face had turned bright red, and she quickly hid it with her hands.

"Don't get embarrassed; I was just feeding you," Rhys picked up a piece of meat and ate it.

At that comment, Lyn finally spoke up - but he used this chance to get her lips again. Since she's acting so stubborn about eating, all he can do is make her eat through this method. He can have a taste of her in the process too — two birds with one stone.

Rhys could feel the intense aura from a particular guard who was in the room. But, Rhys knew she couldn't attack with her injuries. He ran his hand through Lyn's hair.

He only stops because Lyn starts coughing, "R--Rhys, y--you idiot!!!" she exclaimed.

"Thank you very much for giving me food," he parted their lips. "Don't be so stubborn, how can you get better if you don't eat?"

Lyn looked down, "I'm sorry, I just don't have the appetite… Do you not know where Kazuya is?"

"He's hunting down the people who triggered your condition," Rhys admitted. He might as well say it. It's not like anything changes if she knows or not.

"I see."

"Usually you would say you'd go after him."

Lyn laughed, "I'm not that stubborn," she trailed off. "I just wanted to know where he is. Even if he is in a dangerous place, at least I'm aware of his location. Knowing where he is, is better than not knowing."

He can feel so much love in those words, and it made him feel sick. "Pupillam, leave."

"B--but.."

"Leave," Rhys said. His voice sharp. The aide hesitated but bowed and left the room. He turned to Lyn, who looked at him with a confused look in her eyes. He loosened his robs and joined the girl on the bed.

"Wait--," Lyn mumbled. "Don't do anything weird."

"I'm just giving you your treatment, Princess," his lips curved into a smile. "Or did you want something to come out of this?"

Rhys gaze fell on the girl who fell asleep. 'So stupid, she's far too easy to trick.' Rhys thought. Does this girl go around believing anything anybody says? When he first told her this was for treatment, the girl hesitated. She still hesitated even now, but still did it. All he did was kiss her and touch her a little, but the sounds that came from Lyn drove him crazy.

When he thought about how Kazuya already laid his hands on her, it would irritate him. To think that guy would go ahead and do it with Lyn. Rhys didn't think Kazuya had it in him to initiate something like that. So, was Lyn the one who did it?

"Unngh," Lyn mumbled. "Rhys?"

"Hey," he smiled and reached over to caress her black locks. "Do you want to eat?"

Lyn slowly nodded and then suddenly covered herself with the blanket, "M--my clothes, this is improper…"

Rhys smiled, "I didn't take everything." Though he was only kissing her, he didn't actually do anything.

"I'll tell my brother that you're trying to rape me!" she cried.

Rhys thought she was pretending to cry. But when he saw how her tears kept falling, he hugged her. "Sorry, sorry. The joke went overboard. I just took your clothes because your shirt got wet. I knocked over some water when I was kissing you."

Lyn looked up at him, "Really?"

"I'm not a beast Lyn since you belong to Kazuya. I won't do anything more than this." It killed him not to. If Lyn wasn't Kazuya's girl, he would have done something by now. "Lyn, don't cry anymore."

Lyn reached over and touched his cheeks, "Why are you the one taking care of me, and not Kazuya, or Allen? It's weird."

Yeah, the one who should be here is the boyfriend or the fiancé. But those two seem to think that ignoring the girl - and leaving her alone with the guy who has no relationship with her is the best idea. If he wasn't trying so hard to be a gentleman, then -- his thoughts broke off when he saw Lyn smile.

"What?" Rhys looked away uncomfortably. Why is she suddenly looking at him like that, wasn't she cautious of him just a few moments ago? This girl does peculiar things as usual, but then again, this should be a regular sight already. Still, "What is it? If you keep staring at me like this, I will attack you."

"Rhys, Rhys," Lyn suddenly turned shy, "I want a cuddle. I'm cold."

Isn't he already hugging her? What more does he want from him? Damn, this gentleman thing is difficult. Then again, Rhys held her tighter.

"Say, I wanted to ask you something, Rhys."

Here it comes, so this came with a catch.

"Why didn't you just tell me that we met each other before?"

Rhys scratched his head with his free hand, how does she expect him to answer this question?
