"My name is Lyn, pleased to meet you all."
"Princess Lyn, Princess Lyn. "
Her name. That's the other name her parents gave her, and yet when they speak it, it feels disgusting. So disgusting and vile. To suddenly hate the name that is given to her, in this situation, she can hardly be blamed for it; and yet right now, this name is something she wishes to discard. The conversations that flow afterward are completely lost to her; she does not know what she says in response. There are a lot of people who speak to her so easily and openly, yet she can see it, the fear. They are all afraid, they are all trying to get on her good side to escape the fear.
Just like Allen told her, this world is even more corrupted than the dull elite side. Individuals who know about black magic and strays who are elites maybe even more depraved than the humans who think nothing of money. The people here do not care about the deaths of their companions, let alone saving anyone who requires help. Do these people truly deserve to live? ' Why are you hesitating? Isn't it obvious what you want to do? Do you need me to take charge, is the light side consuming you too much Lyn?"
That person's words are the epitome of evil, and yet this child is also light. These people fear her and are trying to get in her good side.
Her thoughts broke off when she smelled something familiar. This scent. Her favorite. ..scent.

Did she see him? Either way, to have this meeting with that person in the ball where his girlfriend is to attend as a wife of another person.
Well in the first place it was that very same husband who told him to arrange his meeting here. She's dressed up prettily though. He thought that her traditional dress from her household was grand, but this one is grander.
His thoughts broke off when he feels a pair of arms wrap around his back, so she saw him and used her powers to come up here. "Lyn, you should go back. "
Not hearing a response he spun the girl around to see her pouty cheeks, "You didn't tell me you were meeting mentor here,"
Oh dear, she's mad, "It was last minute," or rather what's with this random timing. That man is even more disorganized than he is.
"That's a lie, you and Allen discussed it for sure. "
Why is it that she's sharp on such matters but slow when it comes to the important stuff?
Kazuya nodded, "Alright, so we may have said a word or two. The best way for me and your mentor to speak now is in this ancients ball since meeting in the open is risky."
"You should have told me."
"My bad, are you angry Lyn?"
"Very. But I'm glad in a way; I can remain sane if I know you're here."
"Yeah I know, "Kazuya pushed her to the nearby wall, and gently cups her cheeks. He knew that's part of the agreement he had with Allen.
'Even I am unsure of how she will react being in an environment filled with those of her own kind. However, if you are around, then I believe she ought to remain controlled. ' Kazuya understood that her stray side is stronger due to the curse. But Kazuya stared at the girl carefully, hmmm is there any change? She still looks the same as before. Her expression seems to be okay, too, but just now she held on to him so tightly.
"What is it, Kazuya?" Kazuya doesn't answer and continues to stare. Lyn glanced around before she said, "Um, if you want to kiss me. ..you can."
"Stupid. What on earth are you saying?"
"I'm wrong?" Lyn said.
Kazuya nodded, gee what's with her being able to say stuff like that so easily? Or rather, the disappointment in her tone didn't fail to escape him. "You, you seemed to be in low spirits. So I wanted to take a closer look at what you that's what it was. "
When he saw her soft gaze, Kazuya looked away embarrassed. " You must have thought that because you're always mindful of my feelings. So you think those things needlessly."
"You think so. . .?"
"Yes, because your very kind Kazuya."
Kind, huh? He's heard those words from her so many times already.. . It doesn't look like that man is coming anytime soon, "On second thoughts Lyn, let's kiss for a bit."

What's he going to do with this pretty bundle in his arms? Kidnap her? Yeah kidnapping her sounds okay, after all, look how pretty she is. They can hardly blame him for taking away something so pretty.
As he thought this, Lyn spoke up, "If you think strange things when we are together, it proposes a problem for me."
"It does?"
Yes. But, I think it's okay if Kazuya were to do what he's thinking. " So she's basically saying she wouldn't mind if he were to kidnap her. Well, he wouldn't mind it either, to take her away from this.
"You're sucking a lot, Lyn. Are you hungry? " he asked softly, as he caresses her black locks. It was strange, but whenever the girl tried to drink blood to calm down her dark powers. He wonders if blood is the only solution.
The Princess in his hometown told him once before that there are ancient tales that show humans with sharp teeth. Individuals with extended life spans. These individuals drink blood.
"No, but I want to see if Kazuya's been cheating."
"Brat, why would I cheat now?"
"Because you're a pervert."
What sort of justification is that?
Well, he guesses she has every reason to come to that basis. Kazuya was about to say something when he caught a glimpse of a familiar person approaching them. It was Prince Allen's second aide..
"Lyn, your escorts come to pick you up. "
"Oh, Carlo, hello."
At that, the auburn colored haired man's calm demeanor faded, "Princess Lyn, please stay put. If your husband isn't with you, you call one of us guards over."
"But I saw Kazuya."
It was clear that the guy was anything but happy with that response; but seeing how Lyn wasn't going to say any more on that matter, he sighs deeply, "Princess Lyn, we must get going. You have to start making your formal greetings."
"I see," Lyn slipped away from his arms.
The second she does so the absence of warmth and light is evident. The feeling that someone had just ripped away the other half of his heart; and yet the comforting feeling of the girl's lips reassured him once again, "Mmmm."
"Kazuya, please meet me at the back later. We have to talk about what happened earlier today. "
So much for getting away with it. But Kazuya supposes it was only right for Lyn to get answers. Kazuya reached over and hugged her from the back, "Kazuya?"
Kazuya sighed, "Few more minutes."
Lyn turned around and started to play with his hair, "Kazuya, Kazuya. You know I'm angry at you."
He laughed, "I know, that's why I'm trying to bribe you."
"This time around, I won't accept bribes."
His gaze softened, what happened earlier must have really upset her. Lyn looked so happy when he took her along; she even did that cute victory pose of hers because Lyn thought she would be helping. Kazuya didn't mean to crush her dreams like that. But this time around, he had no choice in the matter.
